Cet article propose ici de faire un bilan de ces methodes predictives et semi-empiriques (equivalent TNT, Multi-Energie TNO et Baker-Strehlow-Tang) permettant de determiner les parametres caracteristiques de l’onde de souffle. {"title":"Évaluation univoque de la surpression d’une explosion de gaz","authors":"Lydia Ouerdane","doi":"10.51257/a-v1-se5082","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.51257/a-v1-se5082","url":null,"abstract":"Deux types de methodes existent pour quantifier les surpressions d’une explosion de gaz a l’air libre, appelee UVCE ( unconfined vapor cloud explosion ) : les methodes dites « simples » et les methodes CFD ( computational fluid dynamics ). Les methodes simples requierent la connaissance de la surpression maximale d’explosion. La complexite du phenomene rend difficile le choix de cette surpression estimee dans la pratique de maniere qualitative. Apres quelques rappels sur les explosions, l’article presente la methode METEOR dont le but est d'estimer de maniere univoque la surpression maximale d’un UVCE. Le positionnement des detecteurs constitue un element critique de l’efficacite du systeme de detection. Bien qu’offrant une base de design robuste, le positionnement de detecteurs base sur les bonnes pratiques d’ingenierie et les standards d’exploitants ne permet pas de demontrer l’efficacite du systeme de detection exigee de plus en plus par les autorites et exploitants. Bien qu’aucune demarche d’evaluation des risques ne soit superieure, il existe souvent peu de liens entre le document unique d’evaluation des risques et les plans d’actions deployes. Cet article pose les principes cles et rappelle les outils mobilisables pour conduire une demarche d’evaluation globale des risques. Un accident par effet domino resulte d'un evenement initiateur imprevu, se propageant et s'aggravant en un ou plusieurs autres evenements plus importants generant des consequences desastreuses. Cet article examine la possibilite d'aggravation d'un accident en comparant l'intensite du vecteur d'escalade du phenomene dangereux sur la cible et son seuil limite d'endommagement.
