For this reason many concepts and programming models are evolved. Out of those concepts concurrent execution of small units of the same application gives better performance. This paper addresses the comparison of efficiency and performance of computing in multiprocessor and multicomputer environment. A set of tasks having various sizes is run in normal programming environment, multiprocessor environment and multicomputer environment in order to analyze the performance. Region splitting is done using a parallel pixel network. We propose a modified merging criterion to reduce the execution time and corresponding hardware implementation is also proposed. We have shown the modified merge criterion will reduce the number of merging iteration steps. Speeds of parallel connected induction motor drives are estimated by natural observer. The speed difference between two induction motors and the torque ripple are reduced under unbalanced load conditions when fuzzy speed controllers are used. Simulation results are presented and are compared with the existing well known PI controller. Controllers are tested on two area thermal thermal interconnected power system. A multi objective function is created by two criterions Integral Square Error (ISE), and Integral of Time Multiplied Absolute value of the Error (ITAE). All of these objective functions are optimized by using Genetic algorithm (GA). Parameters for an area are determined by using these two controllers; both controllers use GA and the third controller's parameters are calculated by an objective function which is formed by the combination of conventional objective functions. The aim of proposed controller is to restore the frequency to its nominal value in very short time. However proposed controller is tested and aimed for shortest settling time and minimum peak overshoot. It is found that the proposed controllers exhibit satisfactory over all dynamic performance when compared with conventional controllers. Two sets of observations are generated, in first observation set robustness of controller is tested by the step change in load, second observation test gives the effect of speed regulation on the frequency response. Current technological solutions for this include voice to word/text generator, glove based (super-glove) for hand gesture image capturing. But, these methods/techniques have disadvantages especially in the case of voice to word-/text generation it becomes easy for the common people to communicate with the differently challenged but the reverse requires knowledge of sign-language which everyone will not be familiar with, in the case of glove based technique it requires a specially designed glove to be worn by the differently able this becomes an additional hardware requirement, moreover there is a delay between input and output too. Most of the wavelet-based compression techniques first determines the coefficients and then performs a threshold-based operation to obtain the compressed video. In such works, there is a lack of analysis in selecting an appropriate threshold value. To overcome such drawback presented in the existing methods, we have proposed a video compression technique with an adaptive threshold selection method to compress the videos in this paper. The simulation results show the effectiveness of proposed video compression technique. The performance of the video compression technique is evaluated by comparing the result of proposed technique with the existing video compression technique. The study employs Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Decision Trees (DT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH), Probabilistic Neural Net (PNN), Genetic Programming (GP) and Logistic Regression (LR) for classification. A dataset of 2500 phishing and non phishing emails is analyzed after extracting 23 keywords from the email bodies using text mining from the original dataset. Further, we selected 12 most important features using t-statistic based feature selection. Here, we did not find statistically significant difference in sensitivity as indicated by t-test at 1% level of significance, both with and without feature selection across all techniques except PNN. Ziegler and Nichols tuning method is simple and cannot guarantee to be effective always. This paper investigates the design of fuzzy logic based self tuning Proportional Integral (PI) controller on a First order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) non linear spherical tank system using block box modelling. The real time PI controller was designed for a liquid level process, the servo and regulatory responses of the controller were obtained. The simulation results of conventional PI controller, Internal Model Control (IMC) based PI controller and Self tuning Fuzzy PI controller is obtained using MATLAB. Although the mobility management protocols are matured enough in cellular network it is in a growing phase for IP based network. In this paper a new mobility management scheme called Three Layer MIPv6 (TLMIPv6) is proposed and comparative performance evaluation is carried out with MIPv6 and HMIPv6 protocol using simulation in ns-2 environment.
