Therapeutic communication is one of the nursing intervention for patients with violent behavior. This study aimed to identify the relationship of communication and risk of violent behavior in schizophrenic patients. This study used a descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional design, which involved 68 patients with schizophrenia who were selected by consecutive sampling technique. The instrument in this study used a therapeutic communication checklist and observation sheets for changes in violent behavior. The results showed that as many as 35 patients (51.5%) who received good therapeutic communication from nurses, and 37 (54.4%) patients showed moderate risk of violent behavior. The results of the analysis by the Gamma ordinal by ordinal test found that there was a significant relationship between therapeutic communication and the risk of violent behavior with p value= 0.001 (<0.05). It showed that the better therapeutic communication applied, the lower of the incidence of violent behavior in schizophrenic patients. Hypertension in Indonesia is 44.1% and the mortality rate due to hypertension is 34.1%. Hypertension data in Perumnas Public Health Center are 790 cases. This study aimed to determine the effect of acupressure on pain scales in hypertensive patients. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a sample size of 55 respondents with pre-post intervention. The results showed that there were differences in average pain scores between before and after acupressure intervention. Acupressure can be used to reduce pain better with a p value of 0.001. Acupressure therapy has many functions for physical health, one of which is to reduce acute and chronic pain. Pain occurs due to an imbalance of “qi” energy flow in the body. Acupressure will balance the body's “qi” energy flow so that it will relieve pain while curing diseases. Mothers can experience anxiety so that independent treatment is the most effort made. Unaccountable information can lead mothers to inappropriate fever management. Preliminary data taken randomly in the outpatient unit showed that 9 out of 15 mothers did not understand the understanding and management of children's fever. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of maternal knowledge about child fever with the management of child fever in a private hospital in Western Indonesia. This descriptive correlational quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach was conducted in February - March 2020. The incidental sampling technique obtained 191 respondents from the initial population ie all child clients in the outpatient unit. Data collection using a questionnaire about maternal knowledge and management of children's fever owned by Widyastuti, 2016 with a content validity index of 0.88. The reliability of the mother's knowledge questionnaire reached Cronbach Alpha 0.527 and the children's fever management questionnaire reached 0.724 with the KR-20 technique. Chi Square analysis showed a significant relationship between mother's knowledge and management of children's fever (p = 0.001). Providing education about comprehensive fever management is very much needed in the outpatient unit setting. Currently the problem of obesity has been experienced by many children. One of the main actions to deal with obesity on childhood is through the closest person, they were the family. This study aimed to determine the relationship of parenting style applied by parents to the incidence of children obesity that occurs in the elementary school of Badung Regency, Bali Province. The research method in this research was crossectional study with a total sampling technique. This research was conducted at two elementary school in Badung Regency involving 96 students from grades 5 and 6. The analysis of this study used the Chi Square test which shows the results of p value = 0.03 <α. It means that there was a significant relationship between parenting style to the incidence of obesity in school-age children in the Badung regency. One intervention that can be done in asthma patients to maximize pulmonary ventilation is diaphragmatic breathing exercises. This study aimed to determine the effect of deep breath and position on the oxygen saturation (SpO2) and respiratory rate (RR)in asthma patients. This study used a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest with control group. In this study the sample was taken using consequtives sampling with 15 people in one group and the entire study sample was 30 people. Measuring the SpO2 value of patients using Oxymetri and the frequency of breathing using a stopwatch for one minute. Intervention of deep breathing techniques and positioning and after observation for 30 minutes. The analysis used the Mann Whitney test. The results of the study showed the influence of deep breathing intervention and position on the SpO2 value of asthma patients (P Value = 0.001) and there was influence of deep breathing intervention and position on the RR value of asthma patients (P Value = 0.001). Asthma can be realized by proper management of asthma. This study aimed to determine the relationship between dietary compliance, physical activity, and adherence to taking medication with blood sugar levels when in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This type of research was analytical with a cross-specific approach that uses a sample of 46 Rejang tribal diabetes mellitus patients who come to Curup Health Center, Prumnas Health Center and Delima Village Health Center during the period of August to October 2018 which met the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. The instruments used were food recall forms, questionnaires, medical records and glucometers. The results of the study were processed by bivariate analysis using the chi square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test. The results of the bivariate statistical test dietary compliance variable p = 0.001 OR = 15,343, CI = 3,327-67,636, and the medication adherence variable p = 0,035, OR = 4,038, CI 1,061-15,370. There was a significant relationship between diet compliance, adherence to taking medication with blood sugar levels when in patients with diabetes melititus Rejang tribe Rejang Lebong District. Consumption of fruits and vegetables in adolescents is important for preventing degenerative diseases. The aim of the study was to determine the factors associated with fruit and vegetable consumption in adolescents in rural-urban areas. This study used a cross-sectional research design in Yogyakarta with 196 rural-urban teens. The analysis used was univariate, bivariate, analysis. The results showed that teenagers in urban areas ate less vegetables. Whereas in teenagers in rural areas, they consume less fruit. There is a significant relationship between vegetable consumption in adolescents in rural areas with father's education level (p = 0.031) and self-image perception (p = 0.041), while in urban areas there is a significant relationship between vegetable consumption and self-image perception (p = 0.049) and education in adolescents (p = 0.047). Fruit consumption in adolescents in rural areas that are significantly related is the perception of body image (p = 0.016), while in adolescents in urban areas that are significantly related is monthly money (p = 0.003). The used of them were influenced by knowledge and attitude. The purpose of this study was to known the correlation of knowledge and attitude of the elderly in use of the traditional medicine to reducing hypertension in Batang Tumu Health Center, District of Indragiri Hilir. This study was analytical withcross sectionaldesign. The population were all elderly who had hypertension as many as 143 respondent. The number of samples in this study were 59 respondents. The technique of sampling was purposive. Measuring instrument used was questionnairre. The results showed that elderly with well knowledge were 31 respondents (52.2%) and positive attitude were 38 respondents (64.4%). The chi square test results showed that there was a significant correlation between knowledge with the use of traditional medicine to reduce hypertension with p value 0.002<alpa 0.05. There was a significant correlation between elderly attitude with the use of traditional medicine to reduce hypertension with p value 0.004 <alpa 0.05. Factors that can influence critical thinking skills include physical condition, motivation, anxiety, habits, intellectual development, consistency, feelings, and experience. These factors can provide positive support or can reduce critical thinking skills. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the application of nurses' critical thinking skills in implementing nursing care to patients. Crossectional research design. The study population was inpatient nurses and a total population sample of 113 nurses. The results of this study (73%) were female, (78%) education was not Ners, (91%) were married, (57%) were civil servants, (53%) were more than 30 years old, (58%) were working long < 6 years. There was a significant relationship between sex factors (p. 005), duration of work (p. 0,045), motivation (p. 0.015), anxiety (p. 0.008), intellectual development (p. 001), and experience (0.002) towards the application of critical thinking nurses in implementing nursing care.
