Sometimes host may run out of the power or move away without any knowledge of cooperative nodes, which results in change in topology and cause the performance issues in routing protocol. Some routing protocols on node lifetime and link lifetime address this issue. In this paper we presents a lifetime prediction routing protocol related to node and link lifetime for MANETs that maximizes the network lifetime by utilizing the dynamic nature, such as the energy drain rate and the relative mobility estimation rate of nodes. Utilizing these two performance parameter the algorithm selects the least dynamic route with the longest lifetime for maintaining the uninterrupted data flow. Finally, we present a pseudo code analysis of the proposed route lifetime prediction algorithm.","PeriodicalId":325365,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on System Engineering and Technology (ICSET)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121839527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IT risk management will always involving the company's overall risk management for IT risk will impact enterprise itself, thus a framework is required as a tool to integrate the IT risks with ERM. This paper present a case study research on IT risk management framework based on ISO 31000. The research methodology used in this study is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). The designed architecture includes three components, they are the principles of IT risk management, risk identification and analysis of IT. The method used to examine the framework was a Focus Group Methodology while sampling technique that used was purposive sampling. The Focus Group Discussion (FGD), conducted based on expert judgment in the PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. The examination of IT risk management framework resulting in accordance with the needs of companies that engaged in the telecommunications industry and has been integrating IT risk with ERM. In this case the company need is a security related financial statements to support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act agreement (SOA). The speed of system depends on the speed of considered DC motor. So, the main speed control is to control the speed of considered DC motor. The completed system composes of Fuzzy PID controller, Half-bridge driver, motor, 4:1transmission gear, tire, and speed sensor. The controller reads the commanding speed from user and compares to the actual speed read by the speed sensor which is attached with the U-Board frame, performs the Fuzzy PID computation, then sets the result of calculation to the PWM ports to drive the motor. The tire of the U-Board is connected to the motor by the chain with 4:1 reduced gear, it can be clearly seen that the speed of U-Board is slower than the speed of motor 4 times. The feasibility and effectiveness of the control techniques are verified using the experimental results and implemented using the PIC 8-bit microcontroller under speed variation and showed the superiority of Fuzzy-PID.","PeriodicalId":325365,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on System Engineering and Technology (ICSET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122451119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In principle, adsorption of glucose on a functionalized surface of the microfabricated cantilever will cause a surface stress and consequently the cantilever bending. In this paper, the microcantilever beam is constructed and bending analysis is performed so that the beam tip deflection could be predicted. The device model was simulated using CoventorWareTM, a commercial finite element analysis (FEA) tool designed specifically for MEMS applications. The structural variationof the piezoresistors designs on cantilever beam is also considered to increase the sensitivity of the microcantilevers sensor since the forces involved is very small. Besides, the mechanic characteristics of the microcantilever beam such as displacement were observed based on transient response characteristics using analytical method and simulation method with Matlab Simulink. We observed that the best output response which have fastest response, low overshoot and low steady state error is when d=3.30 and k=3.","PeriodicalId":325365,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on System Engineering and Technology (ICSET)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128123961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have developed PSV-S concepts as an abstraction of engineering solutions and processes. In this paper, we increase the abstraction of the concepts for a new class of PSV-S called contracts. Together with solution PSV-S, these contractual PSV-Ss construct a more realistic external PSV-S called second-order or contextual PSV-S. Within this constructed PSV-S, various new solution PSV-Ss can be sustained. This paper creates a performance model for virtual prototyping of PSV-Ss.","PeriodicalId":325365,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on System Engineering and Technology (ICSET)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131950309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
