Up to first order, the fields and propagation constants of the modes are obtained, neglecting the coupling to higher TE and TM modes. Based on this result, the scattering matrix of a FCL structure with a given finite length is calculated. Simple relations which connect the nonreciprocal behavior with the geometrical design parameters and the ferrite material properties are found. The authors present a method by which SPICE compatible lumped equivalent circuit can be extracted from two-dimensional FEM simulation of transmission line interconnects in a fast and efficient manner. The lumped parameters of the transmission line are obtained by applying a certain type of moment matching to the FEM results. An improved experimental characterization of the scheme is presented with results from several amplifiers working at X-band, confirming the validity of the approach with more than 25 dB of noise cancellation for both white and flicker noise. This mode suppression is achieved by optimizing the length of an open-end microstrip line connected to the excitation-coupled lines of the filter. In this algorithm, an output signal of the power amplifier (PA) is used as a reference signal. Additionally, reference signal is divided by the coefficient of the LUT, so that the characteristics of the PA, such as temperature dependence, do not have influence on the convergence performances. The proposed algorithm is presented and the convergence condition is derived analytically. From the ADPD simulation, we present that the proposed algorithm is more stable than the conventional normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm. The propagation constants of different modes propagating along the multi-conductor transmission line must be different using this method. However, in general multi-port networks, the propagating constants at each port may be equal. We here then present the thru-line symmetry (TLS) calibration method for the calibration of the equal propagation constant case. The calibration equations with the associated calibrators for on-wafer scattering matrix measurement of four-port network are developed. The measured scattering matrix of a branch line coupler using proposed calibration method shows good agreement with simulation. Simultaneous dielectric and UV/VIS spectroscopy measurements were obtained by attaching the slot antenna to a fused-quartz UV/VIS sample holder. Similar thermodynamic parameters (midpoint temperature and enthalpy) were obtained from both techniques over a wide concentration range and under a variety of pH condition. In this study, the NF/sub min/ can be continuously reduced to 0.13 /spl mu/m technology node (80 nm gate length) by optimizing finger number and channel width. Excellent NF/sub min/ of only 0.87 dB is measured with 4/spl mu/m finger width and multiple 72 fingers. In addition, high associated gain (22.5dB), low RF noise (1.0 dB), and low power can be simultaneously achieved in 0.13 /spl mu/m mode MOSFETs using only 6 fingers that is impossible in 0.18/spl mu/m case.
