In the natural environment, the most dangerous contaminants of feed are mycotoxins, which negatively affect the health and productivity of animals. Ozone is a powerful oxidizer that has strong disinfectant properties, is capable of destroying microorganisms while being environmentally friendly and safe. The effect of the ozone-air mixture used for the decontamination of the feed on its nutritional and sanitary quality was evaluated. The studies were conducted at the poultry farm of Kodyma LLC of the Kodyma District of Odesa region in a poultry house with a total livestock of 5 000 heads on laying hens of Isabraun cross. Used a corona discharge ozonizer, the technological process of detoxification of feed included purging the ozone-air mixture of feed in the hopper. Two feed processing modes with different durations (t = 10 min and 60 min) and ozone concentration in the mixtures used (C = 0.1 g/m3 and 1 g/m3) were selected. In the experimental samples of feed was determined: the number of mesophilic aerobic and optional anaerobic microorganisms, the presence of bacteria paratyphoid group (salmonella), the presence of enteropathogenic strains of E. coli, the number of micromycetes. Determination of the microflora of the test samples was carried out by conventional methods. It is established that the ozone-air mixture does not affect the nutritional and total energy value of the compound feed. Microbiological studies have found that the total number of microorganisms in the compound feed treated with the ozone-air mixture was significantly lower than in the conventional compound feed. It was found that as a result of the ozone-air mixture the number of mesophilic aerobic and optional anaerobic microorganisms in the compound feed decreased by 99.9 %, micromycetes (fungi and yeast) were not detected. The use of environmentally friendly energy-saving technologies, including the processing of the ozone-air mixture for decontamination during storage, processing of grain, for the production of grain products and compound feeds is relevant. Ozone exerts an activating effect on protein feed structures, enhancing the absorption of amino acids by proteins. In recent years a diversity of researchings both native and foreign scientists has been devoted to the investigation of animal tuberculosis. However, there are a number of questions required more detailed studying and scientific justification. Among involved questions specific place is occupied by the problem of animal immunity in cases of infection by pathogenic and atypical mycobacteria. The aim of our work was to study the influence of pathogenic and atypical mycobacteria on the immune status of laboratory animals. The influence of pathogenic and atypical mycobacteria on the immune status of guinea pigs was studied by infecting them with a suspension from the bacterial mass of each individual mycobacterial culture (M. bovis, M. avium and M. fortuitum). The suspension was prepared at the rate of 1.0 mg / ml of sterile NaCl and injected subcutaneously into animals at a dose of 1.0 ml. Blood samples were taken on the 7th, 14th, 30th and 60th days after the injection of mycobacterial cultures to determine the most informative indicators of the immunological status of animals. Amount of neutrophils and phagocytic activity were determined in the blood of experimental animals. The total protein level was determined spectrophotometrically in the serum of guinea pigs, the level of circulating immune complexes (CIC) of average molecular weight – by the method of Grinevich & Alferov, seromukoida – by Weimer & Moshin. The data obtained that M. bovis caused the biggest growth in some cellular and humoral immunity indicate (the percentage of neutrophils by 28.6% and their phagocytic activity by 15.8%, the level of total protein is 76.13 g/l, circulating immune complexes 0.190 mg/ml and seromukoids per day 7 (0.099 mg/ml) on the 30th day after infection in comparison with animals of the control group. The products of wheat processing remain for many peoples as one of the main sources of nutrients, essential minerals and heavy metals. Groats are the second largest product of wheat (after flour), and therefore it is expedient to determine the content of certain minerals in it. The purpose of the work was to determine the content of certain minerals in wheat groats and the level of heavy metals in it. To do this, samples of wheat groats of various types and brands were selected in the trading network: “Artek. Svoya liniya”, “Poltavska No 3. Zernari” and “Artek. Rozumnyj vybir”, in which determined the content of crude ash after dry mineralization, as well as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, manganese, cobalt, zinc, copper, lead and cadmium by atomic absorption and colorimetric methods. The determination of each indicator was performed in three parallel replications, and the difference between the obtained mean values was determined in accordance with the Duncan multiple test using the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 program. It was found that wheat groats “Artek” of different brands had no differences in the content of ash (1.27–1.32%), whereas in the groats “Poltavska No 3” was significantly lower the level of crude ash and phosphorus. It was determined that wheat groats of different brands and types did not differ according to the concentration of calcium (0.38–0.39 g/kg), magnesium (0.63–0.66 g/kg), iron (32.5–33.4 mg/kg) and manganese (17.4–20.5 mg/kg). The lowest content among investigated essential elements in wheat groats was found for cobalt, which varied in the range of 0.07–0.10 mg/kg. In the groats “Artek” concentration of copper and zinc did not differ significantly and was 3.96–4.48 mg/kg and 31.1–33.0 mg/kg, respectively. The lowest content of copper was in the groats “Poltavska No 3” – 2.58 mg/kg, as well as zinc – 16.2 mg/kg. The tuberculosis of cattle remains a serious problem both in Ukraine and for the whole world for many years. In spite of the fact that in science now much known about the agent of tuberculosis, some of the mechanisms through which mycobacteria manage to survive in the conditions of macroorganism and the environment have not been studied. Difficulties in overcoming of tuberculosis and mycobacteriosis can be connected with the incredible plasticity of life processes within the bacterial cells of mycobacteria. Understanding the enzymatic processes in the bacterial cell and their changes in response to the influence of external factors can lead to an understanding of the complex mechanism of adaptation and survival of mycobacteria, both in macroorganism and in the environment. The aim of our research was to determine the influence of the number passage of high-resistance strain Mycobacterium bovis in the organism of guinea pigs ( Cavia porcellus ), the temperature of cultivation (3°C; 37°C) on changes in biochemical activity. The ability of M. bovis and dissociative forms to grow on a nutrient medium with addition of sodium salicylate and on usual nutrient media (meat-peptone extract and meat-peptone agar) was investigated. The research was carried out using the high-virulence strain M. bovis , which was stored in the museum of the Laboratory of the Department of epizootology and infectious diseases of Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University during 10–13 years, as well as dissociative forms 117-a, b, v, 118. The results of the research indicate the ability of mycobacteria to change biochemical activity under the influence of external factors. It has been established that the number of passages through a dense egg nutrient medium does not have a direct effect on the enzymatic activity of M. bovis . In dissociative forms with increasing number of inoculation of subcultures, the activity of nitrate reductase increases and peroxidase activity, dehydrogenase activity and catalase activity decrease. It has been found that low positive culturing temperature (3 ºС) contributes to increase of catalase activity and hydrolysis ability of Tween-80. It has been determined that after passage through the organism of guinea pigs, M. bovis increase the activity of dehydrogenase and catalase and reduce nitrate reductase activity and hydrolysis ability of TWIN-80. A large percentage of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises specializes in the rearing of the cattle. Factors that impede the successful production of livestock products and cause damage to farms include the spread of helminthic diseases, in particular, trichurosis of the cattle. Therefore, it is relevant to determine the optimal dose of domestic anthelmintics, which will have not only therapeutic efficacy, but also will be economically beneficial when used in the enterprise. For the study, 5 groups of heifers 6–18 months of age were formed, which used the preparations promectin 1% and albentabs 360 according to different schemes. The therapeutic and economic efficiency of the above-mentioned preparations under different methods of their application to cattle for trichurosis is investigated. It is established that when treating promectin 1% trichurosis of cattle, according to different regimens, the extensiveness and intensity efficiency of the drug was 100%. The average daily live weight gain in the use of this medicinal preparation once increased by 90%, compared with live weight gains before treatment, the economic efficiency of 1 UAH expenditures was 71 UAH, and for double application – the average daily weighting increased by 152%, the cost effectiveness of 1 UAH expenditurs was 32 UAH. The use of albentabs 360 once did not give the desired therapeutic efficacy – the extensiveness and intensity efficiency of intervention were 40 and 69%, the average daily live weight gain increased by 158%, compared with increments before treatment, and economic efficiency by 1 UAH expenditures was 185.5 UAH. The use of albentabs 360 for two consecutive days gave 100 extensiveness and intensive efficiency, the average daily live weight gains increased by 181%, compared with live weight gains before treatment, and the cost-effectiveness of 1 UAH expenditures was 105.4 UAH. The big demand for sour milk products, including yoghurt, requires use of raw materials of good quality. However, the factors in milk that have negative effect on microorganisms in yoghurt ferment, need application of biotechnological methods for their immobilization. For the study a modified gelatin was used, on which various doses of yoghurt ferment were immobilized (from 5 mg to 100 mg) being dissolved in different dissolvent volumes (0.2 cm 3 , 0.3 cm 3 and 0.4 cm 3 ) of distilled water. The carrier’s mass remained constant: 1000 mg. The fresh preparations were immediately dried out by means of active ventilation and mixing. The humidity content in immobilized ferments was investigated after 15 min of drying as well as the time of drying out for reaching the humidity level of 7–9%. It was experimentally found out that the humidity of the yoghurt ferment immobilized on modified gelatin (with application of 0,2 cm 3 dissolvent) was about 11.5–12.6% after 15 min drying. The humidity of the ferments immobilized by 0.3 and 0.4 cm 3 distilled water after 15 min drying was correspondingly 17.2% – 18.3% and 22.4% – 24.8%. The increase of distilled water volume for dissolving different doses of ferment resulted, after 15 min drying, into increase of humidity in the preparations accordingly up to 22.4% – 24.8% of the total mass. During works on the immobilization technology of microorganisms’ cells in yoghurt ferment on modified gelatin, it was found that the quickest drying of preparations (32.4–37.2 min) occurred with application of 0.2 cm 3 dissolvent per 1 g of carrier. The augmentation of dissolvent volume to 0.3 cm 3 resulted into increase of drying time up to 43.5–54.2 min. The drying of immobilized ferment samples to the humidity level of 7–9% with application of 0.4 cm3 distilled water lasted more than one hour. It was proved that the more ferment mass was immobilized on modified gelatin, the more was the drying time of preparations. The utilization of the grooming in animal husbandry is conditioned by economic or technological requiurements or by means of breed and exterior peculiarites. The main aspects and peculiarities of the utilization of the horses grooming of Ukrainian equestrian breed in the autumn and winter period are elucidated. For the research, three groups of the young horses of 6 in each, analogues by age (5–6 years) and sex (3 geldings and 3 stallions in the group) were formed. For the horses of the group I has been used the grooming type «Postromkovy», for the group II – «Gunter», and animals of the group III were uncut. The research were conducted from October to December 2019, inclusive, when the young horses were subjected to individual training daily in two phases: Phase 1 – 2 km route with 10 obstacles; Phase 2 – 1 km route with 5 obstacles. The effectiveness of the research was determined by the results of the training of the horses (the speed of the route and the number of penalty marks obtained), their physiological indices of health (body temperature, pulse, number of respiratory movements per minute) and the rate of drying of the hair growth after loading. It was established, that after average loading, the hair growth of the animals of the groups I and II by 25.4 and 99.6 % dried faster compared to the group III with uncut hair growth. After intensive loading, the difference in these indices was 24.7 % and 65.6 % in favor of the animals of the group I and the group II. The animals of the grooming type «Gunter» for hair growth drying after medium loading needed 50.4 minutes and after intensive loading 90.9 minutes, which was less by 59.1 % and 32.8 % than the corresponding loading of animals of the group I with grooming type «Postromkovy». Individual training showed, that the animals of the group III had lower endurance and speed compared to the horses born in the same year of the group I and the group II. The experimental sheared horses of the group I and II were by 12.1 % and by 4.5 % faster traversed I phase of the route and by 7.0 and by 9.7 % 2 phase of the route, respectively, than the animals of the group III. In addition, the animals in the group I and the group II had fewer penalty marks during the passing of competitions than the animals born in the same year of the group III. During training immediately after medium loading, the body temperature of the animals of the group I and II was 39.3 0C and 39.0 0C, respectively, which is by 0.1 0C and 0.4 0C less than the horses born in the same year of the group III. After intense loading, the difference in this index was 0.4 0C and 0.5 0C, respectively, in favor of sheared animals of the group I and the group II. The rabbit organism has physiological and biological features that stipulate certain requirements for the realization of their genetic potential, which is not always possible to fully ensure in today’s production realities. In particular, such peculiarities as growthiness and prolificacy, predetermine the intensive development of the rabbit organism in the early stages of the postnatal period of ontogenesis. The intensification of technological processes in rabbits leads to the search of such feed additives that have adaptogenic influence on the body of rabbits. In the article the results of hematological blood examinations of rabbits of the Hyplus breed of two-month – old against the background of the use of the biologically active feed additive «Humilid» are presented. The control and experimental group of animals of 8 in each was formed by the principle of similar groups. The rabbits of both groups were in the same feeding and holding conditions. During 21 days to the rabbits of the experimental group were given Humilid at a rate of 5 mg/kg individually, together with water. The blood was collected from the rabbits on an empty stomach, at the beginning of the experiment and at 14-, 21-, 35-days of the examination. In the blood an amount of leucocytes and erythrocytes, haemoglobin level, hematocrit were determined, the leukocytic formula have been derived. In accordance with the results of the investigations, it was established that the use of Humilid for two-month-old rabbits of the breed Hyplus for 21 days of giving the biologically active additive leads to an increase in hemoglobin level by 13.3 %, the number of red blood cells by 16.0 % and the hematocrit by 15.0 %. Also, adding of Humilid to the diet of experimental animals leads to an increase in the blood of number of neutrophils by 30.7 % and a decrease in the number of eosinophils by 29.0 %. The study of the dynamics of the area of the lymphoid formations of the intestine was carried out using the technique of total staining by Helman. The topographic, macrostructural and microstructural features of lymphoid formations associated with the intestinal mucous membranes of neonatal and mammary piglets and the absolute and relative area of lymphoid formations in pigs of different ages were determined. It is established that the intestinal lymphoid tissue of piglets is diffusely located cells of the lymphoid row and their layers in the form of clusters of diffuse lymphoid tissue, lymph nodes are grouped in the small intestine and are solitary in thickness. The microscopic structure of the aggregated nodules is characterized by the presence of group lymphoepithelial nodules and diffuse lymphocytic-tissue complex associated with the structural components of the submucosa and mucous membrane. The lymph nodes are located in the submucosal base, and their dome is in its own lining of the mucosa. The structure of the lymphoid nodule includes cells of the lymphoid row, and the dome zone contacts the structural components of the interstitial diffuse lymphocytic-tissue complex. In lymphoid tissue, lighter areas are found – herminative reproduction centers, where cells are more loose. The number of these centers throughout the gut is unevenly distributed. Intestinal associated lymphoid tissue in piglets during morphogenesis has its own topographic features. Most lymphoid tissue in the small intestine is in the ileum, especially in its caudal region, and in the thick in the colon, where the number of lymphoid formations increases proportionally in the caudal direction. In the empty gut, the largest area of lymphoid formations also occurs in the caudal region.
