It is motivated by quantum computer's ability to perform computational tasks with efficiencies that are not possible with classical computers. Quantum computing technology has a lasting potential impact on society and broad implications on many aspects of our lives. Although quantum computing has several advantages, it threatens the security of current cryptographic techniques. It is expected that quantum computers will be able to solve the key distribution problem and break every single cryptography and authentication algorithm based on asymmetric cryptography. New emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, blockchain, autonomous vehicles, 5G, artificial intelligence and robotics all rely on cryptography for their secure operation. Therefore, the realisation of quantum computing will pose significant challenges to the current progress and future development of these technologies. In this paper, the quantum technology preliminaries are discussed. The possible impact of quantum technologies on emerging technologies is investigated. Finally, some of the currently available quantum-safe cryptosystems devoted to protecting computer systems in the quantum era are discussed.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128657433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using data for more than 170 countries over the period 1990-2019, we find that ICT index has positive impact on GDP growth overall. On the other hand, we also find that Internet users, mobile phone users and internet servers have inverted U-shaped association with GDP growth. The results suggest that innovative activities proxied by ICT and digitalization are instrumental for economic growth in the long run.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"2797 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127441793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fundamental goal of deep learning is automatically extracting significant features from images, eliminating the need for a classic feature extraction method. We describe how to extract high-quality and coherent knowledge from Arabic printed document images using deep learning. This system is constructed on keywords used to classify Arabic document images according to these keywords. We used A questionnaire to choose valuable words according to historical, scientific, or religious documents. The evaluation of the proposed system is applied to Arabic printed document images to extract keywords. The accuracy of the proposed deep learning extraction approach is hugely affected by image preprocessing and image quality. The proposed system has a higher level of accuracy while extracting keywords. We achieve a 3.78% character error rate in the proposed system and a 15.46% word error rate.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132440476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using time periods empirical technics, the study explores long-run and short-run connection between global tourism arrivals, employment including real GDP in Uzbekistan by using Autoregressive Distributed Lag model for the interval from 1991 to 2020. The effects attained from the studies show that there is a close connection among tourism, employment and economic rise of Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the studies show that there is one-way Granger causality flow between tourism and economic growth of Uzbekistan. The main benefit of the study is that, despite of providing robust results in small sample areas, it is no need to a priori information about the integration belongings of the variables. Moreover, growing number of international tourists will thus give a positive influence on Uzbekistan's economy and employment. Our investigations suggest that Uzbekistan can strengthen its economic prosperity by strategically supporting its tourism sector in the country.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132843375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fire detection using video surveillance as input is much more efficient than fire sensors because of the broader coverage area and is relatively cheaper. Several previous studies used handcrafted features as a differentiator between fire and other objects. Features like color, texture, and motion can be used as a reference for detecting fire. Object detection techniques using video as input are overgrowing. Some researchers use deep learning architecture to detect objects from video input. The deep learning architecture is capable of extracting features directly from video input by leveraging neural network layers. This study tries to compare several deep learning methods for fire detection from video input. The methods compared are Faster RCNN, Yolov4, and Yolov5. After being evaluated, the method with the best True Positive Rate is Yolov4 with a value of 84.62%, while the method with the best True Negative Rate value is Yolov5 with a value of 97.06%. Yolov5 is also the method with the best computational time that is 23.26 FPS. Faster RCNN got an excellent positive rate, almost close to the positive rate of Yolov4 and Yolov5. However, the negative rate of Faster RCNN is quite alarming. The computation time required is also longer than Yolov4 and Yolov5.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"371 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126713532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clause 8.2 of this program defines the task of \"achieving growth in efficiency in the economy.\" The aim of the study is to group all the factors that affect intensive growth in the country and to determine their level of impact. The study used panel and Pearson correlation methods using IBM SPSS. As a result of the analysis, the quality of public administration was the most intensive factor in the growth of GNPs in the country. What are the sub-factors in the composition of the factors grouped as a discussion? Is it possible to create a regression model to determine the forecast values for the next period in Uzbekistan using these factors? In conclusion, on the basis of systematization and analysis of the factors influencing the rapid economic growth in the country, the level of correlation impact was determined and proposals for its improvement were developed.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123203714","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ensuring the security of transmitted data continues to be a critical issue due to the fast advancement in technology. The studied problem is proven to be NP-hard in the strong sense. The contribution of this paper is twofold. First, we propose a network architecture that enables multilevel data sharing through two routers based on a data category classification constraint. Second, we propose a set of heuristic algorithms for an NP-Hard problem. The constraint of the studied problem is described as follows. Two files belonging to the same category of confidential level should not be transmitted simultaneously through the routers. The proposed architecture involves a scheduler component responsible for finding a schedule that minimizes the maximum estimated transmission time respecting the data category classification constraint. An experimental result is carried out to show the performance of the proposed algorithms. Several indicators are used to measure the performance of algorithms. The best algorithm is the Modified decreasing estimated-transmission time algorithm in 91.6% of cases. The experimental results confirm the practicality of the proposed scheme in terms of two-machines scheduling problems.","PeriodicalId":315315,"journal":{"name":"The 5th International Conference on Future Networks & Distributed Systems","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126583694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
