Accurate segmentation of brain tumor plays a vital role for analyzes, diagnosis and planning for treatment. An efficient method for brain tumor segmentation from T1 weighted MRI images is performed in two phases based on histogram thresholding and region growing techniques. Since the time of introduction of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI), technologies to interact with the machine has been mostly confined to only one input device namely mouse. Even though there are several techniques for input modalities coming up in this area of research, the demand for the most comfortable way of UX design always persist in the realm of HCI. This paper evaluates three different input modalities namely Laser Point Tracker, IMU Tracker, Finger Tracker and Motion Tracker for the performance index, cognitive load and the system usability. The present work aims at implementing a system to efficiently and accurately distinguish counterfeit Egyptian banknotes from genuine ones. The approach consists of a number of components including image processing, image histogram, color moments, characteristics extraction and texture analysis. Case studies use many techniques to construct benchmarks based on dozens of genuine currencies. And then we used measures of proximity to decide whether the tested paper is genuine. These techniques use the approach of exploratory data analysis which utilizes: histogram, mean and median defined ranges, color moments, Euclidean distance, and texture analysis. Texture analysis uses image segmentation to extract three security features, namely, anti-scan, optically variable ink, and latent image. Wavelet transform is used to break the complex images into small units and can be reconstructed with high precision. The EZW algorithm is a lossy compression algorithm and it achieves better compression ratio at low bit rates. The principle of Huffman coding is the data that occurs frequently are reduced or encoded in to number of bits. Experiments are carried with the multi-spectral IKONOS satellite imagery and Still image (LENA). The results showed that there is an increase in compression ratio. Moreover, the accuracy of the reconstructed image is calculated using confusion matrices. This research work investigates the various physiological parameters that are used as risk factors for the prediction of stroke. Data was collected from International Stroke Trial database and was successfully trained and tested using Support Vector Machine (SVM). Development of metal matrix composite draws the application of the fabrication of aircraft and aerospace structures. Hence manufacturing of composites needs attention. This paper discusses an investigation of developing Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) neuro fuzzy model to predict wear rate for the developed composite under given set of parameters such as applied load, sliding velocity and distance travelled. Taguchi method is employed to conduct experiments. Obtained results were employed to train and test the proposed ANFIS model. In this paper, presented SIW π slot antenna for 57–64 GHz band applications which is designed by using Rogers RT/Duriod 5880 whose dielectric constant is 2.2 and thickness of 0.381mm. Computer simulation technology studio suite is used for simulation and Observed the results reflection coefficient, VSWR, gain, radiation pattern. Obtained 3.28GHz bandwidth with respect to −10 dB reference line with two resonant frequency 60GHz and 62 GHz and return loss are −37.588dB, −33.05dB.
