Kazakov","doi":"10.18384/2310-7189-2019-1-92-102","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18384/2310-7189-2019-1-92-102","url":null,"abstract":"The paper provides an overview of existing attempts in the Russian economic geography to develop an approach to the study of such a suburbanization phenomenon as a “dacha” (summer residence). It is noted that the vast majority of these studies were performed on the basis of the Moscow metropolitan region or other major regional centers. A geographical study of summer (second) residences around provincial regional centers has not yet been undertaken. The work reveals the peculiarities of the history of the emergence and territorial location of gardening partnerships around the city of Kursk. The developed typology of land use and functional micro-zoning of a typical suburban area are presented. Particular attention is paid to the methods of economic and geographical study of summer cottages, among which, depending on the scale of the study, use is made of desk-based, based on the interpretation of remote sensing images and the analysis of “fuzzy data”, and field (expeditionary) techniques, primarily the method of “key surveys”. © CC BY Казаков С. The purpose of the research is to describe the tourism framework development of the Ryazan region during the last 50 years. The study is based on the system structural analysis, spatiotemporal and spatiofunctional approaches. The definition of the tourism support framework is presented, the ways of classifying tourism space structures are considered and the polycentric hierarchical structure of tourism space of the Ryazan region is described. The study revealed sev-eral factors that influence the tourism support framework in the region. The forecast of its development is presented. An analysis of the origin and current state, as well as the prospects for further development of the tourism support framework of the Ryazan region, allows us to conclude about its stability. The formal logical method and the methods of comparative and institutional analysis are used in the research. It is shown that the experience gained in the development of ecotourism accumulated by different countries demonstrates country specificity and general approaches harmonized with international recommendations and tasks on creating conditions for sustainable development of tourism. The study is based on the concept of a cluster approach to the development of the tourism industry. The system of financing tourist-recreational and auto-tourist clusters is presented in connection with the actual results achieved during the implementation of the program. A comprehensive assessment of tourist clusters in the region is performed using the method of classification indicators and integral criteria. The paper studies the allocation of tourism and recreational regions in Sevastopol. The territorial analysis of the Sevastopol tourism infrastructure is performed. The tourist accommodation infrastructure (2528), the transport network, the historical and cultural monuments (1360), the natural sights (14), the theaters, and the entertainment centers, etc., are mapped. The levels of the territory infrastructure development are determined (very high, high, medium, and low). The tourism and recreational centers are determined. The cores of tourist and recreational activities with the prevailing types of tourism are identified. Nine types of Sevastopol tourism and recreational regions are allocated.
