Air sungai Batang Masumai . Tujuan dilakukan Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini untuk mengetahui kualitas air sungai Batang Masumai dengan menggunakan parameter BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) dan COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) apakah kadar air sungai tersebut sudah sesuai dengan standar baku mutu pada peraturan pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2021. Analisis dilakukan di laboratorium lingkungan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Merangin. Parameter BOD menggunakan metode titrasi iodometri dengan hasil uji BOD yang telah dilakukan diperoleh nilai 7,2478 mg/L. Indonesia has a very diverse potential for minerals, ranging from iron ore, laterite iron ore, iron sand to iron sulphide ore. Sulphide ore is one of the minerals that has the potential to become the parent mineral for gold. One area that has sulfide ore is Wanggameti Village, Matawai Lapawu District, East Sumba Regency. This condition encourages research to be carried out with the aim of knowing the types of minerals in sulfide ores by XRD analysis and to identify the content of elements in sulfide ores by XRF analysis. The results showed that the results of XRD analysis of sulfide ore samples taken from Wanggameti Village, Matawai Lapawu District, East Sumba Regency contained minerals of the types Quartz (SiO2), Calsite (CaCO3), Corundum (Al2O3), Iron Aluminum Silicon (Fe3Al2Si3) and Muscovite 2M1 ( KAl2Si3AlO10(OH)2). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi kimia, karakteristik silika gel yang disintesis dari limbah batu akik asal Desa Nian Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber sintesis silika gel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sol gel. Penelitian ini diawali dengan pencucian serbuk limbah batu akik dengan HCl 2 M untuk menghilangkan unsur-unsur pengotor. Selanjut ekstraksi silika dilakukan dengan mereaksikan dengan NaOH 3 M untuk memperoleh natrium silikat. Natrium silikat yang diperoleh selanjutnya disintesis menjadi silika gel dengan menambahkan HCl 3 M tetes demi tetes sampai pH netral. Silika gel hasil sintesis dianalisis komposisi dengan XRF dan dikarakterisasi dengan XRD dan FTIR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi kimia serbuk limbah batu akik dengan XRF diperoleh Si 35,6 % dan kandungan terbesar adalah Ca yaitu 54,3 %. Silika gel hasil sintesis memiliki kemurnian adalah SiO2 99,1 % dan Si 97,6 %. The concept of uncertainty is very important for measurement results, because uncertainty expresses the quality of measurement or test results. Measurements and tests have not been declared complete without an uncertainty value. The smaller the value of uncertainty, the more accurate and precise the results of the research or test carried out will be. The purpose of this Field Work Practice is to determine the uncertainty value of the Calculated Cetane Index (CCI) ASTM D-4737 and Kinematic Viscosity ASTM D-445 tests in the Cepu Migas PPSDM laboratory. In testing the measurement uncertainty with CCI ASTM D-4737 and Kinematic Viscosity ASTM D-445 using diesel as a sample, the test was carried out for 7 days with 2 repetitions of the test every day. ± 6,980, and the results of the calculation of uncertainty by testing the Kinematic Viscosity ASTM D-445 is ± 0.40. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan aktivitas adsorpsi dan isoterm adsorpsi biosorben kulit buah salak terhadap daya adsorpsi logam Cu(II). Dalam penelitian ini, adsorben kulit buah salak yang digunakan terbagi menjadi 2 (dua) yaitu adsorben tanpa aktivasi dan adsorben teraktivasi asam nitrat (HNO3) 0,1 M. Aplikasi adsorben dilakukan pada variasi waktu 30, 60, 90 dan 120 menit. Karakterisasi dan aplikasi menggunakan Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) dan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Hasil uji adsorpsi menunjukkan waktu optimum adsorpsi dicapai pada 30 menit waktu interaksi. Dalam penelitian ini, adsorben kulit rambutan yang digunakan terbagi menjadi 2 (dua) yaitu adsorben non-aktivasi dengan adsorben teraktivasi asam nitrat (HNO3) dan natrium hidroksida (NaOH). Dilakukan uji adsorpsi menggunakan variasi waktu 5, 10, 20, 30 menit. Biosorben dikarakterisasi menggunakan Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR), dan analisis larutan uji menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Hasil uji adsorpsi menunjukkan waktu optimum adsorpsi dicapai pada 5 menit untuk kedua adsorben. This research has a purpose to determine the water content and protein levels in sausage products. The method used is gravimetric method for water content analysis and kjeldahl method for protein content analysis. Samples were put in oven for 3 hours with temperature 105 oC. From the analysis of samples with gravimetric method, the results obtained water content in chicken sausage products with an average of 51.24%, in the cow sausage with an average of 54.93%, on grilled chicken sausage with an average of 50.23% and in roasted beef sausages with an average of 50.03%. The principle of kjeldahl method uses three stages: destruction, distillation and titration. From the result of kjeldahl sample analysis, the result of protein content in chicken sausage product is 9,91%, at 9,15% for beef sausage, 6.34% for roast chicken sausage and 7.37% for roast beef sausage. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the water and protein content in sausage products have met the standards set at PT. This study aims to determine the total nitrogen content in the fertilizer sample. Analysis of nitrogen content in fertilizers was carried out using the Kjeldahl method. The principle of determining total nitrogen using the Kjeldahl method is that nitrogen in fertilizer samples is hydrolyzed with concentrated sulfuric acid to form ammonium sulfate compounds. The product of the destruction is ammonium sulfate compound which is distilled in an alkaline condition which is then accommodated with boric acid. The resulting distillate is titrated with sulfuric acid solution until a green color changes to pink. The value of phenol was analyzed using NH4OH, K3[Fe(CN)60 and antypyrine. In addition, the value of COD was analyzed usign reagent A (K2Cr2O7, H2SO4 and HgSO4) and reagent B (Ag2SO4 and H2SO4). The analysis were carried out everyday in one month. According to the data, the average phenol level at the final wastewater was 0,32 ppm annd had met the quality standard after the restest on 6th, 17th, 19th and 23 th.
