An integral transform, the elliptical Radon transform is introduced and used to model the data. This paper presents some new numerical results about the inversion of the elliptical Radon in 2D. A new approximate inversion formula is presented in the case of circular acquisition geometry when the source and the receiver are rotating around the origin at a fixed distance from each other. We demonstrate the efficiency of the suggested algorithm by presenting a computational implementation of the method on a numerical phantom. This subject has become increasingly important as a result of the large emphasis placed on environmental and safety regulations, plant efficiency and economic factors. The primary objective of process control is to maintain a process at the desire operating conditions safely and efficiently, while satisfying environment and product quality requirements [1]. The nonlinear nature of these processes requires other methods than conventional control. Fuzzy controllers are a practical alternative for such processes and provide human experts the ability to control the process by having intuitive understanding of it. Fuzzy controllers are knowledge-based controllers and do not involve or require a mathematical model of the process throughout its design and implementation. This paper addresses the application of fuzzy control to a continually stirred tank reactor (CSTR). Motors are one of the common used elements in almost all plant machinery. They cause the machine failure upon getting faulty. Therefore advance and effective condition monitoring techniques are required to monitor and detect the motor problems at incipient stages. This avoids catastrophic machine failure and costly unplanned shutdown. In this paper the acoustic emission (AE) monitoring system is established. It discusses a method based on time and frequency domain analysis of AE signals acquired from motors used in chemical process pilot plant. A real time measurement system is developed. This paper aims to control air conditioning system using neural network method with a PID controller to increase the efficiency of the system, enhance the performance, and reducing power consumption through a smooth control of the compressor motor. The simulation result shows that using Neural network method either for tuning the PID parameters or for performing the speed control of the compressor is more superior in terms of performance compared to traditional PID method. More precisely, we propose an efficient algorithm to assist the medial staff in a hospital to deal with a crisis caused by receiving a large number of patients simultaneously. Our algorithm runs by all member of the medical team in parallel and guides every team member in his/her choice of which patient to rescue at every moment. Our extensive simulation results show that our algorithm achieves very efficient results. In some scenarios, the percentage of saved patients exceeds 82%. Continuing the machining operation with a worn or damaged tool will result in damages to the workpiece. This problem becomes more important in supplementary machining processes like drilling which the workpiece usually has passed a lot of machining processes and any damage to workpiece at this stage results in high production losses. In this research features of sound pressure and vibration signals in drilling process are recorded and analyzed in order to detect tool wear. Signal statistical features are extracted in time domain, and the features trends as the tool becomes worn are extracted. Frequency spectrum of signals is calculated and Wavelet Packet Decomposition (WPD) is applied to focus on specific frequency bands. In this research capability of both sound and vibration signals for drill wear detection are shown and the most informative features of the signals for wear detection are evaluated and introduced. The robot longitudinal and lateral motions are obtained by replacing the mass center of the internal driving unit (IDU) with two sets of orthogonal actuation systems. The unique mechanical structure of the driving unit makes it more reliable and more stable than previous similar robots and results more precise control of the robot in different paths and places. The different components of mechanical construction, actuators drive and control system, and assembling these components to work as a robot are explained. By mimicking this process, we are able to transform a 2-3 or more dimensional image or dataset into a perfect binary tree structure. Here we show potentially possible approach how to compress this kind of bitmap. The energy is harvested by attaching a piezoelectric transducer to the plunge degree of freedom. A model that tightly couples the electromechanical model with the three dimensional unsteady vortex lattice method for the prediction of the unsteady aerodynamic loads is developed. The effects of the electrical load resistance, nonlinear torsional spring and eccentricity between the elastic axis and the gravity axis on the level of the harvested power are determined for a range of operating wind speeds. The results show that there is an optimum value of load resistance that maximizes the level of harvested power. The results also show that the nonlinear torsional spring plays an important role in enhancing the level of the harvested power. Furthermore, the harvested power can be increased by properly choosing the eccentricity. The process considered for modeling is a conical tank liquid level system. Control of liquid level in a conical tank is nonlinear due to the variation in the area of cross section with change in shape. Black box modeling is used to identify the system, which is identified to be nonlinear and approximated to be a First Order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) model.
