One of them is the use of smartphones as a travel tool such as booking accommodation, selecting destinations, searching for tourist locations, distance to tourist sites, weather at tourist sites, uploading travel memories, and other travel needs. This study aims to describe the social, economic, demographic variables of tourists in using smartphones as a travel tool in Bali. The basic needs of tourists such as hotels and restaurants are the main needs of tourists in browsing through smartphones. In addition, the conditions at the destination are also a relatively important need for tourists to know through the use of smartphones. Women as domestic tourists dominate the use of smartphones in traveling, most of whom are women who live in metropolitan areas. Meanwhile, for foreign tourists, it looks proportionally distributed based on the country of origin of the tourists. Those who are well-educated dominate the use of smartphones in traveling. The distribution of young and productive ages can also be seen clearly in using smartphones as a travel tool. Batara Water Sport, but this company has a way that is able to bring in tourists during this pandemic, the purpose of this study is to find out how different the methods of promotion carried out by PT. Batara Water Sport before the pandemic with during the pandemic, therefore this phenomenon is able to provide the background for this research. The type of data used in this research is qualitative data. The technique of determining the informants in this study is by using purposive sampling with three people as informants, while the data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. Collecting data by observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The result of this research is the promotion mix used by PT. Batara Water Sport during the pandemic, which is predominantly using electronic media as a media for product promotion designed to bring tourists to companies during the pandemic, such as providing discounts of up to 50%, one free game for consumers who use five games, and there are two special packages provided by companies during the Covid-19 pandemic, in contrast to before the pandemic, which only used printed media such as brochures, were able to bring tourists to the company. As a new activity for travel industry needs, it’s need  to do basic research for the for  marketing activities in the future to be monetize by looking at the quality of service, level of satisfaction, and interest of millennial generation to buy this service. By using cross-tabulation method and descriptive analysis techniques the findings of this study that the quality of good service is in line with the level of satisfaction and interest of millennials to buy virtual tour activities in the future with a range of rp.10.000- Rp .50.000 in each activity. The purpose of the research is to analyze the culture diversity, communication, teamwork performance on board the cruise ship as well as to analyze the communication as the mediator to link the culture diversity and the teamwork performance in working environment of Holland America Cruise Line. The research involved 110 cruise ship crews as specific respondents and using qualitative method with purposive sampling questionnaire method. The primary data is collected based on questionnaires and the interviews session with the respondents while the secondary data is obtained by literature study and from the previous researchs. Bali as the icon of Indonesia tourism also become one of destination for voluntourism. Tourist that decide in choosing voluntourism package have its own tourist characteristic. With the presence of tourists who choose the voluntourism package, it is necessary to examine the factors that influence purchasing decisions and their dominant factors. The purpose of this study is to determine tourist characteristic, the factors and dominant factors that influence foreign tourist decision choosing voluntourism package in IVHq Ubud, Bali. Data collection in this research using questionnaire and distributed online by google form to user of volunteer program in IVHq Ubud with total sample of 44 respondents. Sampling technique in this research using  purposive sampling. Data analysis technique using likert scale and factor analysis including validity test, and reliability test then the data processed by the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 18.0 program.  The result of analysis factors show that there are five factors including image factors with eigen value of 6.040, external factor with eigen value of  2.378 , psychology with eigen value of 1.681, physical evidence factor with eigen value  of 1.427, and product factor dengan eigen value 1.025. The data was collected through questionnaires then processed using crosstab analysis method and chi-square test. The results of this study are: 1) Characteristics of Middle Eastern tourists visiting Badung Regency are dominated by women, aged between 25 – 44 years, private employees, married, nationality of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt, purpose of visit for vacation, information about Bali from internet, mostly traveled by tour packages, length of stay between 4 - 6 days, and mostly it’s their first time visit to Bali. 2) Preferences as follows prefer for natural attractions, stay in Kuta/Legian area, prefer to use a car rental, reserved resort as their accommodation through booking services, dining at restaurants, a watersport as entertainment activities, online media as information services, tourism consulting services are Bali tourism research, do not use tourist flights, and do massages when traveling to Bali. The characteristics of Middle Eastern tourists that correlate with the preference of selection of tourist products in Badung Regency is; Age correlates with tourism consulting services. Jobs correlate with tourist transport services. Nationality correlates with tourism transportation services, travel services, accommodation provision, tourism consulting services, travel services, tirta tours, and spas. Resources correlate with tourist transportation services, and the provision of accommodation. Travel organizing correlates with tourist transportation services, travel services, food and beverage services, and travel services. Travel periods correlate with tourist attractions, and tourism consulting services. The need for transportation for travel activities provides an opportunity for Bananaz Bali to launch the first rental application in Bali. Based on Start-up, Bananaz Bali applies digital marketing and is also assisted by implementing brand awareness activities. This study requires 75 respondents with the criteria of over the age of 18 years old, and have already used Bananaz Bali services. All the data collected through questionnaires and then processed using data analysis techniques SEM Partial Least Square. In recent years, domestic tourist visits to Bali have been dominated by the millennial generation. To be able to visit Bali, tourists can pass through land and air routes. Apart from the presence of highways along the island of Java that facilitates access to Bali, the use of airways is still in demand by domestic tourists to date because it is more efficient in travel time. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the decision of airline selection by millennial domestic tourists to Bali. The sample of this research is millennial domestic tourists to Bali using the air route. The technique of determining the sample using purposive sampling on 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques were performed, namely: validity, reliability, and factor analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Six factors influence the decision to choose an airline to Bali. 2) The dominant factor in millennial domestic tourists choosing airlines to Bali is psychological factors. Forms of deviant behavior include aggressive behavior, behavior against authority, disrespectful behavior and stupid behavior. The need for a preventive social control effort in anticipating the occurrence of deviations in the behavior of foreign tourists in the future. Determination of informants using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis with the creditability test and the dependability test. The discussion resulted in a model of the construction display framework of preventive social control in Badung Regency, which was formed based on facts or the phenomenon of behavior deviations that often occur. In the introduction of the forms of deviant behavior of foreign tourists there are 4 forms and have a total of 17 behaviors and the total forms of such deviations require social control with a preventive approach. In the preventive approach there are 10 ways that can control foreign tourists to deviate. The role of tourism stakeholders (local communities, government and tourism entrepreneurs) is needed to distribute Do's and Don't's in Bali brochures. The brochure will later contain supporting pictures or illustrations to attract the reader's interest, understand the meaning in each sentence. Preventive social control material by dividing 3 material is presented, namely: Do's in Bali, Do's in Bali, and Why in Bali. Aside from companies that are constantly adaptive to technological advancements, consumers are becoming increasingly social and communal, so marketers need to understand new customer paths, and synergize online and offline interactions. This research aims to analyze the influence of electronic word of mouth towards tourist’s decision to do diving activities in Blue Season Bali. The technique of determining the sample used purposive sampling through distribution of questionnaires to 100 tourists who have experienced diving and accessed Blue Season Bali information on social media and website. This research applies data collection techniques which include: observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study, and documentation. Multiple linear regression was used as an analytical technique to measure the influence of variable X on variable Y with SPSS software version 18. The research findings show that the intensity variable (X1) partially has no positive and significant effect on decision to do diving activities (Y) with sig. value 0,812>alpha 0,05. Valence of opinion variable (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect with sig. value 0,010<alpha 0,05. Content variable (X3) partially has a positive and significant effect with sig. value 0,000<alpha 0,05. Intensity, valence of opinion, and content simultaneously have a positive and significant effect with sig. value 0,000<alpha 0,05.
