The shape information of the drug image represented as a signature and HSV color model from the images are used to distinguish a medication from a set of medication images. To retrieve an image from a large image database, we set up a hybrid approach which classifies the medications by shape of the images first and identifies them by color matching from the classified images. As a shape descriptor we use the signature of the medication which is unique according to the boundary of the medication. HS color components are used for retrieving a finally-matched image from a candidate shape class. The proposed system is designed and developed for seniors and people who don't have knowledge about medication to help browsing medication image in a feasible fashion.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114494682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hydrogen energy is a clean and unlimited resource that replaces fossil fuels. However, hydrogen can explode in the density range of 4% to 75% by an ignition source. Therefore, safety devices or safety systems are necessary in the use of hydrogen energy. We aimed to develop a real-time detection module and a real-time monitoring and automation system to prevent gas leak accidents so that hydrogen hydrogen energy can be used safely We have developed a three-part module: Gas Leak Detection, Real-time Monitoring, and Automation Module. The development system consists of a high-performance sensor that is based on multi-walled carbon nanotubes, a sensor controller with a wireless.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114752619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rapidly growing demand for collaboration among numerous and heterogeneous business applications draws attention to this kind of framework, especially in the ubiquitous computing environment. The XCREAM framework gathers massive events from a variety of event sources and distributes them to the appropriate service parties depending on the predefined business scenarios. The scenarios are written in the XLogic script language and registered to the XCREAM framework. The paper includes simulation result which shows excellence in performance and validity of collaboration suppport of the XCREAM. The proposed modem is implemented in Altera EP3C16E144C8 device, together with an 8-bit ADC and a BPF. It operates at variable data rates of 9.6, 38.4, and 115.2 kbps based on the OOK modulation scheme. The carrier frequency of the OOK modulated signals is 2.176 MHz. The modem is fully compliant with the 3GPP and AISG standards. To show the validity of the proposed AISG modem, the modem is implemented in FPGA and its functionality is verified using the verification scenario of 3GPP and AISG standards. The proposed AISG modem consumes 0.41 W and 0.6 W with DC power supplies of 10 V and 32 V, respectively. The measured transmit power level is +3.3 dBm, and the measured return loss in pass-band is more than 10 dB. The duty cycle variations for data rates of 9.6, 38.4, and 115.2 kbps are less than ±1 %, ±2 %, and ±4 %, respectively.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"185 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121361409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Combining with cloud computing that is becoming increasingly popular for scalability and availability it promises, called Sensor-Cloud, there are many approaches that improve data delivery issues in such scenario efficiently. However, there are few approaches that consider secure data delivery while security plays an important role in Sensor-Cloud. Hybrid automaton is widely used to model discrete and continuous behaviors of hybrid systems. In this paper, a hybrid interface automaton(HIA) is proposed based on hybrid automaton to model the interface behaviors of hybrid components. According to the interface type of components, we define two kinds of HIA to model interface behaviors respectively. The RHIA(Reactive HIA) is used to model the interface behavior of reactive component and AHIA(Active HIA) for active components. In addition, some composition operations for component interface models are given to facilitate component based software development. The main contribution is to describing a composable model of component interfaces with formal methods, which allows static compatibility checking for some kinds of components composition with their interface models. To illustrate the approach, a case study railroad gate control of CBTC is discussed.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131267619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One main reason is that there exists nondeterminism in both the specifications and the corresponding programs. For this reason, it is not easy to generate test cases on the basis of a specification, the execution of a test case may not follow a specification trace (or scenario) as expected, and the testing result may be different from the expected one. This paper describes an approach to using SOFL specifications to test concurrent software systems. SOFL is one of the few specification languages supporting incorporating formal descriptions into the practical specification construction process. SOFL specification integrates data f low diagrams, Petri nets and VDM-SL. The approach proposed in this paper advocates the idea of selecting from a formalized data f low diagram of a SOFL specification a set of specification traces based on which test cases can be generated. We also discuss in this paper the testing strategies, coverage criteria, and method for testing of concurrent software systems, and describe an example of generation of test cases for an online shopping system in order to demonstrate the usability of the approach in practice.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127694034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
