The latter had used the entire Power Spectrum components for visualization purposes to produce 2D representations of each subset of the data. With the feasibility of obtaining a smaller representation of the data set in obtaining better cluster models compared to using the original n-dimensions, we now explore this feasibility for visualization purposes. We propose an algorithm that determines, in quantitative terms, how good the selected set of signatures represents the nD data set in 2 dimensions. We use the Vector Fusion visualization algorithm in transforming each signature from its n dimensions into 2 dimensions. An improved set of qualitative criterion is drawn to measure the goodness of the 2D data signature-based visual representation of the original nD data set. Finally, we provide empirical testing and discuss the results.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125127757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, many users do not gain high quality social media services due to the fact that mobile devices have bad performance of hardware. In order to overcome the limitation of hand devices, most providers are applying cloud computing techniques, especially virtualization to SNS. In this paper, we propose multi-agent model for virtualization resource configuration that automatically allocates service resources suitable for mobile devices in cloud computing environment. The proposed model infers user on-demand by analyzing and learning user context information. In addition, multi-agent model allocates service resources depending on types of usage so that users can utilize reliable service resources.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126649070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Just like path oriented testing technique in structure testing area, this testing method focuses on finding the logical error in the process implementation according to the formal business process presentation. The test cases against a node of process designed by the techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning and so on, may not easily find the errors in the special business process tends. These test cases are modeled as TCN (Test Cases Nets) with a CPN (Colored Petri Nets) in this paper. The BPSN (Business Process Scenario Net) is built by composing the existing TCN. The generation technique of the test scenario for basis path testing for a business process according to the BPSN is discussed. We exemplify our approach in an ATM system that has a rich set of interactions with its users.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114601249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, various UPnP services developed for the devices. In home network environment, user needs continual UPnP service. However, the services based on UPnP are not provided continually, because of imperfect matching among the heterogeneous devices. To solve these problems, this paper proposes an automated method of matching for UPnP devices for user mobility and continual UPnP service in home network and cloud computing environments. The proposed method of automated device matching uses a mobile agent for providing reliable QoS in real-time. The mobile agent regularly searches for UPnP devices in the home network. In addition, the searched device information is registered in control system by mobile agent that monitors state of the searched device. Users use the service that is allocated from mobile agent in real-time when users access home network. To provide QoS to interdevice, mobile agent analyses relationship between user device and service device. Then, the mobile agent connect user device with service device which has high priority. Thus, user can use continual service in different environments.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128058718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, we consider small indoor space such as vehicular scenes and develop a two-step procedure in which statistical mapping of acoustic features is followed by abnormal event detection. In the first step, Mel- Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) feature set is used to construct a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) for acoustic event mapping and log-likelihood ratio is used for confidence measure to correct misrecognition over vocal/nonvocal regions. In the 2nd step, an abnormal event is determined using maximum likelihood estimation approach wherein the ratio of abnormal events to cumulative events during an analysis window is compared to a threshold. For performance evaluation, we employ a statistically meaningful database of normal and abnormal acoustic events in actual indoor scenes of two representative scenarios. Subsequent experiments demonstrate a performance of 91% correct detection rate for abnormal context and 2.5% of error detection rate, which indicates it promising for real world vehicular acoustic surveillance applications.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131705195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current law enforcement of dealing with the meth abuse is by 'fire fighting' strategy, that is, to direct the enforcement to the location after the problem occurs. A better strategy is to develop a proactive predictive model based strategy. This study attempts to develop a model to predict the risk of meth production for the seven most severe states in USA. Modern data mining supervised modeling techniques, including Decision Tree, Generalized Logistic Regression and Neural Network are applied to model the risk level of meth at the block group geographical area. The final best model found is a neural network model. The prediction accuracy is found at 87.5%. Fourteen important inputs are identified, which are further classified into three factor groups: culture, socio-economic and geographical factor groups. It is found that the culture factors, which reflects the specific behavioral models of people, are the most important for contributing to the risk of meth, and that the meth production activity is highly associated with crimes.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128868874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Service identification is one of the core activities in developing service systems. To identify proper services, business requirements and business change factors should be analyzed since the ultimate aim of a service system is to achieve business goals and business agility. We propose a service identification method based on scenario modeling and value co-creation. The approach also takes into consideration IT convergence to provide good customer experience and elicit possible business changes.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115234882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On contrary, in this paper, we study the performance of the cooperative transmission from different perspectives such as system throughput and fairness. We consider a three-node system that consists of two source nodes, which can choose to either cooperate with each other or not to transmit their data, and one destination node. Based on this system, we study the conditions under which the cooperative transmission is beneficial to improve system throughput and satisfy the fairness requirement between source nodes.","PeriodicalId":338211,"journal":{"name":"2011 First ACIS/JNU International Conference on Computers, Networks, Systems and Industrial Engineering","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124540521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
