With a view to the requirement of information exchanging between public and enterprise component libraries, this paper introduces connectivity technology which is related to component library, and then schemes out the connective framework, exchanging modes and a data model for exchanging. It brings much convenience for supplying enterprise user individualized service, and makes a solid foundation for building a connective system between distributed component libraries in a larger scope.","PeriodicalId":333889,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Internet Computing in Science and Engineering","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117035955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing techniques use received signal strength from different access points in an equal way. However, signals sent from the far access point experience more influence of the environmental noises, and more uncertainties are added in the signal strength. As detectable access points have different distance to the user, their contributions to the final estimation should be considered discriminatingly. In this paper, a novel location estimation approach is proposed using the Dempster-Shafer evidence theory to fuse received signal strength from multiple access points with different belief. We elaborate on three key problems during applying the Dempster-Shafter evidence theory. The approach has been implemented in a practical wireless network and experimental results indicate that it is feasible in both accuracy and locating time. An average location estimation error below 2 meters can be obtained.","PeriodicalId":333889,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Internet Computing in Science and Engineering","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131070621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But to guarantee success of the virtual organization, sharing knowledge among the participating enterprises becomes a critical problem. At present, the representation of knowledge varies in different enterprises, which makes sharing knowledge difficult. In order to solve this problem, a knowledge management and share framework oriented to virtual organizations is proposed in this thesis and a corresponding support system named VOK share is designed and developed. It is shown in practice that the system is able to solve the problem of knowledge sharing among enterprises in certain virtual organizations and improves cooperation among those enterprises.","PeriodicalId":333889,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Internet Computing in Science and Engineering","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114743793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, simulation results based on existing mobility models have the unrealistic movement scenarios which may not correctly reflect true MANET performance. Secondly, it is difficult to identify MANET topology under these models due to phantasmagoric movements. This paper presents the circle movement mobility model (CMMM), which is superior to previous models, and its topology identification algorithm to characterize the dynamic MANET topology. Moreover, we present a loss inferring algorithmic based on modeling and computational methodology of factor graphs, which iteratively updates the estimates of link losses. The inference is a process based on unicast back-to-back packets probes sent from a sender to pairs of receivers. Without internal nodes' cooperations, the inference can be calculated using only information recorded at the end hosts. NS2 simulations show that the proposed algorithms exhibit good performance.","PeriodicalId":333889,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Internet Computing in Science and Engineering","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126958306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
