With the evolution of Network-on-Chip (NoC) communication for complex SoC, the need for fault tolerant systems have increased at a speed. In an attempt to design a good BIST architecture, this paper proposes a Cellular Automata Rule 45 based BIST architecture for star topology NoC. Power, resource utilization and timing reports are generated for the proposed architecture and are compared against the most popular and widely used LFSR based BIST architecture. It guarantees security, surveillance and solace to the user and make their life more comfortable. In developed countries, many households have smart home automation systems which detect their surroundings and act on the data to trigger home appliances such as fan, air conditioners etc. But these systems are not very popular in developing nations as compared to developed nations because of their pricing. Also, almost all of these systems are hard coded so they just make some decisions based on iterative conditions. The system has neither user defined nor conditional control. There comes the need of Voice Controlled Home Automation Systems (VCHAS). The proposed ZigBee based home automation system and Wi-Fi network are unified through a mutual home gateway. A Geospatial Technology can provide a sustainable LULC with a good accuracy as compared to traditional way. From past few decades a Panchromatic and Multispectral data were widely used; now with advent in Geospatial Technology a Hyperspectral data can be available for it. Hyperspectral imagery contains diverse information from a wide range of wavelengths. Due to the mix-structure of an urban area, it is very difficult to identify and the classification of an objects. For this work EO-1 Hyperion imaging data were used. Then layer stacking was performed in ENVI tool, after this data was converted to Band Interleaved by Line (BIL) format. Hyperion data has 242 bands but few bands were identified as Bad bands, by removing these bad bands only 196 bands were considered for making Hypercube. In this paper, we are proposing a novel and efficient technique for detecting a single fault and identifying the fault location within the biochip. Along with that it can also calculate the traversal time if the biochip is fault free. The traversal of the microarray is carried out by scanning the intermediate cells and the edges by special types of movement pattern RDRD (Right-Down-Right-Down) and DRDR (Down-Right-Down-Right) for left and right diagonal electrode traversal respectively and the boundary cells and edges are traversed in clockwise direction by moving the test droplets. If a fault is detected then the proposed technique also locates it by backtracking the droplet. Agricultural drought is a term which explains about reduction in the yield of crops due to abnormalities in rainfall as well as decline in soil moisture that affects agriculture, economy, social aspect, and environment. A trivial variation in the monsoon mainly affects the yield as well as the crops significantly. With the help of remote sensing data agricultural monitoring, management and assessment is done to calculate vegetation and temperature variations. Thuraiyur taluk in Tiruchirappalli District, of Tamilnadu (India) lies in a plain region between 11° 10′ N latitude and 78° 37′ E longitude. It depends mainly on the agriculture therefore the influence of drought affects the yield and the living of humans. The current study deals with the vegetation stress in the Thuraiyur taluk of Tiruchirappalli district with the usage of the Land Surface Temperature (LST) and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). The Landsat data is utilized for the computation of LST and NDVI. The mixture of LST and NDVI, helps to monitor agricultural drought and also as a counsel for farmers. By computing the relationship between LST and NDVI, it is noted that they have a high negative correlation. The correlation between LST and NDVI is −0.763 for the year 2013 and −0.685 for the year 2016. The objective of this paper is modeling and simulation of the rotary pendulum QUBE-Servo of Quanser© using second-generation SimMechanics™ toolbox in MATLAB. Results obtained with physical modeling using SimMechanics are validated with the analytical modeling of setup. Physical modeling and simulation are discussed in detail. Further, different control techniques like Pole Placement (PP), Proportional-Derivative (PD) and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control are implemented for balancing the inverted pendulum in upright position. The most important block of communication system is oscillator. This paper focused on implementation of different types of oscillator (Ring oscillator, LC oscillator & Voltage control oscillator) for ISM & Wi-Fi band applications using 90nm, 65nm & 45nm technologies using microwind 3.5 software. For ring oscillator developed using 65nm & 45nm saves the area up to 40% & 80% as compared to ring oscillator developed with 90nm technology but for this we have to inject parasitic to get the desired frequency band. For LC oscillator desired band of frequency can be achieved by compromising large area as we need to develop inductor on chip. To overcome this problem the voltage control oscillator (VCO) is designed. Due to high vulnerability in security, many attacks such as black hole attacks may occur at the time of routing in routing protocols. AODV is one of the routing protocols which is also affected by such attacks.
