The main idea of this study aims at increasing the percentage of population covered by provided service within 15 minutes. In some cases, it is natural and logical to assume that moving several stations a few kilometers or performing other changes in the network could significantly improve the service accessibility for citizens. In this paper, we concentrate on emergency medical system optimization, in which only minimal changes are acceptable. Theoretical explanation of quantitative methods is followed by a computational study with real data from Slovakia.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"197 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123026553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The applied approximation method was initially developed for a class of infinite-dimensional homogeneous or-dinary linear Volterra difference systems. First, we extend this approximation to non-homogeneous systems. Second, based on this approximation, we have shown that discrete-time MAS with communication delay and small gains is asymptotically equivalent to a MAS without communication delay. We give an algorithm to compute the delay-free MAS model and we have analysed its properties. Simulations are presented to show the applicability of the proposed approximation approach.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131496197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The wastes generated by used products pose a threat to public health. Selection of alternative landfill sites to be determined for medical waste is a challenging task as there are several criteria to consider. Fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approaches can be employed to overcome this problem. In this study, the landfill sites evaluation for Covid-19 pandemic medical waste is investigated. Decision-makers give their judgments with intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and a novel circular intuitionistic fuzzy MCDM approach is developed for evaluating sites. As a contribution to the literature, this study extends the usage of circular intuitionistic fuzzy sets (C-IFS) in MCDM approaches by proposing defuzzification functions. The application of the proposed method is intended to guide future C-IFS MCDM methodologies.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134441985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is essential to capture, monitor and analyze the traffic of 5G networks. The 5G network is gaining more and more popularity in the different areas of the industry and everyday life. The diversity of this new technology raises new security challenges and new vulnerabilities. Currently 5G networks are not properly protected from malicious traffic. To protect their systems and networks, companies more widely set up Security Operations Centers (SOC) for monitoring and analyzing network traffic and events. However, there is no proper methodology yet to use SOC in 5G networks. In this paper, we study the possible methods of network monitoring focusing on the RAN, especially on Radio interface and end devices of 5G networks and search for potential extension solutions to our existing SOC.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132787267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advantage of the method over density-based methods (e. g. acoustic, optical measurements, etc.) is that it also allows to deduce the chemical properties of the examined material. In this article, our research group examines a new approach on the implementation of the method. Consequently, by modeling the studied material, which can be considered as a continuum, as a linear network with concentrated parameters, we would like to determine the weights on the branches of the graph, i.e. the resistances in our article. After defining the mathematical model, we created a physical model in order to validate the self-developed algorithm. We used a precision measurement procedure to calculate the resistance values placed on the branches of the graph.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122382940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games are a representative of one of the highest complex game environments. In RTS games, the players' tactical and strategical decisions need constant adaptation in order to win the game. In this work, a preliminary study is reported on opponent modeling in RTS games via the incorporation of association rule mining to identify game policies in online mode. Such insight into opponents' mode of operation should provide a player with vital information regarding choosing advantageous gameplay countermeasures against an opponent.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115305987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When IIoT is applied to industrial settings and processes, it results in the creation of a smart manufacturing system, which consists of an intelligent network of industrial components that interact with each other to improve manufacturing and industrial process performance. To accelerate platform development, it is critical to select an appropriate industrial communication protocol. Recently, researchers have developed a number of Open-Communication Framework that can be utilized to design new smart manufacturing systems. Furthermore, the cost of utilizing communication platforms must be considered. Even if a company decides to build its own platform, the initial building costs are often substantial, as is the cost of updating and maintaining the platform on a regular basis. In this article, we will discuss the choices for an Open-Communication Framework for advanced manufacturing systems.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124716203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Historical European Martial Arts alliance focuses on re-enacting the Late Middle Ages and Renaissance fighting styles. To popularize this art, novel research to automatically distinguish selected sword cutting techniques has been conducted. The fencing knowledge required for conducting this research was based on publications and consultation with experts in the field, and recordings. For this research, different movements from Masterstrikes such as Zornhau (Strike of Wrath), Schielhau (Squinting Strike), Zwerchhau (Cross Strike), Krumphau (Crooked Strike), Scheitelhau (Crown Strike) were selected. Motions performed by an adept fencer (acting expert) were used as patterns of correct strikes and compared with the movements of fencing amateurs. The main goal of this research was to measure the precision of movement while performing five different fencing strokes. Each movement was recorded with 39 unique full-body plug-in gait configurations initially designed for medical applications. During the exercise, 16 EMG electrodes configuration was used for the measurement of muscle activity.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128261978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MFC provides several important opportunities for the red meat sector, including enhanced robustness, scalability and flexibility. Moreover, it is mindful of the need for small-medium meat processors requiring access to automation, which has proven uneconomical until now. The industry has renewed interest in such automation initiatives, particularly considering its need to improve resilience in the face of future global pandemics. The paper describes the progress of the MFC, as well as a rudimentary framework for realising the implementation. Finally, the paper discusses some of the major hurdles faced in the future.","PeriodicalId":340545,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125320523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
