Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture and hydroponics technology application to rearing fish and plants by utilizing recirculation systems. Waste produced by fish such as food and metabolic waste (feces and urine) can use as fertilizer for plants-the water which contains food and metabolic waste furthermore flowing to planting media and plant absorption the nutrient so the water quality can reuse for fish culture. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of planting media on the growth and yield of red lettuce plants in aquaponics. Design experiment use nested completely randomized design. The data analysis using ANOVA, and the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The experiment consists of 3 treatments and nine replications. Media planting are rice husk charcoal, zeolite, and cocopeat. The results showed that the rice husk charcoal and zeolite substrate significantly affects number of leaves, fresh weight, and dry weight compared to cocopeat media. The use of learning media that the authors make, namely Al-Qur'an learning games can be an alternative means for students to increase their interest in learning. The presence of Interactive multimedia-based Al-Qur'an reading media is expected to be able to attract the interest of students and the public to learn to focus more on the material being studied especially reading the Qur'an. The system development method used in making Al-Qur'an learning game applications is to use the MDLC method (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). Questionnaires were given to teachers and students who had tried using the AlQur'an learning game, the questionnaire was made aimed at knowing the responses of teachers and students to the learning game. Electricity plays a critical role in telecommunication business. Information transmission service infrastructure such as base transceiver stations (BTSes), base station controllers, and mobile switching centers must not lose electricity supply. Therefore, telecommunication enterprises have gensets as backup power supplies. However, these gensets are usually located at a point remote from the BTS, making it difficult for operators to monitor and operate them. This study designs an Arduino and Ethernet Shield remote monitoring and operating system for BTS gensets by utilizing a TCP/IP technology as communication protocols.
