This study is to carry out metacognition-based case teaching in the course of Medical Health Laws and Regulations for postgraduate students in order to innovate the teaching methods of ideological and political education. The practice of case teaching based on metacognition is divided into four parts: formulating teaching objectives, forming the micro-class library of curriculum ideological and political cases, carrying out case teaching and teaching evaluation. The evaluation results of students show that the course case teaching based on metacognitive theory can significantly improve the learning effect, and planning, monitoring and adjustment are the three strategies to improve the metacognitive ability.","PeriodicalId":325681,"journal":{"name":"Asia Social Science Academy","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139306638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Curriculum ideology and politics not only refers to a course, but also refers to a new teaching mode and teaching philosophy. As an indispensable part of college sports courses, taekwondo is becoming more and more important. Physical education in colleges and universities needs to be combined with relevant political education, not only to cultivate students' skills, physical fitness, but more importantly, to undertake the cultivation of students' mental health, and the same is true for taekwondo teaching. Through the exploration of the reality of taekwondo teaching in colleges and universities through research methods such as literature method, ideological and political research method, and logical reasoning, this paper finds that teachers still focus on the learning of skills and lack ideological and political education. Therefore, college taekwondo teachers should combine theory and practice, integrate the “taekwondo spirit” into teaching, cultivate students' patriotic spirit, and achieve the teaching goals of “sports people” and “sports heart”. At the same time, the construction path of integrating curriculum ideology and politics into taekwondo teaching in colleges and universities provides relevant references for the teaching reform of other physical education courses in colleges and universities.","PeriodicalId":325681,"journal":{"name":"Asia Social Science Academy","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139308262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the wake of CPEC's 10th anniversary, Chinese universities have established 21 research centers dedicated to studying Pakistan, reflecting a deepening of academic ties between the two nations. This paper delves into the specific case studies of two such centers, the Pakistani Studies Center at Northern Minzu University and the Pakistan Research Centre at Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences, examining their objectives, research areas, contributions, and challenges. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study showcases the diverse research areas of these centers, encompassing multiple dimensions such as decision-making support, strategic cooperation, cultural studies, educational exchanges, diplomacy, security, and resource development. The comparative analysis reveals distinctions in their levels of influence, with one operating at the national level and the other at the university level, contributing significantly to both broader policy discussions and localized cooperation. Moreover, it highlights their unique academic achievements, their roles in fostering international collaborations, and the challenges they face, including team construction, funding limitations, and limited research focus. The findings underscore the pivotal role these research centers play in advancing China-Pakistan relations within the BRI framework. Insights gleaned from this analysis offer valuable guidance for policymakers and stakeholders to enhance the impact and effectiveness of these research centers in furthering the collaboration between China and Pakistan.","PeriodicalId":325681,"journal":{"name":"Asia Social Science Academy","volume":"54 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139347654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Looking back at history, the development trend in Syria is based on the logic of “civil strife-civil war-chaotic war-proxy war”. Anti-government armed activities aimed at overthrowing Bashar regime are one after another, and Syria's political and economic development has been seriously affected. Compared with other countries in the Middle East, Syria's civil war is slightly different. This is not just a civil war and sectarian conflict in a strict sense. In the later period, its civil war evolved into a geopolitical game in which the big countries inside and outside the territory and the triple powers in Syria crisscross each other. In addition, the spillover effect of the Syrian civil war has had a substantial impact on the Middle East. The development sequence of Syrian geopolitical conflict is from civil war to Proxy war, which is essentially the external manifestation of several rounds of military and political games between big countries. The logic of this geopolitical conflict is universal in the Middle East. Syria’s geopolitical strategy is prominent, and multi-dimensional forces inside and outside the region participate in it. Its geopolitical game has experienced a long period, while other Middle Eastern countries may have only experienced part of it. In the Middle East, due to sectarian contradictions and political dominance competition within the country, it will eventually develop into a geopolitical situation in which internal and external forces are superimposed. In short, in the future development process, these “indirect forces” inside and outside the domain will probably still play an invisible role in the geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East, and will continue to influence the development trend of the geopolitical pattern of Middle East countries.","PeriodicalId":325681,"journal":{"name":"Asia Social Science Academy","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139347707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
