The objective of this research was to discover how far the students’ capability in analyzing errors of prefixes and suffixes in English sentences. The researchers limited this study to focus only on derivational affixes. In order to obtain the data, students were tested. The participants of this research were undergraduate students of the English education department at STKIP Pamane Talino, West Kalimantan. The researchers used a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. The results showed the average of students’ proficiency in analyzing prefixes and suffixes in sentences was 68.57%. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan skema framing Robert Entman pada koran Pikiran Rakyat dan media online kompas.com. Penelitian analisis wacana kritis ini berfokus terhadap teks berita yang berjudul “Terjerat Dana Alokasi Khusus” yang ditulis pada koran (Pikiran Rakyat, 13 Desember 2018) dan teks berita berjudul “Kepala daerah kembali menjadi sasaran Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dalam Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT)” yang ditulis di media on line kompas.com pada 12 Desember 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis teks berita yang ditulis pada koran adalah deskriptif melalui analisis framing Robert Entman. Hasil analaisis menunjukkan bahwa koran Pikiran Rakyat mengemukakan kasus pemotongan DAK lebih menekankan pada aspek tindakan yang dilakukan KPK sedangkan kompas.com menjelaskan apa tindakan KPK terhadap para pelaku korupsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekstiptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memaparkan frasa nominal atributif dalam bahasa Jawa dialek Jatim. Metode penelitian kualitatif. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan metode simak dan metode instrospeksi. Peneliti sebagai penutur asli bahasa Jawa dialek Jatim mengumpulkan sendiri data-data kebahasaan yang akan diteliti, mencatat kemudian melakukan analisis terhadap data yang telah dikumpulkan. This research identified and determined the variation of the test items’ level of questions, analyzed the number of higher order thinking and lower order thinking of the test items and analyzed the communicative language ability that exist in the tests items. This study was conducted through qualitative research focusing on the content analysis method. The data source used in this study was document of English National Examination including the transcript of the listening tests. The data taken from document of English National Examination were all English test items of UN for SMA 2014. The writer took documents of English UN for SMA including the cassette of its listening section from SMA Negeri 1 Rao, Pasaman Regency West Sumatera. The test items were observed, classified, analyzed, and then the results were interpreted and drew the conclusion. The qualitative descriptive was used in this study by using content analysis technique. The technique of obtaining data used documentation. The data were analyzed by coding, display, and verification. The data analysis was carried out in depth by using some theories related to the inductive approach in teaching speaking skills. The results of the study indicate the interrelated of the implementation and responses of the students in using this approach. The results show that the inductive approach is very helpful for students in learning to speak English because it is based on the examples given and they have learnt to find patterns in English speaking. By seeing the examples, they also learn how to imitate the way how people say in English and they are actively involved in the teaching and learning process. Furthermore, it is suggested that inductive approach can be used in speaking class. So the perception that Indonesian is a boring subject because of the lack of learning media used by teachers. This can result in students being less able to work on the results of observational reports. One effort to overcome this is to use an innovative learning model that is the Project based learning model. The purpose of this study, among others, is to determine the effect of project based learning learning models on the skills of writing observational report texts in class X students of Parlaungan Islamic High School in Sidoarjo. The population in this study were grade X students of Parlaungan Waru Sidoarjo Islamic High School as many as 44 students. A total of 22 students as the Experiment class who used the project based learning model and 22 students as the control class who used the direct learning model. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ialah surat dinas di Kantor Kecamatan Maospati. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data yang sudah didokumentasikan berupa surat dinas. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis teks. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup deskripsi penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada surat dinas di Kantor Kecamatan Maospati. Setelah data dianalisis ditemukan banyak kesalahan, di antaranya penggunaan ejaan, pilihan kata, dan kalimat efektif. Kesalahan penggunaan ejaan yang terdapat pada surat dinas di Kantor Kecamatan Maospati ini, yaitu kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital, huruf miring, huruf tebal, kata depan, singkatan dan akronim, angka dan bilangan, tanda titk, tanda koma, tanda titik dua, tanda hubung, dan tanda garis miring. Kesalahan yang paling banyak terletak pada penulisan huruf kapital, sedangkan kesalahan yang paling sedikit terletak pada penulisan angka dan bilangan. Kesalahan penggunaan pilihan kata yang terdapat pada surat dinas di Kantor Kecamatan Maospati ini, yaitu kesalahan penggunaan kata yang tidak baku, tidak umum, tidak santun, dan tidak cermat. Kesalahan yang paling banyak terletak pada penulisan ketidakcermatan kata, sedangkan kesalahan yang paling sedikit terletak pada penulisan ketidaksantunan kata. Kesalahan penggunaan kalimat efektif yang terdapat pada surat dinas di Kantor Kecamatan Maospati ini, yaitu kesalahan penggunaan kalimat yang tidak sepadan, tidak paralel, tidak hemat, tidak cermat, dan tidak logis. Kesalahan yang paling banyak terletak pada penulisan ketidakcermatan kalimat, sedangkan ketidaktegasan dan ketidakpaduan kalimat, tidak ditemukan kesalahan. Untuk itulah, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan aspek gramatikal dan leksikal pada Cerpen Filosofi Kopi Karya Dee Lestari. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Waktu penelitian selama 4 bulan, mulai Maret sampai Juni 2019. Sumber data penelitian menggunakan sumber data sekunder berupa cerpen. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk dokumen yaitu berupa cerpen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi. Prosedur penelitian berupa persiapan yaitu mencari referensi, pelaksanaan yaitu menganalisis arsip, dan tahap penyelesaian yaitu simpulan. Berdasarkan analisis aspek gramatikal ditemukan ada tiga bentuk yaitu referensi (pengacuan), subtitusi (penyulihan), dan konjungsi (penghubung). Referensi dari data yang ditemukan terdapat aku, kami, malam itu, dan bagai. Subtitusi yang ditemukan diganti dengan kata mereka dan dia. Konjungsi terdapat ada kata hubung karena, hingga, atau dan tetapi. Hasil analisis aspek leksikal ditemukan enam bentuk yaitu repetisi, sinonimi, kolokasi, hiponimi, antonimi, dan ekuivalensi. Repetisi berupa pengulangan kata buku, 50 Juta, dan minuman itu. Sinonimi ditemukan data berupa persamaan kata menyelinap, menyusup, dan cemas. Kolokasi ditemukan data berupa kata yang berdampingan yaitu golongan jaringan pembuatan kopi. Hiponimi ditemukan data berupa hubungan atas bawah yang maknanya pada lingual lainnya yaitu macam-macam kopi. Antonimi ditemukan data berupa lawan kata lugu, datang, dan sempurna. Di antara aspek yang menentukan kesahihan analisis wacana adalah dengan memanfaatkan aspek teks, ko-teks, dan konteks wacana. Penelitian ini bertuijuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek teks, ko-tek, dan konteks yang terdapat pada kolom Ayo Sekolah pada surat kabar Banten Ekspres. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, data teks diambil dari surat kabar harian Banten Ekspres pada hari Jumat tanggal 21 Februari. Teks diambil dari kolom Ayo Sekolah pada surat kabar Banten Ekspres. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan teknik analisi isi, dan disajikan secara informal bebas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wacana yang dianalaisis merupakan teks. Sedangkan aspek ko-teks memengaruhi pemahaman teks wcana yang berupa kalimat kalimat atau tuturan yang mendahului dan mengikutinya yang mendukung arti teks sesudah atau sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan kurang lebih selama 7 bulan.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu berupa anak penyandang tunagrahita di SLB Dharma Wanita.Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa, pemerolehan fonologi anak penyandang tunagrahita pada tahap ini anak sudah mampu menghasilkan fonem vokal dan diikuti fonem konsonan. Pemerolehan fonologi sudah dihasilkan anak penyandang tunagrahita yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Jawa. Fonem Bahasa Indonesia yaitu fonem vokal /a/, /i/ /u/, /e/, /o/, /ǝ/ dan konsonan /b/, /c/, /d/, /f/, /g/, /h/ /j/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /p/, /r/, /s/, /t/, /w/, /y/, /ŋ/, /ň/. Sedangkan fonem Bahasa Jawa yaitu fonem vokal /a/, /i/ /u/, /e/, /o/, /ǝ/ dan fonem konsonan /b/, /c/, /d/, /g/, /h/ /j/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /p/, /r/, /s/, /t/, /v/, /w/, /y/, /ŋ/, /ň/, /ḑ/. Pemerolehan leksikon yang sudah dihasilkan oleh anak penyandang tunagrahita yaitu leksikon Bahasa Indonesia dan leksikon Bahasa Jawa. Di mana anak penyandang tunagrahita sudah mampu menghasilkan kelas kata Bahasa Indonesia yaitu kata benda, kata sifat, kata kerja, kata bilangan, kata ganti, kata keterangan, kata depan, dan kata hubung.
