The study focusses on the risk and leverage pattern of stock markets taking India and China as a sample by using daily data of CNX Nifty and Shanghai from 1992 to 2015. By accounting the structural break of GFC (Global Financial Crisis), the data was split in two parts, i.e., pre and post global financial crisis. The study applied GARCH family models to capture the results indicating highly significant ARCH and GARCH parameters for both Indian and Chinese markets for pre and post-crisis period and there was also an evidence of GARCH in Mean model effect in Shanghai market during the Pre-crisis period. A sample of 116 customers from public and private sector banks has been taken for the study. Data have been collected through questionnaire designed on a five point Likert scale. Independent sample t-test has been used as the statistical tool to measure the difference in service quality on the variables namely tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, and ATM service quality. The selected time period is from April 2006 to Oct 2013. The time period includes the pre-crisis period, crisis period and post crisis period. The empirical analysis, which includes trend analysis as well as regression analysis, suggests that there is significant impact of the FIIs investment on Indian stock market as well as on exchange rate. It was external sector which caused heavy effect of the recent global financial crisis on the Indian economy. The higher selling of securities by FIIs caused rupee depreciation due to higher demand for dollar. An important implication of the finding is that the selling practices of securities are important variable in itself instead of the volume of the net investment. But with changing times the role of woman has changed from a caregiver to a multitasking professional. A woman's life involves constant juggling between multiple responsibilities at home, meetings schedules, business trips at work, and responsibilities of life and family. Education developed a vision to prompt women to go for an occupation of their choice beyond the safety of home to lending service to the public. The migrationof a woman from her home to the professional career oriented work domain has given her respect and improved the standards of her quality of life. But at the same time, a woman plays the role of mother and home maker for family members bearing additional load of her occupation. The contribution of women to the national economy needs to be recognized for assuring them better living conditions. Their health issues, both mental as well as physical should be addressed as they are physically less strong than theirmale counterparts. This makes them victims of headache, osteoporosis, backache, joint pains, muscular skeletal disorders, arthritis and so on. Adding to the natural physical challenge, is the repetitive nature of the work causing boredom and the disproportionate earning compared to their male counterparts, which puts women under psychological stress and strain. Stress reflects in insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, headaches, heart trouble, alcoholism, drug addiction and abuse in extreme conditions. Women entrepreneurs oremployees due to sustained stress of their dual role (home and office) over years develop physiological conditioning and low immune profile because of inadequate personal attention detrimental by ill-health. Women working outdoors have exposure to airpollution, urban vehicular and exhaust fumes cause severe respiratory problems and pulmonary diseases. Agricultural women workers too face parasitic infections, allergic bronchitis, lung infection due to dust and unhealthy work environment. Women continueto suffer social constraints of societal dominant cultures, limited mobility and, in some cultures, they are thus negated any type of paid employment. At work, they may face verbal, sexual and physical abuse at an extreme end and at a common level they face gossip and stigma within their own communities. The growing levels and extremes of violence against women have been ‘femicide’-the killing of women by men just for being women, including ‘honor killings’ to reflect the psyche of the male dominanceand power to control and exploit the women. High frequency data (thirty minutes frequency), for the period June 2012 to May 2013, was taken for the study. Variables such as the trade size, number of trades and traded price from the trades directory and unexecuted orders of buy/sell quantity from the limit order book were included in the model to test if they have any significant impact on volatility. However, the highlight of the research is the inclusion of the interaction term (number of trades into trade size) as one of the explanatory variable into the garch volatility equation. Credit risk depends on some factors. To identify these factors banks make a preliminary analysis of the credit worthiness and solvency of the borrower. The current study is an attempt to bring out the concerned factors that have great affect on the banker's perception about loan decision. For achieving this objective, sample size of 47 individual respondents (Bankers) has been taken and the analysis was carried out using Factor Analysis in order to capture the Bankers perception as to take a loan decision. The result of the analysis has discovered nine underlying factors such as Project's Potentiality, Experience, Viability of Project, Guarantee, Risk, Repayment History, Priority Sector, Age and Relationship with the Bank on the basis of which Bankers make the decision about the loan approval. All of them have important roles in determining the ladder of the business strategy to invest in R&D activities. The data used in this study was gathered from sixteen pharmaceutical companies for the period of 2005–06 to 2014–15. Hence, there is a strong need for easy access to educational loans for the deserving and needy students. Credit Management has gained significance due to inflating book size of non-performing assets. NPA has affected banks in terms of their liquidity, solvency and profitability. Narasimham Committee has suggested for bringing more transparency in Banks’ financial reporting by introducing Asset Classification, Income Recognition and Provisioning, based on asset quality. This Paper highlights the issues involved in NPA formation and its management especially in educational sector from both borrowers’ and lenders’ perspectives. The data utilized was collected from one hundred and eighty respondents through a questionnaire.
