Hidayat, Hari Muharam","doi":"10.33751/jmp.v10i1.5060","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33751/jmp.v10i1.5060","url":null,"abstract":"IMPROOVING SCHOOL EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHER SELF-EFFICACY AND SCHOOL CLIMATEThis research was intended to reveal whether teacher self-efficacy and school climate have a relationship with school effectiveness. The research used a correlational research method. Data collection was carried out on 83 private vocational school teachers in Ciawi. Data analysis was performed using inferential statistics using SPSS version 22.0. The research results were concluded based on statistical analysis and  resulted in 3 conclusions; 1) there was a positive relationship between self-efficacy (X1) and school effectiveness (Y). The correlation coefficient (ry1) was 0.076, and self-efficacy contributed 0.58% of the increasing in school effectiveness. 2) There was a positive relationship between school climate (X2) and school effectiveness (Y). The correlation coefficient (ry2) was 0.905, and the school climate contributed 81.9% to the increasing of school effectiveness. 3) There was a positive relationship between self-efficacy (X1) and school climate (X2) altogether to school effectiveness (Y). The correlation coefficient (ry1.2) was 0.998. The self-efficacy and school climate altogether contributed 99.5%  of school effectiveness. The population of this study were 183 PNS teachers and 126  samples were selected using the Yamane formula with an error tolerance was 5%.. Data were collected using an instrument in the form of  questionnairies and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that therewere three positive and significant relationships. Firstly, there was a positive and significant relationship between situational leadership style and the performance of PNS teacher, where the correlation coefficient was 0.648. Secondly, there was a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and teacher performance, where the correlation coefficient value was 0.585. The study was conducted in Vocational High School at Ciawi Region. The population of the study was 136 teachers and the sample taken was 102 teachers which were selected using proportional random sampling and data collection was got through questionnaires. The data analysing technique was done using correlation regression partial and multiple. The study result pointed out that there was positive correlation between self efficacy and teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,596 and the determination coefficient r2y1=0,355), there was positive correlation between visionary leadership and teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry2 =0,545 where the determination coefficient r2y2=0,297), and also there was positive correlation of self efficacy and visionary leadership to teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,648 and the determination coefficient r2y12= 0,419). The study utilyzed a correlational approach and SITOREM analysis which consist of two independent variables, they were information literacy and interpersonal communication, and one dependent variable that was teaching effectiveness. This research was conducted at a private vocational school in Rancabungur District in 2021. The population in the research was 155 teachers and 112 samples were selected using proportional random sampling. The method used in this study was a survey and data analysis techniques, with statistical tests of correlation and simple liniear regression and multiple linear. The results were as follow; firstly, there was a significant positive relationship between literation information (X1) and Teaching Effectiveness (Y) variables where correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,494 and determination coefficient r2 = 0,244. Secondly, There was a significant positive relationship between Interpersonal communication variable (X2) with Learning Activity (Y), where the correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.788 and determination coefficient r2 = 0.620. Thirdly, there was a significant positive relation  between Literation Information (X1) and  Interpersonal Communication variable altogether compare with Learning Effectiveness (Y) which was pointed as correlation Coefficient ry12 = 0.825 and also Determination Coefficient r2y12 = 0.681. However, the operation of the library at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti is currently still managed in a conventional way. Starting from the data collection process to borrowing books is still done manually. Causing activities to be slow, inefficient and errors tend to be repeated frequently. So the Design of a Library Information System at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Using Visual Basic 2010 Programming Language and Supported by Mysql Database is the right solution to overcome these problems. Improvements in learning need to be done so that student learning outcomes in knowledge competence are above the KKM. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the make a match method with the aid of image media. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was carried out in two cycles and was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The subjects of this study were students of class VI SDN 11 Mandau, totaling 30 students. The results showed that the make a match method could improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of students who score above the minimum score criteria. In the pre-cycle there were 17 students (56.67%) who scored above the minimum score criteria and 13 students (43.33%) were still below the minimum score criteria. In the first cycle there were 22 students (73.33%) whose scores were above the minimum score criteria, there was an increase of 16.67% while 8 students (26.67%) were below the minimum score criteria. Sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri 4, berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Berbagai tantangan, masalah, dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh seorang pedidik, mulai dari penyebab siswa, keluarga siswa, serta fasilitas dan sumber daya yang kurang representatif, namun Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) terus menginstruksikan seluruh pendidik di semua tingkatan pendidikan untuk dapat membangun pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di rumah baik siswa maupun mahasiswa. Akibatnya, guru harus memainkan peran kunci dalam membimbing atau mengelola instruksi, dimulai dengan mempersiapkan, mengoordinasikan, menerapkan, dan meninjau, untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar selama pandemi COVID-19 yang sedang berlangsung, baik secara online maupun offline. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti ingin menganalisis seberapa efektif pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran dari sudut pandang guru. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 35 guru yang mengajar di tingkat Sekolah Menenengah Atas, baik dari sekolah negeri maupun swasta di wilayah Kabupaten Solok. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang disebarkan secara online menggunakan link ms.form. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, memperlihatkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran online telah terlaksana dengan efektif dilihat dari kesiapan guru. The initial research subjects were all teachers and students at SD 13 Pelangaikaciak.. The research location is in the Elementary School 13 PelangaiKaciak, using a qualitative approach. The data collection method used non-participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and field notes. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that school bullying occurred at the State Elementary School 13 PelangaiKaciak with the following results. The design of this study was descriptive method. Cluster random sampling was used to select the sample. The total number of sample was 62 students’. The data were collected through speaking test. The data was measured by considering five components of speaking. Based on the findings of this study, students speaking ability were low. The findings were proved by the evidence that 85.49% of them cannot tell their daily activities orally. Based on the findings, this study was suggested for English teachers to consider the five components of speaking when measuring students’ speaking ability and English teachers were suggested to provide more practices for those components of speaking.
