However, little is known about managing such partnership from an industry partner’s perspective. Understanding industry partner’s perspective is important as it may help the university to better manage the collaboration process, while keeping the focus on providing students with a positive project-based learning (PBL) experience. This study surveyed 33 industry partners to examine university-industry partnerships in a PBL setting from an industry partner’s perspective. The results show that project output needs to cater to the actual need, requirement, and expectation of the industry partner. Also, there must be efficient communication between industry partners, academics, and students for the collaboration to be successful. By understanding how to manage such university-industry partnership from the perspectives of industry partners, it would help universities to improve the PBL pedagogy in their curriculum. However, the performance of Orang Asli (indigenous) children in science education is still lagging far behind as a result of their difficulty in understanding scientific concepts of science which they feel are foreign to their culture. Thus, a needs analysis study was conducted to identify the science topics that are the most difficult for primary school year five Semai Orang Asli children to understand and the elements of funds of knowledge (FOK) that can be applied in science teaching for these difficult topics. This needs analysis was conducted using survey research design with interview method. The study sample comprised three students and four teachers in an Orang Asli school in the district of Slim River, Perak. The needs analysis found that Electricity is the most difficult topic to be taught to and understood by the Orang Asli children. In addition, the findings also showed that the elements of FOK of the Orang Asli such as family values, hobbies, parents’ occupation, language, religion, tradition and school’s co-curricular activities can be applied in science teaching to bring the science concepts that are considered difficult into their lives. In particular, it is investigated whether during the planning and implementation of teaching teachers proceed to specific teaching actions that have as their focus the student, such as collecting information before the beginning of the teaching process about the students' learning readiness, learning profile and interests, adapting the teaching of a teaching unit to areas that were not understood by the students, using a variety of ways and means in the presentation of the new content of the learning unit, using a variety of methods and media in the presentation of the new content of the learning unit, and using a variety of methods and media in order to improve the learning process. The research was conducted with a sample of two hundred and ten teachers who taught in primary schools in Greece. A structured questionnaire was used as a research tool. Environmental education is crucial in solving the environmental issues and enhance ethical behaviour towards the environment. However, since environmental education is conducted across the curriculum, the application of environmental education depends on the creativity of the teacher. Therefore, this study aims to explore the implementation approaches of environmental education in Integrated Islamic Science Schools based on the teachers’ perspectives. This qualitative study was conducted using interview from 9 teachers from two Integrated Islamic Science School; four science teachers, four Islamic education teachers and an advisory teacher of Geography and Environmental Club. Data from teacher's interview transcriptions has been analyzed according to the theme of environmental education approach that were implemented by teachers. The findings show that the implementations of environmental education in the Integrated Islamic Science Schools have been implemented through formal and informal education. The integration of environmental education was also supported by the administrators through learning activities in the classroom and co-curriculum. Coupled with feedback, this practice is intended to assist them in improving their speaking skills particularly in the language. Providing feedback to the learners for assessment practices has become a vital element in the newly revised course like English for Oral Presentation. Instructors are required to evaluate learners’ assessment practices and provide feedback for the speaking activities to give room for the learners to improve their oral presentations. However, this new structure of the course has impacted the instructors in many ways as they need to wholeheartedly commit to the practices submitted by the learners. This somehow leads to unnecessary stress among the instructors as they need to adhere to the deadlines given. Therefore, this study investigates the perceptions of the instructors on the assessment practices in an oral presentation course and their perceptions on how the assessments can be improved. Qualitative research methodology was employed with purposive sampling technique being utilised in choosing the participants for the interview. After gaining consent from the participants, interview sessions were conducted, recorded and transcribed. The data were then analysed utilising thematic analysis. The findings reported that the instructors were positive towards the impacts of the newly revised course of the oral presentation as learners have improved their presentation skills, enhanced their self-confidence and integrated other skills upon completing the practices.
