The writing of this article focuses on the impact of the construction of the Patane Grave on the availability of residential and agricultural space in North Toraja and local government policies regarding this matter. The method used in this research is empirical research method. The data used are primary data collected through interviews and questionnaires to respondents and secondary data obtained from literature materials recorded in several books and articles. Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the construction of pantane graves had both positive and negative impacts on the availability of residential and agricultural space, the positive impact was saving on land use for burial needs, facilitating the burial process and customary rituals related to Ma'nene 'rituals. While the negative impact of the construction of the Patane grave is causing unorganized in the arrangement of residential and agricultural spaces because there are no rules governing the location of the Patane grave, so that people are free to build wherever agreed by the family, so that it is mixed with settlements or built in productive agricultural locations, thereby reducing residential and agricultural space systematically. There is no local regulation regarding the Patane Grave building. Unfortunately, various problems arose that required universities to take responsive steps to find the solutions to the monotonous of the online learning system which made students’ enthusiasm for online lectures drop dramatically due to the ability of lecturers in utilizing online applications which was limited on giving face-to-face lectures virtually without any modification. This study aimed to elaborate the effectiveness of applying CIA learning approach as an effort to increase students’ enthusiasm and interest in the midst of the monotonous of face-to-face lectures virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research methods. The samples used were 100 students from various disciplines at Sawerigading University, Makassar who were chosen randomly. The data collection technique was through questionnaire and observation. In general. The results showed that students' interest in online learning systems increased from 12.7% which stated that the learning system applied by lecturers during the first period of the pandemic was less qualified to 61.8% of high quality in the second period so that the students felt very interested in joining the online system. The students response agreed that the online learning system by Sawerigading University lecturers was more creative, interactive and active after the CIA learning approach was applied through various activities in the virtual room. Resilience is the way how an individual deal with obstacles or problems. Some factors influence each student’s resilience, outside and inside of each individual, called as risk and protective factors. This research was aimed to identify the risk and protective factors that affect the student’s resilience. Moreover, the objective was also to find out how those factors affected the student’s resilience. The scope of the research was the student of English Department in the first year that got GPA lowers than 3.00. This case study collected the data by exploring the academic score, conducting biographical research by interviewing the student and the lecturers, and analyzing interview-sessions-diaries of the student. The findings showed that the risk factor affecting the student’s resilience came from the environment, in which the family was less supportive and low expectation. Furthermore, the protective factors which affecting the student’s resilience are low family stress and good child relationship. Dealing with how those factors affecting the student’s resilience, it was found that the less supportive aspect made the student did not bond with parents that caused low surveillance for the student’s achievement. This type of research is a qualitative research that seeks to find meaning, investigate processes and obtain deep understanding and understanding of individuals, groups, or situations. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews are intended to gather information about online learning through e-learning applications, zoom meetings and whatshapp and documentation is carried out to print documents in the form of photos or distance learning results during the COVID-19 pandemic. For data validation using data validity testing techniques through the method triangulation. The data analysis technique in this study uses an analysis model according to consisting of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the pillars that support state revenues and a means to support the Indonesian economy towards a better direction. Brand awareness is one of the things that every company dreams of in improving its performance. The company's performance, which is supported by the company's sales of the brands they own, will certainly increase with the brand awareness of consumers of the brands offered by a company. For this reason, the authors feel the need to examine the components that affect the performance of the company, in this case Small and Medium Enterprises as the object. The methods used are: 1) The validity test of each component of Digital Marketing and Brand Awareness, where the valid components are re-tested using; 2) Reliability test, then the reliable components are carried out; 3) Multiple Regression processing test. As the result, it found that Digital Marketing (X1) and Brand Awareness (X2) together have an effect on the performance of SMEs in Makassar City (Y).
