Development is the result of the interaction of the maturity of the central nervous system with the organs it affects. The development of the early phase in the form of cognitive, motor, emotional, social, and language functional abilities, is a determinant of the development of the next phase. If there is a deficiency in one aspect of development, it can affect other aspects, so there is a need for early detection of toddler growth and development.Purpose: This study aimed to find out the need for KPSP applications in monitoring the growth and development of toddlers.Methods: This research uses a descriptive-analytic design, cross-sectional approach. The population of this study amounted to 36 respondents, with a purposive sampling technique. The research site is in the Surabaya area by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Form. Analyze data with Descriptive Analysis.Results: The results of this study stated that before the pandemic monitoring of toddler growth and development was carried out at the Posyandu using the KIA Handbook Instrument/Tool, while during the pandemic monitoring of toddler growth and development could not be carried out directly because of a policy. In this regard, respondents need an instrument/tool that can be used for independent monitoring of growth and development.Conclusion: Monitoring the growth and development of toddlers during the pandemic by utilizing technological advances and being up to date","PeriodicalId":33236,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing Practice","volume":"78 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84661547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thematic synthesis following PRISMA guidelines.  Results: Four themes emerged from the thematic synthesis.  The main themes included decision making challenges, communication with healthcare professionals, parents’ support system, and grief. Parents were included in most studies. However, the number of mothers exceeded the number of fathers.  Some researchers mentioned that there was no difference between their participants (most participants were Caucasian).  Conclusion: There is limited information available about children and their family members’ experiences at EOL/ EOLC in Saudi Arabia as has been studied in other countries.  Based on this systematic review, more studies are needed related to children at EOL in Saudi Arabia.        ","PeriodicalId":33236,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing Practice","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84128639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia in Indonesian pregnant women is 50.5%. In West Kalimantan from 2014 to 2016 there was an increase in anemia reaching 5.74%. Knowledge is one of the factors in the formation of health behavior. Pregnant women are given iron (fe) added tablets every day during pregnancy or at least 90 tablets. Purpose The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of anemia in the Tanjung Hulu Public Health Center, Pontianak City in 2021. Methods This study used a descriptive analytic research design with a cross sectional design approach with a sample of 30 respondents. Result Based on the univariate analysis, it was found that 12 (40%) pregnant women had good knowledge and 12 (40%) pregnant women had sufficient knowledge and only 6 people (20%) had less knowledge about anemia. A total of 26 (86.7%) were obedient in consuming Fe tablets and only 4 (13.3%) pregnant women were not compliant in taking FE tablets. The results of bivariate analysis with rank spaerment correlation found that the significance value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.008. Experience is a very dynamic, complex and subjective phenomenon. One of the treatments for cancer patients is chemotherapy.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of nurses in implementing intravenous chemotherapy treatment programs in cancer patients.Methods: This study uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach model to understand one's life experience and existing perceptions. The sampling technique used snow ball sampling. In this study, researchers will perform a snow ball sampling technique of participants who are at the Dr. Soedarso General Hospital. A total of ten nurses who work in the chemotherapy room participated.Result: The perception of nurses in providing intravenous chemotherapy services as a form of carrying out their assigned duties and responsibilities apart from curiosity to carry out chemotherapy and their empathy for patients. Support from nurses in providing intravenous chemotherapy services is obtained from the family even though they are reminded to always be careful (protected), from the hospital, especially the improvement of infrastructure and related policies as well as support from colleagues and doctors. Obstacles for nurses in providing intravenous chemotherapy services arise from the capacity of nurses and specialists who are less trained, the inadequate reporting system between nurses during service changes including infrastructure such as PPE, room size and medicine.Conclusion: Recommendations This study is expected to be used as a reference for future researchers related to the topic of nurse experiences that are still related to chemotherapy clients in cancer","PeriodicalId":33236,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing Practice","volume":"2005 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88346002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
