The Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 on Strengthening of Character Education has also spawned a slew of derivative theories. Some of the new results in character education are holistic-integrative and character-interconnected. However, character education, particularly Islamic education, continues to be a source of concern for all parties. The challenges of Islamic education are increasing with the sophistication of technology. The community's faltering use of technology is a major impediment to increasing Islamic education's principles. This study's research technique is descriptive-qualitative, utilizing literature reviews from a variety of scientific data sources. According to the findings and conclusions of this study, Islamic education in Indonesia plays both a function and a challenge in the age of disruption. Problems in the sphere of educational technology, the dichotomy of science, educational evaluation, subject matter delivery, and geographical challenges of Islamic education are among the challenges in Islamic education. Civil servants as the subjects of this research are the civil servants in Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. Based on the research focus, the research question was how was Al-Maqasid Al-Syariah on the implementation of Government Regulation No 45 of 1990 regarding the prohibition for female civil servants to become a second wife or more in Konawe? This research used a qualitative approach, while the data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. This research found that from the perspective of Al-Maqashid Al-Syariah female civil servants in Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi including their children tend to experience disadvantages. The preservation of religion, soul, mind, property, and offspring will not be fully maintained and fulfilled. It means that the harm of a polygamous family is more significant than its benefit. Anticipating the possibility of similar incidents in the future, the Indonesia’s Islamic education needs to redesign its learning approach in order to create a new learning model that is more resilient, and meet the needs and the demands of Industri 4.0: Education 4.0. Unlike the conventional approache having been used so far, this new desired approach departs from a paradigm that places the students at the center of learning with the involvement of the use of on-line classes to explore them to the fullest. Philosophically, there is a resemblance of Education 4.0 orientation to the Islamic education’s concept of ‘cradle-to-grave learning’, which emphasizes the creation of life-long learners and teachers to enable them to play positive and constructive roles in today work environment and in the innovative society in general. This research aims to analyze three things: (1) how the use of animation video technology takes place in the process of Arabic learning; (2) how the students' learning attitude performs while using animation video technology; and (3) how the effectiveness of the use of animation video technology enhances the students' Arabic language mastery. This research method uses mixed-method research by combining qualitative and quantitative methods, focusing on the data collection and data analysis process. This research's respondents are the students of State Islamic Elementary School of Metro City, Lampung totalling 70 students. The research instrument is the list of questions to gain data on the implementation of learning using the animation video technology. The test instrument to get data about the results of Arabic learning before and after using animation video technology. This study results in findings that animation video technology has created a psychological atmosphere that is fun for the children. The feeling of pleasure has developed students' positive attitude in learning. The results of the t-test show that sig (2-tailed) is equal to 0.019 < the value of α (0.05), which means that there is a significant influence on the use of animation video technology on students' Arabic langauge ability. This study concludes that animation video technology designed interestingly has overcome various difficulties of students' learning. This study recommends using animation video technology in teaching the Arabic language. Starting from the phenomenon of using al-maktabah sya> milah software in Pesantren Salaf (traditional Islamic boarding schools) where they have a scientific tradition of using printed Kitab Kuning (Islamic classical books) for quite a long time. The presence of a digital media transformation called al-maktabah sya>milah is an alternative for searching information on classical books in Pesantrens. Then, this article questions on the emergence of al-maktabah syu> mila NU fi>ha software at the Pesantren Assalafiyyah, Mlangi, Sleman, Yogyakarta in response to the presence of al-maktabah sya>milah. Syu>mila NU containing digital books by mu'tabar ulama taught in Pesantren Salaf, while Syamilah containing books by Arabic ulama allegedly carrying Wahhabi understanding. This has led to a contestation between the two Kitab Kuning digital applications in the Pesantren Salaf. This article uses an interpretive qualitative descriptive approach from library document data, multi-site, and software. The author analyzes the information on both the software and the related web. Maktabah syu> mila NU fi>ha software development is defensive which aims to fortify the Pesantren from the influence of the syamilah maktabah understanding which brings Wahhabi; a intolerant, apolitical, anti-tradition, and transnational understanding. The presence of this application appeared various responses from the pesantrens. Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Lirboyo, Kediri tends to be skeptical whether Pesantren Assalafiyyah Mlangi, Yogyakarta is more neutral, and Pesantren Salafiyyah Syafi’iyyah Sukorejo, Situbondo tends to be moderate and optimistic. This article points to the three theories of the spread of Islam in Lampung. First, the theory states that Islam was originated in Banten. The second theory claims that Islam came from Pagaruyung West Sumatra through the west Lampung region. The third theory maintains that Islam was carried by Ulama from Palembang then spread from the north of Lampung. This article also confirms the contribution of Lampung ulamas. These Islamic spreaders' arrival ran accommodatingly without opposing local tradition and culture that are in line with the basic principles of Islamic teachings. The arrival of Islam enriched Piil Pesenggiri's philosophy, Pegung Pakai philosophy, and other cultural traditions. Islamic dissemination ulamas in Lampung have different backgrounds in terms of motives of the spread and their origins. The deployment strategy is done individually as well as organized. The ulama have a network with the sultanate's political power and dealing with local rulers in Lampung. This relationship was reflected in political, economic, and familial agreements or kinship relationships through marriage between noble families from Banten and Lampung. This paper specifically analyzes the activities of da’wah of Majelis Salawat Ahbabul Mustafa led by Habib Syech, a Habib, a descendant of the Prophet who lived in Solo, Central Java. Recently, a similar da’wah was made by young Habib to gain popularity among the youth in several major cities in Indonesia. By using the media of tambourine instrumental music in reading the Shalawat, the da’wah of Habib Syech successfully attracts the interest of many participants who mostly came from groups of young people. In the middle of the hard blasphemies of the Salafi Preacher (Dai) against the majority of the religious practices of Indonesian Muslims, the Majelis Salawat led by Habib Shaykh conducted the ‘counter attack’ by means of-ways and elegant manners.
