The semicircular open channel plays a significant role in various applications, and it is of interest to calculate its discharge. This paper presents the application of the momentum equation to evaluate the use of a smooth inverted semicircular channel end as devised to calculate the discharge if the end depth is known. The experiments were performed in three separate semicircular inverted channels, with diameters of 15.0 cm, 18.4 cm, and 24.2 cm. The experimental data used to develop equations for calculating the discharge from known end depth. Where the end depth is related to the critical depth, and the end depth ratio value was found to be 0.8102 for a critical depth-diameter ratio of up to 0.40. On the other hand, the relationships for end depth ratio and non-dimensional discharge are defined. In this paper, a 2D numerical study is presented to estimate the performance of the SCPPs while varying the collector angle, chimney diverging angle, variable solar radiation and ambient temperature and some geometrical designs. Numerical models run with solar load discrete ordinates (DO) and realizable k-ɛ turbulence models. System is defined by the collector height =50 mm, the chimney diameter =160 mm, the collector diameter =2750 mm and the chimney height =3000 mm. its investigated for each case the profile of magnitude velocity, air temperature, pressure, incident radiation and turbulence characteristics were presented. The effective choice of the best geometry is based on the maximum value of the air velocity inside the SCPP. Results indicates that a negative collector-roof positively increases the air velocity, and the output power. Improving the accuracy of the forecasted results can improve the efficiency of the inventory control system as well as the adoption of beneficial strategic decisions in the face of the uncertainty inherent in the demand. The effectiveness of hybrid forecast models in predicting the stable and accurate results has made them a useful tool in counteracting the uncertainty and complexities of the time series structure. In the present study, a hybrid model will be introduced for forecasting the intermittent demand that can impressively overcome the limitations of individual models while simultaneously using the unique advantages of these models in dealing with the complexities in the intermittent demand. The accuracy in the forecasting ability is also increased by suitable examination of the structures and patterns in the intermittent data. The research modeling was done based the Croston's method. The proposed hybrid model is based on CV2 and ADI criteria improving the efficacious of the hybrid model in examining the inappropriate structures as reducing the cost of inappropriate modeling, while increasing the prediction model accuracy. Using these results prevents the hybrid model from being confused or weakened in the modeling of all groups and reduces the risk of choosing the disproportionate model. Some on-site investigations have been made to explore the deformation characteristics of this slope and structural geology analyses and outcomes of geological investigations in-situ are firstly described. Subsequently, the discrete element method has been employed in simulations to elucidate the deformation behavior exhibited by under-dip slopes under the long-term influence of gravity and material deterioration. The simulated deforming patterns have proven to be in strong agreement with the actual deformation at each stage. The results suggest that sliding, buckling and toppling can occur on the studied slope in the deformation process. Moreover, the progressive failure process of the slope during unloading excavation has also been simulated by the discontinuum mode UDEC. The obtained deformation and stress distribution of the slope have proven to well-match the field measurements, which verifies the practicability of the UDEC model. The quadratic drag model is selected on the basis of the analysis of the mechanical model of the fluidic micro-body, considering the change of the cross-sectional area caused by velocity and breakup of the water jet. The boundary between breakup and atomization are clarified, and the change of diameter and area of the droplet are also discussed based on the theory of liquid jet breakup, to build a dynamic breakup model of air resistance and broken jet. The jet trajectory of the fire water monitor is mainly influenced by the initial velocity, pitching angle, air resistance, and other factors. In this paper, the influence of different parameters on the jet drop point is considered. The analysis and comparison of all the points are calculated and compared, and the range of uncertainty is obtained. Cement production is a major cause of carbon dioxide emission in the construction industry and utilization of a large number of aggregates in concrete is causing scarcity of natural resources and irreversible depletion. The practice of utilizing industrial wastes in the production of concrete can be a useful solution. In this research, the green concrete of enhanced properties is produced by incorporation of milled glass as partial replacement of cement and fine aggregates are replaced by granular steel slag with different dosages. Ten types of concrete mixes substituting cement by glass powder (10%, 20% and 30%) and sand by granular steel slag (40%, 60% and 80%) were assessed in terms of rheological, mechanical and microstructural properties. Results indicated that concrete having 80% granular steel slag and 20% glass powder shows maximum increase of 42%,  16%, 16% and 14% in splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, modulus of elasticity and compressive strength respectively. Scanning electron microscopy depicts the formation of secondary calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) and improved packing density in concrete mixes having granular steel slag and glass powder. The utilized global features consist of 11 features and separated into two categories; gross shape features (7) and moment based features (4), respectively. In case of local features, only the curve points on Bezier curves are accepted as discriminative features. With the purpose of reducing the search space and improving the performance of the system, firstly the class label of leaf object is determined by conducting the global features with respect to predefined threshold values. Once the target class is determined, the local features have performed in order to assign the leaf species into a unique class. In classification stage, the k-nearest neighbor (k-nn) algorithm has utilized based on the Hausdorff distance. The proposed classification scheme provides high accuracy rate as achieving the 96.78% performance on Flavia and the 94.66% on SLID dataset.
