However, digitalization may be seen as a solution to this crisis for some companies. This process of using digital technologies to adapt to new market requirements is known as digital transformation. This process is normally taking years, but currently, some sources report years' worth of digital transformation in the space of just a few months. However, some firms digitized and automated many of their processes and some only the minimum required to continue to function during the pandemic, which is indicative of their degree of digital transformation. This study attempts to illustrate how the degree of digital transformation affected the impact of COVID-19 on firm performance. To do this, we collected data via survey. This data was then analyzed using factor analysis techniques and structural equation modelling. The results suggest that the degree of digital transformation facilitated the digital transition during the pandemic but did not show any signs of alleviating the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on firm performance.","PeriodicalId":338167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management and Human Sciences","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130198160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the Libyan education sector, the current study investigates the impact of forced downsizing techniques on job satisfaction. The research sample was drawn from few divisions from the ministry of education located in different parts in Tripoli, Libya. A total of 258 completed surveys were gathered, producing a 73.7 percent response rate. The results show that downsizing has a detrimental impact on survivors' work satisfaction and morale. Based on the conclusion made, policymakers in Libyan education sector must support survivors more dynamically with respect to their upcoming prospects since downsizing was found to have an influence on their job satisfaction","PeriodicalId":338167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management and Human Sciences","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123358569","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are usually relatively less palatable than other commercial fruits. Minor fruits generally have lesser demand in the market. They are usually very resilient and can adapt to the local climate. Literature review reveals that minor edible fruits play a vital role as food and medicine. Along with humans, many birds and animals eat these minor fruits. These minor fruits are part of our indigenous fruit legacy. Sometimes these minor fruits are sold in temporary shops by individuals who bring them from the districts into the city. Documentation of the minor edible fruits in different areas will help in making a comprehensive database of these underutilised fruits in local areas. There need to be extensive awareness drives so that the urban population becomes aware of the nutritional status of these minor fruits. Awareness drives need documentation of existing minor fruit diversity first. This paper is a documentation of the minor edible fruits sold in Phoolbagan near Gurudas College.","PeriodicalId":338167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management and Human Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129666104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
