The four-legged loaded slots elements are first applied to design a dualband spatial bandpass filter. This type of FSS is constructed using two periodically different size four-legged loaded elements that have geometrical self similarity. And two dielectric slabs are added to each side of the single slotted surface. Its frequency performance is obtained by using numerical simulation software HFSS based on finite-element method (FEM). The simulated results show the good stability of the resonant frequency and bandwidth at different polarisation states and various incident angles.","PeriodicalId":315133,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127191339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MR preconditioner is a physics-based preconditioning scheme for the Method-of- Moments (MoM) methods, which is derives from the generation of a MR basis. And the MR basis functions are constructed as linear combinations of Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) basis functions. Unlike other preconditioners, the perturbed MR preconditioner requires a low memory occupation and computational cost for its generation and application. The use of the perturbed MR preconditioner combined with the MLFMA can speeds up the convergence rate of the iterative solvers effectively.","PeriodicalId":315133,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125008027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The repeater employs two stages radio frequency AGC circuits, which are gain control of input part and output part respectively, so that the system can work normally and automatically control the output power. Agilent advanced design system (ADS) is used as a simulation tool to analyze the performance. The results show that it is performed well, which has the characteristic of good frequency selectivity and channel selectivity, steady controllable output, large range of AGC gain and wide range of output power. Therefore, the proposed system is suitable to solve the problem of the dead zone in WCDMA communication.","PeriodicalId":315133,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125741073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A broadband frequency selective surface (FSS) applies to indoor radar environments to reduce the strength of scattered and reflected electromagnetic fields. This FSS has shown proper bandstop characteristics for 3.3 GHz signals while allows 950 MHz mobile phone, television and radio signals to pass through almost without attenuation. Simulations have been carried out by CST microwave studio at different frequencies in order to verify the frequency selectivity of FSS. The incidence waves were applied in different angle to confirm the ability of this structure to remove scattering waves.
