Conditions are determined under which the individual and collective resonant effects in the considered system lead to the formation of an electromagnetic field with a 2D-periodic structure of chessboard type near the array. The array parameters are found for which a giant enhancement of the scattered field takes place such that the field possesses a quasi-1D layered structure with alternating sharp maxima and deep minima.","PeriodicalId":340014,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference Days on Diffraction 2013","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130593583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Normally such speculations are based on approximation of the exact integral representation for an imaginary (or real) part of Green's function in high frequency regime and far field. We emphasize that high frequency approach already contains an error due to sources-receivers closeness and acts as the far field approach at the same time. There are effective algorithms for their computation. To increase coherent gain the window is truncated with an additional one. This approach allows us to obtain windows with good properties. The degree of cut of the function determines the relation between side-lobes and coherent gain. Usually the best windows are obtained with the cut near the effective support of function.","PeriodicalId":340014,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference Days on Diffraction 2013","volume":"117 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129373746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
