Despite facing challenges such as seniority, local customs, and societal perceptions, these obstacles do not deter women from their leadership roles in educational institutions. In fact, they strive to create better opportunities for future leadership. The challenges faced by female school principals are often influenced by the prevailing patriarchal culture in society and community life. This research employs a qualitative method with a gender analysis approach. The findings reveal that challenges related to seniority and local customs are dominant issues for female school principals in Aceh. Seniority comes into play when younger school principals are perceived as inexperienced leaders by their senior counterparts, even if they possess the necessary competencies for the role. On the other hand, local customs are influenced by the presence of teachers who are local residents in the school. Additionally, dealing with policy dualism in private schools and collaboration with committees presents straightforward challenges for school principals, influenced by the research location, student backgrounds, and school status. The strategies offered by school principals involve continuous engagement, fostering better collaboration, and early consultation with relevant stakeholders. However, social media promotes the enormous politicization of religion, such as the controversy surrounding the mixing of politics and religion in Indonesia's 2017 and 2019 general elections. This study aims at responding to the causes of social media supporting the consistency of the politicization of religion in the Pre-Presidential General Election 2024 by employing the politicization of religion in the past as a reflection of the current phenomenon. The research was conducted using a qualitative strategy and multimodal discourse analysis as an instrument for data analysis. Data was collected from the Twitter account @aniesbaswedan from October to December 2022 and previous studies. The research results indicate that the nuances can demonstrate indicators of the consistency of the politicization of religion through multimodal content, such as text, images, video, audio, and animation. The multimodal aspect can frame politics with an intriguing blend of religious attributes to obtain responses from netizens. Media convergence also stimulates interactive communication between netizens with others. So far, the Maldives is only known as a tourist spot. It is rarely known that all of the Maldives adhere to Islam. The British have also ruled the Maldives for 78 years, influencing the Maldives to some extent. What is the form of da'wah carried out by Abu al-Barakat, whose origins are still debated by historians? But what is clear is that he had a significant influence on the spread of Islam in the Maldives Islands, which is corroborated by classical sources such as the text attributed to Ibn Battuta and several contemporary books. We conducted a literature study on this paper, with a historical approach, by collecting data, verifying and analyzing the data thoroughly, and rewriting the results of the analysis inductively in a qualitative descriptive form. Islam spread in the Maldives peacefully without violence and continues to survive from Christian missionaries and Shiite sects who come to spread their views. One of the authentic Hadiths by Muslim states that Arabia will turn green again. This research aims to explain the greening of Arabia in the past and future perspectives from a geological and meteorological point of view. The method used in this study is a review study, combining the theory of plate tectonics on the Arabian Plate and the meteorological cycles that will occur in the future using the theory of natural radiative forcing in climate change. Discoveries of mollusks and fossils that lived in water in hot deserts provide evidence of past wet conditions before it turned hot again. There have been 18 warm climate cycles and 17 climate cycles since 5.3 million years ago. The results of this research indicate that Arabia will turn green again, both from a geological and meteorological approach. The geological approach estimates that Arabia will turn green again in approximately ~25 million years, while the meteorological approach suggests at least 13,000 years in the future when the Earth reaches its opposite precession peak. The influence of meteorological cycle periods is shorter compared to the long-term effects of plate movements. The implementation of halal certification involves many parties and government agencies because it relates to regulations, budgets, and others. Therefore, there needs to be cross-sectoral synergy and collaboration between ministries, local governments, and the private sector in accelerating the development of the halal ecosystem in Indonesia. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with a normative juridical approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and in-depth interviews with institutions participating in the free and regular halal certification program. The results of this study illustrate that in implementing halal certification, BPJPH as an institution that has the authority according to the mandate of the law has a big role in implementing halal certification in Indonesia. However, in practice, the BPJPH institution synergizes and collaborates more with private institutions such as universities, educational foundations, community organizations (ormas), and associations, compared to cross-sectoral fellow government agencies and local governments in the halal certification program. The consequences of crimes committed by these elites are enormous, affecting not only themselves but also their families, institutions, and others. Therefore, addressing the increasing crime committed by influential elites requires efforts focused on prevention rather than just heavy punishment. One potential solution is through a religious approach, particularly by referencing the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Several hadiths teach the concept of Zuhd, which emphasizes avoiding excessive wealth accumulation and enjoying giving and sharing blessings with others. This article aims to present the Prophet’s teachings on leading a humble life and not excessively valuing wealth. The study employed qualitative research methods, including a literature review of relevant library sources. As a result, this article emphasizes that the Prophet taught that the orientation of human life should not solely focus on fulfilling worldly demands but also on having faith in the afterlife. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) exemplified Zuhd in his life, and his example needs to be emulated in the modern world today. Elite individuals who embody Zuhd will be more capable of restraining themselves from committing crimes while fulfilling their duties. The purpose of this study was to examine and develop al-Qirā’ah al-Rasyīdah textbooks using interactive e-books to improve the ability of students to read and determine the effectiveness of their use. The research instruments are interviews, questionnaires, and tests using the Borg and Ghall theories. The object of this research is the students of class VII-C at MTs Insan Qur'ani in the 2022-2023 school year, totaling 28 people. The results showed that the development of the al-Qirā’ah al-Rasyīdah book for Qirā'ah learning using an interactive e-book was very effective. Ikhwan","doi":"10.22373/jiif.v23i2.17167","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22373/jiif.v23i2.17167","url":null,"abstract":"This study discusses the direction and strategy of developing character education to change the personality and disposition of students towards a more religious, disciplined, and moderate direction, especially those who study at integrated Islamic boarding schools in Aceh Besar using the taghyir approach. This term itself means changes that are made in earnest to shape the personality of students. The study was conducted at four integrated Islamic boarding schools in Aceh Besar; Pesantren Al-Manar, Pesantren Al Falah Abu Lam U, and Pesantren Oemar Diyan. The paradigm of interpretation with a character education approach becomes a framework of thinking in this study. This study uses qualitative research methods, by selecting several informants who are directly involved in the world of education in integrated Islamic boarding schools, to get an emic perspective and observe directly the process of character change carried out. The results of the study show that character building with taghyir methods and models has been practiced by each of the integrated pesantren is almost uniform, considering that the third qibla of pesantren is Gontor which is the basis of the development of modern pesantren in Indonesia. The locus of character change is prioritized on changing attitudes in the context of religion, discipline, respecting differences, and upholding attitudes as a student. Character changes tend to be easily developed among female students, given their attitude of obeying every pesantren regulation. In addition, the example of teachers is the main key in the application of taghyir in the most popular Islamic boarding schools for the formation of the character of students. Taghyir in Pesantren was developed with an emphasis on the value of religious character, and the role of teachers and parents in changing and fostering the character of students to foster the character of students who live in integrated Islamic boarding schools in Aceh Besar.
