A data path is established by on-demand manner. Intermediate nodes of the established path have a routing table that has next node information for sending data packets. The primary and backup paths are made as a sequence of route control message exchange process. A backup path is a link-disjoint with the primary path, and can protect node failure by setup options. After detecting a link or node failure, a restoration procedure occurs in each node of the primary path. Proposed scheme uses a one-hop pre-search for finding a backup path. This paper proposes an approach to simultaneously estimate these two quantities by utilizing a reference point spread function (RPSF) as a learning basis in the regularization cycle. This is derived from the behavior of image maxima in the presence of blurs. The extraction of the RPSF is solely dependent on the image and it does not change with respect to the estimated values so a more stable learning process can be achieved. A modified cost function is also used such that the contours of piecewise non- Gaussian blurs are accounted for. This cost function is formulated for color images so that spurious color artifacts can be avoided. Using wireless connection, we designed a cheap and light weight flight control system that controls the helicopter according to the command from the ground laptop computer. The ground computer calculates the control command using the sensor information from the helicopter through wireless connection and sends the command back to the flight control computer. Thus the flight control computer in the helicopter do the role of transmitting sensor information to the ground computer and getting control commands from the ground computer and applying them to the helicopter using servo motors. So a simple 8-bit microprocessor can be used instead of heavy and high cost computing system. The proposed scheme utilizes mobile anchors and is based on ring overlapping. In a wireless sensor network, there are some nodes knowing their locations, which are called the reference nodes, and the other nodes without the knowledge of their locations are called the blind nodes. Based on the relative RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) values, we utilize mobile beacons to find out the rings that are centered with a certain reference node and contain the blind node. These rings are called B-Rings. Since the mobile anchor and the reference node know their own locations, the B-rings can be precisely derived. By utilizing the mobile beacons, the widths of the B-Rings can be further minimized; and then by overlapping them, the location of the blind nodes can be efficiently estimated. Besides, most existing location schemes that utilize mobile anchors let the mobile anchor move randomly. In contrast, we propose a regular and simple movement scheme for the mobile anchor. Thus, the mobile anchor consumes less energy than other schemes in which the mobile anchor move randomly. In this paper, we propose OSGi application framework to effectively provide home network services by using real-time data stream in OSGi applications. Besides, the usage of XML encourages the adaptation of service oriented programming techniques to simplify sensor network application engineering. While the sensor nodes still have significant resource limitations in terms of energy and memory capacity and computational power, recent data management approaches show positive results to bridge this resource gap. Nevertheless, further optimizations are needed to enhance the application range to support larger sets of data within the networks. In this work we present an optimization for a template object compression scheme that is based on a stream-oriented XML compression and supports dynamic data management and query evaluation on the compressed data. We hereby present a complete solution for XML compression, data processing and query evaluation that can be further embedded in the engineering process to support developers. Some models and middleware have been proposed to improve the application of Grid economy. One remarkable result of these is the Grid Architecture for Computational Economy (GRACE) which contains the functionality of resource discovery, resource trade and resource allocation. However, in the model, once the trade is set up in GRACE, there is no way to monitor whether the seller (i.e., resource owner) has provided the services or the buyer (i.e., user) has accepted the services according to their commitment. Some models introduce the reputation evaluation system, but these methods can only affect the future reputation of buyers and sellers as well as the subsequent course of trading, without any binding effect on the ongoing transaction. In the open Grid environment, it's necessary to establish a mechanism of regulating and restricting all of trading activities and participants. Thus a new Grid Market Architecture Based on Contract-management and Third-party Depository Service (GMACD) is proposed in this paper. Here Grid is regarded as a market where each user can be a resource seller as well as a resource buyer as needed. Contract-management mechanism is led into Grid Market (GM) and the Contract Manager (CM) acts as the kernel module of GMACD. As an important part of GMACD, GRACE is still in charge of resource discovery, trade and allocation. The whole process of market transactions is constrained by CM. The Third-party Depository Service is used in order to manage the flow of the contract amount. The components and the workflow of GMACD are discussed in detail in this paper. These tools provide highly precise annotation functionality based on metadata standards such as MPEG-7, but tend to exhibit very complex user interfaces. Effective readability factors encourage more users to engage themselves into mobile internet service. An investigation through relevant literature survey uncovers that a lot of mobile internet issues are still remain unanswered. The objective of this research was to investigate the impacts of font height, display size and difference in language on the readability using the smart phone. The objective and subjective measures were used to determine the readability of both Korean and English users. Significant differences were found in the reading time and difficulty for different font heights and display sizes. In the case of Koreans, display size has more influences than font height. However, English users perceived the font height to be highly crucial in reading difficulty due to the difference in language.
