This adaptation happens whenever a change, a failure or a bug is introduced within the execution environment. It is done by a causal bidirectional connection between design and execution artifacts supported by feedback-loop information. We developed an approach to integrate a secure lightweight dynamic adaptation of access control policies when new security requirements are introduced at runtime. The proposed runtime adaptation is supported by a fast checking of design models at runtime against security constraints. A vehicle-2-x security case study is used to demonstrate the benefits of our approach.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126711364","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of these controls, in a Management Control Systems, is to ensure that the employee behaviours are consistent with the objectives and strategies of the organization. However, model checking suffers from the so-called state explosion problem, which says that the state space grows exponentially in the number of concurrent processes. In this paper we consider a property-based methodology developed to combat the state explosion problem. Our focus is two fold: (i) we show how model checking can be applied in the context of business process modelling and analysis, (ii) we evaluate and test the reduction methodology using an academic case study. Our investigations suggest that the business community can benefit from this efficient methodology developed in formal methods since it can detect errors that were missed by traditional verification techniques. Thus, formal methods can be adopted to enhance the effectiveness of the organizational control together with an increase of process efficiency levels. We show and discuss the obtained experimental results.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129478523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The deadlines impose time progress conditions (TPC) on the locations of the TPAIO. In addition to detecting non conform or out of the time limits outputs of an implementation, our tests also detect TPC violations. Our method proceeds by a one-clock determinization of the TPAIO, followed by the computation of a reach ability automaton aiming at covering the reachable transitions and locations of the TPAIO, w.r.t. The stack constraints. Each RA transition records an execution path of the TPAIO. To get the tests, we add to these execution paths the fail verdicts issued from the determinization. Their ability to detect non conform implementation is assessed by mutation: altered implementations are automatically generated from a specification by application of some mutation operators that we define.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125033212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, many research look at treating those properties as soon as the architectural design phase. In this paper, the modeling and the verification of these properties in UML2.0 software architectures are aimed. In order to achieve this, we proposed a profile that extends the UML2.0 component meta-model. The new profile, called CUMLQoS, is able to model the UML2.0 software architectures equipped with qualitative properties. Our verification approach, which is based on the qualitative contracts established between both server and client components, propose to use the Acme/Armani ADL as a checking machine of UML2.0 software architectures that derives from our CUMLQoS profile. This choice of this ADL is justified by its ability to formal verification of different types of properties related to software architectures.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130075756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It becomes a valuable contributor and cost-saver for companies with the introduction of orchestration platforms as a Service (OaaS) to perform the services that support a variety of business processes such as BPEL. In this paper we will investigate three issues i) exploiting the minimum of resources to execute a maximum number of processes, ii) preventing possible overload to the server, and iii) minimizing the dynamic energy consumption which becomes one of the main challenges for large-scale computing, such as in cloud data center. As a solution for these challenges we propose a temporal partitioning based on dynamic reconfiguration approach. Our work aims to reduce the dynamic energy consumption. The proposed approach is based on two main steps: 1) Estimate the energy consumption of BPEL processes 2) Temporal and dynamic partitioning of BPEL process based on reconfigurable architecture in order to minimize overall energy consumption on each BPEL process at run time.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126018228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Once a grid computing is context sensitive system, so its possible to deal jointly with user's satisfaction and system performance. In this sense the quality of context can be used to process the context informations and provide several management decisions. So in this paper we propose a model to deal with user's satisfaction and system performance using quality of context. Experimental results shows improvements in the environment performance when applied our model in a grid scenario for the most execution tests.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115694263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As real-life processes tend to be less structured and more flexible, clustering techniques are used to divide traces into clusters, such that similar types of behavior are grouped in the cluster. Educational process mining is an emerging field in the educational data mining (EDM) discipline, concerned with developing methods to better understand students' learning habits and the factors influencing their performance. However, the obtained models, usually, cannot fit well to the general students' behaviour and can be too large and complex for use or analysis by an instructor. These models are called spaghetti models. In the present work, we propose to use a two steps-based approach of clustering to improve educational process mining. The first step consist of creating clusters based employability indicators and the second step consist on clustering the obtained clusters using the AXOR algorithm which is based on traces profiles in order to refine the obtained results from the first step. We have experimented this approach using the tool ProM Framework and we have found that this approach optimizes at the same time, both the performance/suitability and comprehensibility/size of the obtained model.","PeriodicalId":319817,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 25th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124637155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
