Daily energy expenditure includes resting metabolism (RMR), endogenous thermogenesis (or thermal effects of food), and energy expenditure associated with exercise. RMR depends on body weight, age, gender, genetic factors, medications used and health status. Every living organism is affected by external factors. Fluctuations in magnetic fields can affect almost every biological system more or less, depending on the characteristics of the particular biological system and magnetic fluctuations. Environmental energy phenomena affect psychophysical processes that can affect people in a variety of ways, depending on their sensitivity, health status, and ability to self-regulate. The aim of this study: to investigate the correlations between basal metabolic rate in humans with different age, gender, BMI and local Earth magnetic field activity. Information on gas metabolism during respiration was obtained by indirect calorimetry where the gas flow was continuously analysed. O2 consumption and CO2 emissions were continuously analysed. The best quality 5 min section was selected from the 15 min recording (automatically selected by the computer). The results were analysed and mean resting metabolic rate (M_RMR) was calculated. Investigations of metabolic rate were performed in Lithuanian, Druskininkai, Medical SPA Center ,,UPA”. Power of spectral density of Local Geo Magnetic field (LGMF) was calculated in 0.32 to 36 Hz frequency range from the Lithuanian (GCI003) magnetometer for East – West direction (E-W). 395 persons were investigated: 116 men and 279 women. All participants were divided into two groups according gender. Women and men groups were divided again into two groups according mean age, the mean was 46 years. Was analysed correlations in women younger (≤ 46 years) and older (> 46 years) groups and the same for men younger (≤ 46 years) and older (> 46 years) groups. On the next step all women and all men, then younger women group, older women group, younger men group and older men group was divided according BMI mean (29), with less than ≤ 29 BMI and with more than > 29 BMI. On the basis of obtained results, we can conclude, that correlations between LGMF and basal metabolic rate features are negative. More expressed negative correlations are seen in persons with smaller BMI. With age negative correlations with LGMF decrease in men group and increase in women group. Sensitivity of persons of different gender to LGMF – differ.","PeriodicalId":32964,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Complexity in Health Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43439257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tasks of research: 1. To examine the relationship between the Earth's local magnetic field and the electrocardiographic parameters of women performing sedentary work, during the workweek. 2. To examine the relationship between the Earth's local magnetic field and arterial blood pressure of women performing sedentary work, during the work week. The methods used: electrocardiographic monitoring and arterial blood pressure measurement. The Earth's magnetic field data was obtained using a magnetometer located in the town of Baisogala. Every female was assessed four times: before and after work on Monday, before and after work on Friday of the same week. Participants of the research: the research group consisted of 21 females who perform sedentary work (average age ± SD – 50.1±9.5 years). Conclusions of the research: 1. The most significant correlations between local GMF and ECG and arterial blood pressure parameters were found with the low frequency field, the most often in SDelta [0-3.5] Hz and STheta [3.5-7] Hz bands. 2. The correlations between ECG parameters (RR, JT and QRS intervals ant ST amplitude) during the workweek changed from negative to positive, which appears to be associated with fatigue influence on person sensitivity to local GMF. 3. Systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure changed in different ways. The correlations between local GMF and diastolic arterial blood pressure were especially pronounced. 4. All ECG and arterial blood pressure parameters showed great variability in correlation with local GMF. It can be associated with changing human sensitivity to GMF due to increasing fatigue.","PeriodicalId":32964,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Complexity in Health Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43841214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to obtain high accuracy and low distortion mesh of bone, the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) meshing method is applied in this paper. The main process of bone finite element model construction consists of three parts, including CT (Computed Tomography) imaging, three-dimensional reverse modeling and meshing. By mesh optimization and boundary conditions imposition, the stress distribution of the occipital-atlantoaxial complex model and the relative motion angle between the Occipital Atlas and Atlantoaxial are obtained. According to the rotation angle checks, it is known that all the simulation results are within the range of cadaveric test data. The mesh generation technology provides a good idea and method for the study of bone mechanics.","PeriodicalId":32964,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Complexity in Health Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47895063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aiming at the grasping force control of flexible hand prosthesis, this paper draws lessons from the anatomical structure design of human hand, and proposes a fingertip grasping force control method based on linear tension feedback. The control strategy can realize the stable control of fingertip grasping force. The static mechanical model of finger is established, and the mathematical relationship of fingertip contact force calculation in static state is obtained. Then a friction compensation method is proposed. The experimental results show that the fitting value of the friction moment of the lasso matches well with the test value, and the error after friction compensation is obviously reduced.","PeriodicalId":32964,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Complexity in Health Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44178868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
