In this new era, robotic education must have quality and accessibility for everyone. In this study, a disruptive technology for future of distance education based on virtual robotic laboratory (U-Plat) is presented. The created robotics education platform allows users to access a virtual robotics laboratory and training programs using internet interfaces. This environment allows them to control simulated robots, analyze and evaluate the results of experiments performed. U-Plat gives researchers, students and people working in the field of robotics the chance to learn Robot Operating System (ROS) and increase their knowledge with robotics training from beginner to advanced level. Also, U-Plat gives researchers opportunity to try their codes in online platform. Compared to traditional learning methods, U-Plat can be seen as an easier and more effective learning/teaching platform for ROS exercises, as it is an open source system. The user experience has been tried to be provided in all training tools with a very simplified and easily understandable interface. All designed training tools are provided through a web interface supported by advanced cloud systems and Docker container infrastructure. In order to determine the interior physical environment quality and user satisfaction of the design studios of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design within the structure of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Istanbul Gedik University Campus, which was chosen as the study area; it was evaluated by taking into account the opinions of students and instructors. It is important that the research is carried out on the basis of volunteerism of the users. In this context, the users were informed about the informed consent and the Voluntary Consent Form was signed. Questionnaire forms were distributed to 100 students studying at Istanbul Gedik University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, and 20 lecturers working in the same department, taking into account the principle of volunteering; and the study was examined in the direction of these data. In the findings obtained as a result of the survey; students and instructors find natural lighting sufficient, they are satisfied with natural lighting and ceiling material; On the contrary, it was concluded that they were not satisfied with the artificial lighting, wall material, sitting position, not ability to see the screen / board easily in all conditions, and visual and graphic design competence. Therefore, Poisson and negative binom distribution are the most common methods for count data. The Poisson model can be used in case of equal spread, while negative binom distributions in case of overdispersion. In practice, data is often over dispersed. If there are too many zero values in the count data, zero-inflated Poisson models in case of equal spread, zero-inflated negative binom models, Poisson Hurdle and negative binom Hurdle models or their generalized models can be preferred in case of overdispersion. These models generally focus on modeling the conditional average of the dependent variable. However, conditional average regression models may be sensitive to outliers of the dependent variable or provide no information about other conditional distribution properties. In this case, quantile regression, which is one of the robust methods for count data, can be used. The quantile regression has the advantages of robust prediction in the presence of outliers. In this study, count data was taken to show the dependent variable number of articles. Independent variables include of gender, marital status, number of children under the age of 5, prestige of the doctorate, and the number of articles by the consultant in the last 3 years. Erman, Fatih Çiğ, Mustafa Ceritoğlu","doi":"10.35193/bseufbd.991736","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35193/bseufbd.991736","url":null,"abstract":"Plant growth promoting bacterias (PGPBs) can be described as bacterial strains increasing water and nutrient uptake, gaining nitrogen and phosphorus to plants by biological nitrogen fixation and phosphate mineralization, promoting plant growth and enabling to improve the tolerance to stress factors due to mechanisms as secretion of various phytohormones, vitamins and growth regulators, restriction of ethylene synthesis with ACC deaminase activity, decreasing of pathogen damage by the secret of antibiotic and fungicidal compounds. This study was carried out in a laboratory of Field crops in Siirt University under controlled conditions. The 2 original bacterial strains (KF3B and KF63C) and 5 different priming times (control, 1, 2, 4 and 6 h) were applied on the Fırat-87 lentil variety. The study was laid out in a completely randomized design with 3 replications. It was aimed with this study that investigating effects based on bacterial biodiversity and priming time on germination characteristics and seedling growth in lentils. According to results, biodiversity-induced differences were observed in germination percentage, seedling fresh weight, seedling dry weight, seedling length and seedling vigor index while priming time significantly affected all investigated parameters except for germination percentage. However, the interaction of strains and priming times did not lead to any significant differences in traits. In conclusion, microbial diversity and priming time have a critical role on successful of the priming technique. Optimum priming time for lentils was determined as 4 hours. How the variation of Al, one of the alloy components used in the experiment, affects the thermal expansion and thermal conductivity of the alloys (1-9 Al % weight), and the changes on density and hardness were investigated. It has been observed that the microstructure changes of the alloys and the intermetallic phase (Mg17Al12) seen in the microstructure have an effect on the thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity, density, and hardness of the alloys. The thermal properties of the alloy changed depending on the Al content in the alloy. The thermal properties of the alloys increased depending on the temperature increase (temperature change between 25 °C and 400 °C). For this reason, it is important to use the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system, which can project building designs in a sustainable, healthy, and low cost by allowing all kinds of preliminary studies and analyses to be made. With the study, it was aimed to determine the awareness of BIM by the sector employees, the advantages it can provide in construction works, the issues that are seen as obstacles in ensuring its more widespread use, and their thoughts on eliminating these issues. According to the data obtained from the study, the BIM system is not known enough (50%) and is not used (67%) in our country yet. 70% of the respondents do not know how to use the BIM system. The awareness and use of the BIM system is still in its beginner level. On the other hand, the fact that the idea that the BIM system can contribute to the sector is widely accepted by the participants can be interpreted as the system will be used more in the future. 41% of the respondents stated that BIM will definitely reduce their project costs and will reduce it by 31%. The idea that the problem could be determined before the construction phase with BIM was supported by 58% of the participants. The opinion that the biggest contribution to the dissemination of the use of the BIM system can be made by the state was approved by 61%, while the idea that the competitive pressure in the sector would expand the use was approved by 41%. As it is widely accepted, it would be beneficial to improve educational opportunities about the system. Support can be obtained from academic studies and experienced people or institutions in transitioning to YBM. Seçilen bağlayıcıların özellikleri; kalıplama, ön sinterleme ve sinterleme aşamalarını doğrudan ilgilendirmektedir. Besleme stokuna eklenen bağlayıcı özelliklerinin yanı sıra bağlayıcıların (ana bağlayıcı/iskelet bağlayıcı/yağlayıcı) kullanım amacı da önemlidir. Bu çalışmada seramik enjeksiyon kalıplama süreci için su bazlı ana bağlayıcı kullanılarak akış özellikleri (reoloji) belirlenmiştir. Reoloji deneyleri hem kılcal hemde tork reometreleri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneylerde; polietilen glikol ana bağlayıcı ve polipropilen/polietilen iskelet bağlayıcı kullanılarak farklı karışım oranlarında hazırlanan besleme stokları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ana bağlayıcı değiştirilmeden (PEG4000), iskelet bağlayıcı olarak ise iki farklı (PP/PE) bağlayıcı kullanılmıştır. Buna bağlı olarak viskozite, kayma hızı, sıcaklık ve erime davranış indeksleri tespit edilmiştir. Öztürk","doi":"10.35193/bseufbd.1106220","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35193/bseufbd.1106220","url":null,"abstract":"In this study, the viscosity and foaming efficiency of amphoteric surfactants on shampoo were investigated and three most commonly used amphoteric surfactants were selected, i.e. Cocamidopropyl betaine (Dehyton KE), disodium coco ampho diacetate (Dehyton DC) and capryl/capramidopropyl betaine (Lirobet 810). Viscosity measurements of amphoteric surfactants were performed in the absence and presence of various concentrations of NaCl at different rates for the prepared shampoo base. The results found in these experiments were compared. It was observed that Cocamidopropyl Betaine amphoteric surfactant gained consistency by using less salt than the other two amphoteric surfactants studied. The best value in itself is the 7% (w/v) cocamidopropyl betaine amphoteric surfactant added to the shampoo base. The foam levels of amphoteric surfactants at different ratios added to the shampoo base studied were also investigated. It has been determined that the best foaming properties is cocamidopropyl betaine for all the amphoteric surfactant studied. The best value in itself is the 10% (w/v) use of cocamidopropyl betaine amphoteric surfactant added to the shampoo base. In the literature search, primary and secondary microplastics has been observed which are mixed with the marine environment by wastewater treatment plant discharge and river transport, therefore, many marine organism are ingested microplastics and negatively affect living things due to reproductive disorders, fake satiety and injury. In addition, depending on the raw material from which the plastics are obtained, it is possible to transport different toxic compounds to the marine environment. In the extensive literature research, it has been understood that primary and secondary microplastics, which are mixed with the marine environment by wastewater treatment plant discharge and river transport, can be swallowed by living things and negatively affect living things due to reproductive disorders, false satiety and injury. In addition, depending on the raw material from which the plastics are obtained, it is possible to transport different toxic compounds to the marine environment. The results of the study showed that in parallel with the particles detected in the seas, microplastics with similar properties were found in all living groups living in these environments. Particles detected in different structures and organs of other creatures, including protected corals and mammals, revealed that microplastics have spread throughout the entire marine ecosystem. The most common types of microplastics in the examinations are polypropylene and polyethylene polymers and fiber-shaped particles. However, nowadays, rapid access to financial data with fast Internet connections, developments in informatics, and cloud systems, the use of artificial intelligence algorithms for financial forecasting increase competition in this field. The share of artificial intelligence applications in areas such as portfolio management in Fintech is increasing. The aim of this study is to compile previous academic studies to predict financial time series data, to explain artificial intelligence algorithms used to predict time series, and to examine some predicted financial data types and their dependencies.
