This paper proposes a distributed approach of intelligent network traffic monitoring and anomaly detection system. By utilizing a distributed client-server scheme, our proposed system can monitor multiple network segments and distribute the workload among the intelligent clients to monitor and detect anomaly. In this way, the complexity of having analyzing enormous traffic at once can be reduced. This application uses proxies during the transmission to adapt the video (changing the size, the frame rate and/or the encoding format). Adaptation is a necessity in this kind of application, due to the diversity of receivers (computers, mobile phones, PDA...). During the design process, we chose to use component oriented programming and multi-agent systems. We present here how these two paradigms help us to have a flexible and evaluative application, and, for each transmission's step, what is the most appropriated solution. There are currently more than one standard for signaling and control of Internet telephone calls. Some of them, which widely used are RSW control protocol and the IETF session initiation protocol (SIP). Both protocols provide comparable functionality using different mechanisms and provide similar quality of service. Although there are numerous industry debates about the merits of the two protocols, the truth is that both of them, along with other complementary protocols, are necessary to provide universal access and to support IP-based enhanced services. Both protocols have been widely deployed, so interworking between RSW and SIP is essential to ensure full end-to-end connectivity. Because of the inherent differences between RSW and SIP, accommodation must be made to allow interworking between the two protocols. The work reported in this paper proposes a communication translation protocol to bridge the RSW control protocol and SIP control protocol. This communication translation protocol has to provide a set of rules to enable communications between the RSW control criteria and SIP standards. Every mobile node is a host as well as a router. Nodes are able to communicate with neighboring nodes either one hop away or a few hops away from the source node. In order to allow the pair of nodes that are a few hops away to communicate, the data is relayed through intermediate nodes. As the network size grows, the performance of the transmission will be degraded due to network congestion and network splitting. The density and the mobility factors may influence the scalability of the ad hoc routing protocols. This paper investigates the scalability of the ad hoc routing protocols towards sparse networks, dense networks and combination of sparse and dense networks. Two different categories of ad-hoc wireless networks is used to evaluate how scalable they are for various scenarios. This work presents the different steps of such a process. We detail in this paper the segmentation step by describing the different used methods in the literature and propose a hybrid approach that can be integrated in our system. We use three different methods of automatic segmentation based on thresholding, morphology functions and active contours (snakes). The malignancy signs are quantified in a set of parameters that summarize the geometric and photometric characteristics of the lesion. Parameters the more robust and most discriminative have been kept for the classification. These parameters constitute the entry of the stage of classification by neural network. This paper proposes a novel admission control algorithm for TDD-CDMA in order to decrease the cross-slot interference. The novel admission control deal with each user in different slots: for user with high transmission power, the algorithm will first allocate the non cross-slot to it; while for user with low transmission power, the algorithm will allocate cross-slot to it. With Monte Carlo method, we simulate the novel admission control algorithm. The simulation results show that this paper proposed admission control has better performance than other admission control in TDD-CDMA. And the performance of proposed admission control is related to transmission power threshold. So in order to support a cooperative platform among agents is necessary to share the knowledge domain and to make easy the administration of the ontologies repositories. This kind of role is carry out by an ontology agent, which receives demands of specific services from the agents of the MAS, deals with them and responds with the appropriate message. Therefore in this work is depicted a methodology for building ontology agents that are encoded as Web services to federate functionalities regarding to the administration of ontologies through the Internet. The aim of this work is to investigate the better type of wavelet and its optimal potential level of decomposition that gives us better detection. Our algorithm consists of four steps: First, dimension reduction is performed on the mammography images to delimitate the ROI (region of interest). Second, microcalcification profiles are extracted from digital mammograms. Next, a 1-D WT with different families of wavelet is applied on the signal up to the sixth level. Finally, comparison between details coefficients of each level is done to carry out the optimal level.
