The initial information is processed in the form of an image, following that, a visual encryption algorithm will be applied to this image. It will generate between 2 and 4 sheets that will represent the results of encryption. The decryption is performed by overlapping them in the correct position and visual recognizing by the human eye of the information. Each encryption will generate a set of unique results and the repetition of the encryption will generate another set. This is due, as we explained in this paper, to random choices used in decision points.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"401 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129225693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the PMSM control system is based on a Linear Adaptive Disturbance Rejection Controller (LADRC) speed controller. The LADRC type controller is based on an Extended State Observer (ESO), which performs the estimation of the rotor speed and of an extended state which includes the uncertainty of the system parameters and the external disturbance. The article presents the operating principle, the equations, and the structures of implementation in Matlab/Simulink of the main blocks of the control system based on the FOC strategy and the LADRC speed controller. Numerical simulations are presented comparatively for PI-type and respectively LADRC-type speed controller. The superior quality performance, the robustness, as well as a good dynamic and stationary response are noted for the LADRC controller. Future papers propose the approach of using the LADRC-type controller in the DTC strategy, as well as the implementation in embedded systems.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115555774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are a lot of certified methods which were developed after years of research and definitely, the highest accuracy is achieved by some sort of physical contact between the measurement device and the patient. However, as recent events have shown, there are cases such as virus pandemics, in which avoidance of direct contact with objects that may be used by other people is strongly recommended. The high contagion rate of viruses such as the recent COVID-19 can be best dealt with by achieving highest degree of prevention possible. This paper does a research on infrared temperature measurement. We also propose a simple solution based on IR temperature sensors that could help with prevention of virus spreading in crowded areas such as office buildings.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124944790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presentation of IWKO1, eF-OP-ELM and SVM is given and associated with their mathematical background, and the steps of their implementations are next outlined. The comparative analysis involves two performance indices, prediction accuracy and execution time, measured after the implementation on the Wilt dataset. Modern buildings are equipped with new sensor technologies and advanced controllers, integrated through communication interfaces and application software to handle various required functions through automation. This is partially extended to legacy buildings through retrofitting. Integration of these new technologies opens up the automation system of the building to internal and external attackers. The challenges related to cybersecurity identified are partially similar to the industrial control system domain while adding specific constraints for the built environment as compared to a production/manufacturing environment, which relate to human safety, security and privacy aspects. We provide a critical overview of cybersecurity challenges for smart building automation systems by focusing on key areas of development at the device, system and communication and interoperability levels. A representative example for BACnet protocol features and tools is provided.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114832956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study we analyzed the statement /vine mama/ (mother is coming) from which we extracted for each vowel the fundamental frequency and the formants, and we studied the variations of the correlation coefficients calculated for F0 and F1-F4 according to the emotion expressed by the speaker (joy, sadness, anger and the state of emotional neutrality). Subsequently, we applied simple linear regression to verify whether the pitch is an effective predictor for estimating the low formants (F1 and F2) or not. Some of the results we obtained indicate that for both /a1/ and /a2/ the values of the coefficient of determination (R2) were low regardless of the type of emotion. As for vowel /a1/, the pitch is a good predictor of formant F1 for anger and sadness, and for F2 it is an effective predictor only in the case of anger and neutral tone. On the other hand, for vowel /a2/, F0 is a good predictor for both F1 and F2, but only in association with anger.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116708333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
