The aim is to understand more deeply the relationship between aspects of GCG and the effectiveness of the PIK-Remaja organization. The research was conducted in several areas in Surakarta, including Serengan, Banjarsari, Jebres, Pasar Kliwon, and Laweyan. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting primary data through interviews using questionnaires. The results show that aspects of GCG such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness have a significant influence on organizational effectiveness. These findings underscore the criticality of imbuing robust governance protocols within PIK-Remaja's operational framework to augment its efficacy in catering to the needs of the youth demographic across Surakarta. Consequently, the implications extend beyond organizational realms, permeating policymaking spheres and stakeholder engagement strategies, thereby fostering a conducive environment for nurturing youth-centric initiatives anchored in sound governance principles to flourish and yield profound societal dividends","PeriodicalId":317585,"journal":{"name":"Journal of International Conference Proceedings","volume":" 627","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141127573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression models using the SPSS program. The data used in this study are the annual financial statements of companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were 122 non-classical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. After purposive sampling, the final sample consisted of 42 companies so that the total sample was 126 data. The results of multiple linear regression testing show support for the hypotheses of this study: (1) accounting conservatism has a significant effect on investment efficiency, (2) ownership concentration has a significant effect on investment efficiency, and (3) debt maturity has no effect on investment efficiency. In conclusion, these findings highlight the importance of accounting conservatism and ownership concentration in influencing investment efficiency. However, debt maturity does not appear to have a significant impact on investment efficiency. These insights can guide policymakers and practitioners in making informed decisions to enhance investment practices and optimize resource allocation.","PeriodicalId":317585,"journal":{"name":"Journal of International Conference Proceedings","volume":" 686","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141127485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Supplier selection methods are vital for purchasing and procurement departments, as they directly influence organizational success. By carefully assessing suppliers, these departments can ensure cost efficiency by negotiating favorable terms and prices and guaranteeing high-quality products or services that meet established standards. By employing qualitative research methods, the research scrutinizes the criteria, decision-making processes, and challenges in selecting suppliers through analysis of the methods. The result indicates that the Fuzzy AHP emerges as the most prominent method. The findings of this research contribute to the existing body of knowledge by offering valuable insights and practical implications for improving supplier selection processes within automotive companies. Interestingly, nearly 25% of coffee drinkers are social drinkers, which means they enjoy coffee primarily when catching up with friends at cafes. However, the coffee shop market is saturated, leading to fierce competition among coffee shops struggling to retain customers. Loyalty is scarce, with most customers flitting between cafes. This study explores whether customer satisfaction mediates the impact between sensory marketing and loyalty. This study aims to analyze and test this connection within the Indonesian coffee shop landscape. This research focuses on loyal customers of the chosen cafes, targeting those who have visited more than once. The method used in this study is quantitative with the technique of distributing questionnaires, then the results will be calculated using SMART PLS ver. 3.9 accompanied by descriptive analysis for explanation. The study indicates that sensory marketing strategies can boost customer satisfaction, which in turn contributes to loyalty. The research recommends that businesses focus on sensory marketing as it is vital for building lasting connections with customers and retaining their loyalty.","PeriodicalId":317585,"journal":{"name":"Journal of International Conference Proceedings","volume":" 933","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141127542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there are reports that Generation Z is uninterested in working for the government agency, thus government agencies need to understand the principles and values held by this young generation so as not to lose potential human resources in the future. Through an analysis of the work values dimensions, this study aims to identify the career preference of Generation Z. The respondents in this study were 102 Generation Z students at Putra Bangsa University, Indonesia. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and then analyzed with descriptive statistics via SPSS. The results show that the majority of Generation Z students prefer to work at State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) rather than being civil servants when they graduate from university. The work values believed by the group who want to work in BUMN and the group who want to become civil servants are explained in the results of this study. The results of this study provide an overview of the work values that are the principles of Generation Z so that it can help organizations understand the characteristics of Generation Z in the workplace.","PeriodicalId":317585,"journal":{"name":"Journal of International Conference Proceedings","volume":" December","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141127724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
