An enhanced space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) method based on the careful selection of intermediate vectors is proposed in this paper, aiming at the modulation range improvement whilst the CMV suppression in dual three-phase drive systems. The intermediate vectors are synthesized by large/small voltage vectors and a higher linear modulation range can be obtained compared with the existing method. The theoretical analysis and simulation results are presented to verify the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":327731,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 4th Student Conference on Electric Machines and Systems (SCEMS)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121944478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, based on the characteristics of the air gap magnetic field variation before and after RISC, the specific analytical expressions of the magnetic flux density (MFD), and the CCPB of the stator are derived. Then, taking the SDF-9 generator as the research object, the finite element analysis (FEA) is used to verify the circulation characteristics of the stator CCPB under different RISC degree and positions. Finally, the results are compared with the theoretical analysis, and the two changing trends are basically consistent. It is shown that the occurrence of RISC will cause even harmonic circulation components and the 2nd harmonic is the main component. As the degree of short circuit increases, the amplitudes of even harmonic circulation components of CCPB will show an increasing trend. In addition, the amplitude of the even harmonic circulation of the stator CCPB changes with position at the same short circuit degree.","PeriodicalId":327731,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 4th Student Conference on Electric Machines and Systems (SCEMS)","volume":"200 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122587035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on equivalent magnetic network (EMN) and finite element analysis, the effect of magnetic stator can on the torque performance of synchronous reluctance motor is studied in this paper. Compared with unshielded motor, the average torque is increased and the torque ripple is reduced by using suitable material and thickness of stator can. The established EMN model of shielded synchronous reluctance motor can consider the influence of motor saturation, and its calculation speed far exceeds finite element analysis, while the accuracy is not much lower. Genetic algorithm combined with EMN model is used to optimize the design of the motor stator, aiming at increasing the output torque. Finally, the accuracy and effectiveness of the optimization results are verified by the finite element analysis.","PeriodicalId":327731,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 4th Student Conference on Electric Machines and Systems (SCEMS)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126048399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to solve this problem, a general theory of combinations of HF injected auxiliary coils is presented in this paper. This theory aims to eliminate certain harmonics based on the vector superposition theory of the basic excitation vector, and can be employed for bearingless motors of all pole pairs combinations with concentrated windings. At the same time, the transmission of power grid disturbance is becoming more and more obvious. If we can't analyze the power grid disturbance in the process of power grid transmission, it will lead to the chain accident of power grid or large-scale power outage of power grid. This paper mainly studies the disturbance propagation characteristics of power grid, which has an important impact on the security and stability of power system. This paper cites the mature SIR model in the field of biology and combines it with the disturbance propagation of the power grid. By analyzing the model and analogy to the disturbance propagation of the power grid, this paper analyzes the impact of the disturbance propagation of the power grid on the stability of the power system, which makes it easier to further track and locate the disturbance source and give a first warning of the degree of the disturbance of the power grid, The model simulation shows that the scheme can effectively deal with the impact of disturbance propagation and make the power system operate more safely and stably.","PeriodicalId":327731,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 4th Student Conference on Electric Machines and Systems (SCEMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129524614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
