Because of the inherent differences between RSW and SIP, accommodation must be made to allow interworking between the two protocols. The work reported in this paper proposes a communication translation protocol to bridge the RSW control protocol and SIP control protocol. This communication translation protocol has to provide a set of rules to enable communications between the RSW control criteria and SIP standards.
