Countries around the world are stepping up effort to halt the spread of this pandemic. Some countries are scrambling to tackle this virus by applying lockdown policy. As of 10 August 2020, there have been confirmed 19.718.030 total cases and 728.013 total deaths of COVID-19 [2]. COVID-19 detection is vital to decide the subsequent step in handling the patients. One strategy that may be applied for COVID-19 detection is classification approach primarily based totally on chest x-ray of the patients. Convolutional neural network has been successfully applied in practical applications. It is a type of machine learning which the model is designed to learn classification tasks directly from an image. It recognizes patterns directly from image pixel. These patterns are used to classify images and to eliminate the need of manual feature extraction. Most of this research targets the iris recognition scenarios in constrained or controlled conditions, where considering the unconstrained environments is still needs more research work. In unconstrained environments, the sources of noise in eye regions are significantly more than constrained environments, leading to severe degradation in the iris region. As a result, iris segmentation step has a crucial significance and becomes a major issue in unconstrained iris recognition, since most of the traditional iris segmentation techniques fail under such challenging conditions. In this paper, a new segmentation algorithm is proposed to handle iris images acquired in visible wavelength environments. The proposed segmentation algorithm decreases the degradation and noise by starting from the most easily distinguishable region of the iris, which is the dark circular region called pupil. After that, the iris is localized accurately using a fast-circular Hough transform. Finally, the upper and lower eyelids and eyelashes are determined and removed from the iris region by applying a set of more suitable methods for unconstrained environments. Nowadays, they can be found on most of the marketplaces and online forums. Among Indonesian women, beauty product is the most discussed topic, which leads to an increasing number of reviews. Considering the number, extracting aspect-based information from unstructured review text is a challenging task for consumers. Therefore, providing automatic aspect-based opinion mining will be a very valuable service for the consumers. In this study, we performed aspect-based opinion extraction and polarity classification by using Naïve Bayes. We applied Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) and obtained 50.55% for overall aspect F1-Score. We also used 10 different preprocessing settings that combine filtering and stemming for Indonesian and English language. This approach can generate IT value through capabilities and core competencies. Hence it will impact on performance. The study will employ Downstream Petroleum (DP) industry. We take DP because the case study is non IT industry. As non IT industry, DP industry only spends low cost on IT. The industry has a need to know the IT value. Increasing the number of tourists is not a problem-free process, especially as visit preferences change over time. The challenge in this research is how to find alternative tourism objects which are located around the destination route with the fastest route, so as to shorten the travel time. In this study, the multi-point tourism recommendation system using Location-Based Service (LBS) is designed to find out tourist locations from the current location to the point of locations you want to visit but with a radius of 9 km. The application of the Floyd Warshall algorithm to this system will help tourists find the best route to the chosen tourist location. This research implemented the N-Sheet model in Capacitated Multi-Period Cutting Stock Problem with the pattern set-up cost. This study used the data of the rectangular stocks, which cut to a variety of item sizes. The Pattern Generation (PG) algorithm determined the cutting patterns. The PG produced 21 optimal patterns based on the length and 23 optimal patterns based on the width to fulfil customer requirements. And then, we formulated the patterns into the N-Sheet model. The optimal solution from the N-Sheet model in this research were six cutting patterns. We used the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 19th patterns for cutting based on length, and the 4th and 23rd patterns for cutting based on the width. Each programming language certainly has some advantages and disadvantages in the development of Android application. Therefore, a comparison to see the values of those programming languages is needed. This research compared two popular programming languages for Android application development, namely Java and Kotlin. The testing was done by building two applications using Java and Kotlin that access data in a remote server. Our comparison includes source code evaluation, testing on the performance of the app performed on two devices, and testing on the data usage. From the test results, it was proved that Kotlin is superior in terms of more concise lines of code and less data usage which will reduce bugs substantially therefore will lead to faster development time. On the other hand, Java is superior in its compiling time (for first time build but on par with Kotlin for incremental build) and APK size albeit not significant. We also compare ecosystem and programming language constructs for both programming languages. Most of the existing AR anatomy-based teaching media still do not pay attention to the learning media's UI and UX design. Elements such as navigation menus, text, icons, buttons, and others still accumulate, leading to the interface feel dense. This problem also can shift the user's attention when using this learning media. We tried to apply the FAB (Floating Action Button) to high-fidelity AR-based anatomy learning media prototype to overcome this. In this study, the FAB functions are as navigation and the main action of the prototype. We chose the FAB as a primary action and navigation since its ability to attract user attention and expand and narrow itself. FAB is recommended as navigation if the user needs to access certain parts or application functionality quickly regardless of hierarchy and limited navigation space. To find out the effect of user experience on FAB in this AR-based teaching media. Researchers use UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire). The results of the research show that the prototype using FAB produces three scales at the “above average” level, two scales at the “Good” level, and one scale is at the “excellent” level. It is often found incidentally in patients with thyroid nodules. One of the ways to evaluate its malignancy is by using ultrasonography of thyroid and neck. Many studies conducted experiments around thyroid nodules but none were focusing on thyroid nodules characteristics especially margin characteristic. This characteristic tends to be visibly obvious and can be the lead to another characteristics. We proposed a method to help experts in identifying the regular and irregular categories from margin characteristic. The proposed method consists of pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction by using nine geometric features, data balancing by using synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE), and classification by using deep learning method. For the training process we used the dataset collected from the Department of Radiology RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta Indonesia.
