Faglig innovasjon for bærekraftsmål ved 15 institusjoner for økonomi og administrasjon i Norge kan tyde på det. Universitets- og høgskolerådets strategiske enhet for økonomi og administrasjon (UHR-ØA) i Norge gav i 2018 anbefaling om ny faglig satsing på etikk, samfunnsansvar og bærekraft. Det var første gang på lang tid at bachelorstudiets faglige søyler ble utvidet fra de fire disiplinene: Bedriftsøkonomi, samfunnsøkonomi, administrasjonsfag og metodefag. En ny faglig stolpe ble etablert: Etikk, samfunnsansvar og bærekraft (ESAB). Alle 15 institusjoner som utdanner kandidater i Norge innen økonomi og administrasjon i Norge ble anmodet om å innføre kurs på 7.5 – 15 studiepoeng dedikert til ESAB-fag. Artikkelen baserer seg på tekst og kvantitative data fra institusjonsundersøkelser fra 2012, 2017 og 2020 om hvordan norske institusjoner «bottom up» har endret sine fagporteføljer og kurs for å bidra til ansvarlig utdanning. Artikkelen viser også effekter av «top down» anbefalinger om gi alle studenter ESAB-undervisning fra UHR-ØA. The background for the article is a recent enhanced focus on the subject in the shape of rules and procedures for enhancing responsible conduct of research. However, the national initiatives are broad and abstract and require specific organizational translations. Hence, in this study we ask how the university college sector has responded to the increasing political demands of organizational research integrity policies based on a theoretical framework focusing on organizational translation. The framework highlights that policies seldom are implemented straightforward in classical top down processes, but rather are translated and adjusted selectively to specific organizational contexts in complex and dynamic processes. In an empirical analysis of two selected Danish university colleges we then show that the implementation processes not only have required years of preparation but also have unfolded quite differently across the two organizations. Overall, we find that elements related to explicit requirements and risks of sanctions appear to have been prioritized over more culture-oriented efforts. Formålet er at fremanalysere doxa og herunder de regulariteter, som udvælgelsen af litteratur synes at ske igennem. Disse regulariteter sammendrages i figuren homo pædagogicus, hvis fremkomst diskuteres i sammenhæng med professionshøjskolernes interesser på området – og universiteternes tilsyneladende mangel på samme.
