Use of waste material for adsorption preparation makes this method more attractive. Regeneration of this adsorbent is very important aspect of the application of adsorption for various applications. Intensification of the adsorption bed includes reducing cycle time for pressure swing (PSA) and temperature swing (TSA) adsorption increasing thermal conductivity of the bed, optimizing various operating parameters. Regeneration of bed is an important aspect in adsorption desorption cycle as the low thermal conductivity of adsorbent is responsible for extended cycle time. To increase the conductivity, conducting materials in the form of composite fins can be uses. This review aims to study of different intensification technique for adsorption desorption process.","PeriodicalId":330303,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116869911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This review paper presents the previous work on solar water heater using phase change material. PCM had been used in different part of heating networks including shell and tube type collectors, flat pate collectors and evacuated tube collectors. Recent findings about the effects of phase change material on various solar collectors are discussed. This review highlights the need for further research in improving the solar water heater using materials for latent heat storage.","PeriodicalId":330303,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128514719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also has a number of applications in areas such as content-based image recovery, video coding, video conferencing, crowd observation, and intelligent human–computer interfaces. We have taken skin color as a tool for detection. This technique works well for all types’ faces which have a specific complexion varying under definite range. We have taken real life examples and simulated the algorithms in MATLAB successfully. This paper concentrates on the input images are converted to the YCbCr model to collect the value Y,Cb,Cr. and check whether these values are satisfied with the threshold values. If the pixels are in the range of threshold then that pixels will be considered as skin region otherwise it is a non skin region. This paper defined algorithm has been tested on various real time frontal images and gets better results for the YCbCr color model.","PeriodicalId":330303,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128270423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CVD made coated carbide inserts (WEDIA CNMG 120404, CNMG 120408) are used as cutting tools. Cutting speed (1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 RPM), feed (0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 mm/rev), depth of cut (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 mm) and Nose radius (0.4, 0.8 mm) were considered as fixed parameters. A mixed level orthogonal array (L16) from taguchi has been adopted for the experiments. The multiple performances of Material Removal rate (MRR) and Roughness characteristics (Ra and Rz) were optimized by a hybrid Entropy-TOPSIS approach. The results revealed that the nose radius has the most predominant effect on the multiple responses.","PeriodicalId":330303,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129000766","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thermal power plants are the major electrical energy producers. Need for renewable energy occurs due to the extinction of fossil fuels. Hence, it is necessary to operate these renewable plants with the thermal plants. In India, especially in Tamilnadu, Wind is the renewable plant which is widely available. The problem with the wind plant is its unpredictability.Hence, better wind thermal coordination economic dispatch method is necessary to integrate wind power reliably and efficiently. In this paper, Particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique is utilized to coordinate the wind and thermal generation dispatch and to minimize the total production cost. Ten units of thermal system incorporating wind power plant is utilized for numerical simulation. Different simulations with and without wind power production are simulated. Simulation result shows the effectiveness of wind power generation in reducing total fuel cost when compared with the genetic algorithm.","PeriodicalId":330303,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation","volume":"208 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124676826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
