Therefore, the Li–S batteries have been intensively investigated, due to the high capacity, low cost, widespread source, and nontoxicity. The development of Li-S batteries causes increasing need to find the methods for their recycling. Some of them are discussed in the paper. The recycling of Li-S cell relates to its anode, cathode, electrolyte, binder and separator. The Li-S battery should be fully charged before recycling. There are potential methods for recycling of lithium from anodes, especially by re-melting. It is also possible to recycle some materials from the cathodes, especially sulfur by re-melting and graphite by dry crushing, Eco-bat Technologies method or the method investigated by Xiang et al. There is no effective recycling methods for electrolytes, binders and separators. It is necessary to carry out further studies on them. Contributions of the most important renewable technologies in energy production are described: solar power, wind energy, hydroelectric, nuclear, and geothermal. The contribution of other resources such as hydrogen and fuel cells, bio-energy resources due to their negligible level of impact is not addressed. Some aspects of political considerations affecting policies and regulations related to energy production in the USA and beyond are also addressed. Academia’s response to new demands for graduates in alternative and renewable energies with an example of academic engineering degree program is included. It has long been setting new standards not only in quality management (QS 9000/VDA or ISO/TS 16949). It is also an inspiration for seeking efficient production methods, such as lean production, agile production and tools that support such production in the global automotive supply chain. Since October 2016, a new quality management standard in the form of the IATF 16949:2016 system has been in place in the automotive industry. Some invest in technological innovations, other choose process and organisational structure optimisation, some focus on building an organisational culture promoting effectiveness or search for new market opportunities. This publication will focus on those companies, which build their position among their competitors based on properly imple- mented loss elimination strategy. Therefore, the purpose of this publication (a second part of an on- going cycle) is to analyse the selected products focusing in the participation of raw material purchase cost in the total production cost of a given product. This will allow to propose a strategy in the up- coming part, which will have a measurable effect on lowering the production costs and increasing the value of the production plant. The above actions will bring effects only if we demonstrate our expert knowledge of the market and its needs. The market of air services in the 21st century faces strong competition. Therefore, in order to gain information about the factors, processes, and field phenomena, research must be conducted, as it constitutes the basic tool for the shaping of the air services industry.
