In this respect, access control is considered as the cornerstone and core element that should be well designed and implemented. However, this mission becomes more complex in IoT environments as they have additional and specific requirements such as heterogeneity, limited capacities of storage and computing as well as the huge number of the devices. Dealing with this issue, this paper proposes an 'emergence based' process aiming to benefit from this tremendous number of smart objects and extract the significant features that we cannot pick up in systems with smallest number. This new way to observe digital artifacts and their co-creation process is the indispensable prerequisite for the growth of an aware Digital Culture and for giving due importance to digitization and dematerialisation realized starting by an approach focused on data preservation and, to this goal, on the decisive role that the descriptive metadata play. The case study was the digitization project of the \"Historical Archive of the Giuseppe Laterza & Figli Publishing House\". Multimodality allows to create attractive and immersive applications for these devices which have been used in many different setups (museums, restaurants, music composition, schools...). Multimodality is also the key to accessible digital content, as it allows people with disabilities to use their preferred medium to get access to the information. However, most retail available interactive tabletops lack from one of the multimodality most multimedia devices have: audio output. Previous works emphasized on the importance to design a specific audio system dedicated to interactive tabletops in order to provide a satisfying user experience. Such attitude may lead to dramatic consequences, not only economically, but also socially and environmentally. To meet its dramatic consequences at different sides and to promote the use of multiple means of public transports by citizens, public authorities and transport operators seek to optimize the extraction as well as the exploitation of the multi modal information by developing Smart Interactive Systems of Assistance to the Multi modal Movement (ISAMM). However, finding the optimal multi modal path for a given person is far from being a simple task. Indeed, each potential user may have different or unique preferences regarding the: cost and / or duration of his/her journey, number of mode changes, comfort or safety levels desired. In the experiment, participants were subject to common types of online feedbacks such as star ratings, recommendations and expert advice. Somewhat surprisingly, such online cues had no impact on market shares, but a significant difference emerged as far as market volume was concerned. Our objective is to propose an hybrid approach, based on a combination of collaborative and content-based filtering. We proceed in two steps. The first step consists on exploiting user information for social networks to update the user profile and to improve recommender system. Indeed, user profiles have an important role in multi-agent recommender systems. The information stored in them improves the system's generated recommendations. The second step consists on a decentralized peer-to-peer architecture. There is a natural link between peer-to-peer systems and multi-agent systems. Thus, as part of our approach, we view our distributed collaborative filtering system as a set of independent agents, an agent for each peer in the system. The system was developed aiming at proposing an innovative approach in research and retrieval of information in historical digital libraries and archives. This approach is based on application to data humanities of the fourth knowledge paradigm that underlies data science. Following this approach, the algorithms are used to deduce new research hypotheses through the discovery of models directly inferred from large digital libraries. The system has two modules: ICR++ module and ICR M-Evo (Multi-Evolution) module. The first performs the graph or word recognition by a training process based on segmentation of Regions Of Interest (ROI). The M-Evo module uses a graphic matching algorithm based on a shape contour recognition feature, without any segmentation process. The system was tested on case studies related to digital libraries reproducing ancient artifacts. The HES-SO with its six faculties and its network of schools of higher education, spread throughout seven states (Cantons) in Switzerland, is a recognized player within the Swiss and international landscape of higher education. This educational site mirrors more complex international educational environments on a smaller scale. It is therefore an interesting site in which initiatives' life cycle are easily monitored. In order to set a framework for our study, concepts derived from Open Science, in particular Open Access, Open Data, and Open Innovation are defined; more general common notions such as digital information and \"Openness\" are contextualized; then the social and cultural environment with which the HES-SO interacts is described. More specifically, the several levels of interaction that structure Switzerland (canton/state, federal, inter-state or national) are explained. Following that, we address the challenges that the HES-SO faces and list them for each of the defined concepts. The education and social aspects for these challenges are underlined. Tools and contents that were developed at the HES-SO are presented in a third section in particular for the Open Access concept. Néanmoins, il devait se mettre à la page et se réinventer en prenant le virage du digital. Dans ce travail, nous avons mis au clair les raisons de cette prolongation de la vie de l'imprimé. Nous avons surtout insisté sur le rô le joué par des technologies comme les codes-barres 2d et la réalité augmentée pour faciliter la convergence avec le numérique. Ces technologies ont permis l'apparition d'un nouveau type de documents hybrides dans lesquels l'imprimé et le numérique sont complémentaires. Il s'agit du document augmenté ou connecté. Nous avons ainsi montré à quel point ces technologies, en créant des ponts entre l'imprimé et le numérique, permettent au papier et aux autres supports physiques d'avoir un nouveau souffle et coexister avec le numérique. Au lieu de rupture, on parle plutôt de convergence entre l'imprimé et le numérique.
