This industry has two contradictory impacts where on the one hand it increases production efficiency with automation, but on the other hand, advanced technology causes dehumanization which contributes to not being fully absorbed of HRST. This paper aims to map the absorption of the technology-based industry in Indonesia through data on job vacancies from four technology-based companies in Indonesia over a period of one year. The result is that the data shows that HRST are not absorbed in areas outside the big cities in Indonesia. On the other hand, some of the needs for HRST are distributed to the global market, especially in Singapore and Bengaluru, India. a tendency to reach the demand of HRST in the global network, especially from regions that are the world's technological centers such as Bengaluru-India and Singapore","PeriodicalId":31881,"journal":{"name":"STIPM STI Policy and Management Journal","volume":"28 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88366354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It brings about many changes in several fields including changes in public policy. In developing countries, public policy for innovation is not easily implemented, including in Indonesia. Though Government of Indonesia has many inovation programs at national level, but practice of innovation policy is still not optimal. This study is s qualitative research method using primary and secondary data sources. In nut shell, This study is aimed to explain key determinant factors hindering innovation policy in Indonesia, particularly to answer why classic issue of innovation problem is still unresolved in recent condition. This study uses the Generalized Least Square (GLS) balanced data panel method with annual data for the 2009-2018 period. The results of this study indicate that capital investment has a negative and significant influence on the level of internationalization. However, this study found that large capital investment moderates the effect of capital investment on the level of internationalization, so that the relationship between the two is nonlinear or U-shaped. This study also found that company size did not moderate the relationship between capital investment and the level of internationalization, so that the negative effect of capital investment on the level of internationalization did not differ in large companies.","PeriodicalId":31881,"journal":{"name":"STIPM STI Policy and Management Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82165604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mobile application (app) designed to assist farmers decision making has started to revolutionize the agriculture sector of Indonesia. The app offer solutions to farmers by providing information of season prediction, cropping pattern, recommended fertilizers and varieties and so on. This paper aims to review a framework related to diffusion and adoption of digital farming technologies that integrating farm level evidence then compare it with local data based on the empirical view of public agricultural R&D agency. The result indicates that the framework could be the basis for application to foster the adoption of digital technologies where the highlight provides important aspects of the adoption process. This paper aims to provide an analysis on recent development of eco-innovation research in Indonesia and provide some potential avenues for future research. Analysis is carried out using systematic literature review (SLR) techniques to synthesize knowledge development of a scientific field in a structured, transparent, and reliable manner. The search was conducted on three academic databases, including Scopus, Google Scholar, and the local academic database of Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital). Data analyzed using content analysis. The analysis shows that scholarly publication of eco-innovation research in Indonesia is still rare. The topics discussed can be categorized into several categories such as the driver of eco-innovation, R&D for eco-innvation, eco-innovation performance, which addresses various types of eco-innovation and different level of analysis. Potential research avenues are then identified at the end of the paper. This is the first systematic review on eco-Innovation in Indonesia, and first combining systematic search strategy in the both local and international academic database.","PeriodicalId":31881,"journal":{"name":"STIPM STI Policy and Management Journal","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81950603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the context of a developing economy, like Indonesia, the goal of international research collaboration is to increase scientific capacity of researchers  in developing economy, however limited information how the international research collaboration could promote innovation. This paper aims to reveal research results in medical research collaboration between institution in Indonesia and other countries and how the collaboration could promote innovation. Case study of eight international collaboration research projects in medical research were utilized, in which Indonesian researchers worked collaboratively with foresign researchers. The reseach found that international research collaboration has opened opportunities for Indonesian researchers to learn and upgrade their capability and be able to contribute to scientific knowledge. Collaborative research in the medical areana requires long term research and significant funding support. However, their role in supporting innovation and economic performance of MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) is still very small.  The objective of this research is to determine what are the success factors in managing R&D projects at a PRC in Indonesia, particularly in providing solving problems of MSMEs. Two case studies of R&D Projects from a PRC ‘X’ were selected, namely: organic fertilizer project and appropriate technology project.  Both projects are quite different in terms of the research process. By using qualitative method, all R&D process elements were investigated. Results of the study shows that in general both case studies have indicated success factors that make R&D project success and effectively manage and grouped them into three common categories, namely project management process; project resources;  and project environments.
