People prone to cardiovascular diseases, in emergency case such as cardiac arrest and those who need 24-hour monitoring have to access those diagnosis tools frequently is practically bothersome. So, an easy, inexpensive continuous heart rate monitoring mobile device must be introduced. This research study highlights on measuring heart rate information with Arduino Uno and pulse sensor and sending the processed data to a remote location via Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication module and ESP8266 wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) module. A detailed comparison is made between the two devices in terms of speed, performance and cost.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115458345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerical investigation is performed between the analyte detection ranges from 1.38 to 1.42 by using the finite element method (FEM). Simulation by this method reveal the maximum wavelength sensitivity (WS) of 20,000 nm/RIU and the amplitude sensitivity (AS) of 718 RIU-1. The maximum sensor resolution (SR) is computed as 5×10–5 RIU. In addition, the maximum value of the confinement loss (CL) is as low as 2.15 × 10-4 dB/cm. Therefore, the sensor can be compatible for detecting anonymous bio-molecular analytes on account of having remarkable sensing performance.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123988219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Marine environments are still not explored and communication ways are not so fast comparative to other scenarios. With forthcoming technology 5G and mmWave, maritime channels are need to be explored for more research opportunities and development with advanced mobile communications. From this motivation, this research is based on investigation of comparative analysis of power delay profiles, path loss characteristics in maritime channels considering 38, 60 and 73 GHz of mmWave. 60 GHz is the license free spectrum and suitable for short distance communication, water attenuation is minimum in 38 GHz and 73 GHz theoretically provides higher bandwidth, these factors are considered in this work. In this study, various delay spread, signal strength deviation at receiving end, loss exponents, delay parameters, signal-to-noise ratio are surveyed for both direct line sight (LOS) and Non-direct visual sight (NLOS) conditions, such parameters define channel impulse responses in wireless maritime channels, inside high speed water vehicle. This study will provide channel characteristics in specific scenarios and further research direction in various aspects in this area.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122026345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

UHAA structured beamformer is chosen due to its symmetrical structure and it can scan signal over 360 degree. The proposed array’s performance is contrasted with existing concentric circular antenna arrays (CCAA) to justify the superiority of the proposed UHAA. Moreover, optimal and delay-and-sum beamforming techniques are applied to the UHAA in the appearance of interference signal and steering direction error, and performance degradation of optimal UHAA is observed if the desired signal slightly deviates from the desired direction. To resolve this problem, a robust technique called fixed diagonal loading (FDL) technique is applied which makes the system robust enough. From the simulation result, improved half power beam-width (HPBW) as well as directivity are observed as both are 20.83% and 42.70% better than analysed CCAA. UHAA requires less area to install compared to CCAA for same antenna elements, and it also exhibits superior outcome if there is a error in expected signal direction and steering direction.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"301 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131958094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These algorithms can be single objective or multi-objective, depending on the intended result. Both Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm (MOEA) and Multi-Objective Differential Evolution Algorithm for Mining Numeric Association Rules (MODENAR) are multi-objective algorithms but uses different objectives. MOEA is an algorithm that mines association rules from a dataset that contains any type of attributes. Contrarily, MODENAR was proposed for mining numeric association rules and this algorithm was not compared to any other algorithms by the authors. To our apprehension, no such work has been done till now that compares MODENAR with other association rule mining algorithms. So, this paper will compare MODENAR with another association rule mining algorithm, named MOEA and demonstrate the results by applying above mentioned algorithms on different datasets.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"04 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127435430","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Hyper Gamma fading model is befitting to the cognitive radio channel as it is dynamic in nature. So, with a view to investigate the security of Hyper Gamma fading channel, the closed form expressions (CFEs) of ergodic secrecy capacity (ESC), probability of non-zero secrecy capacity (PNSC) and secure outage probability (SOP) have been derived in this paper. The numerical data is also presented here to understand the effects of environment fading and average signal to noise ratio of the communication medium. Moreover, the numerical data are verified through Monte-Carlo Simulations.","PeriodicalId":320507,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer & Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE)","volume":"51 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127996380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
