Comparamos los niveles de empoderamiento de mujeres que no realizan trabajo extradoméstico, con aquellas que trabajan sin remuneración y con quienes trabajan y perciben ingresos. Encontramos evidencias de que el trabajo extradoméstico está relacionado con mayores niveles de empoderamiento de las mujeres, tanto a nivel global como en dimensiones específicas de éste, y dicho incremento es más claro cuando este trabajo supone un ingreso laboral. Las mujeres que reciben ingresos por su trabajo tienen mayor poder de decisión, mayor autonomía, actitudes menos apegadas a los estereotipos de género, mayores recursos económicos y sus parejas participan más activamente en el trabajo del hogar y de cuidados, en comparación con las mujeres sin trabajo extradoméstico. Se concluye que el trabajo extradoméstico se asocia positivamente con altos niveles de empoderamiento de las mujeres y la relación se ve influida por factores sociodemográficos y características del trabajo realizado.","PeriodicalId":31490,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Estudios de Genero La Ventana","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89875599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Con base en el análisis de entrevistas en profundidad llevadas a cabo entre 2014 y 2019 a la comunidad médica del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (Argentina) se expone una tipología de actitudes profesionales frente a la demanda de atención de la salud por parte de la población trans. Las conclusiones establecen que la actual crisis de la autoridad médica puede presentarse como una oportunidad para promover instancias de reflexividad profesional y de escucha de las necesidades de salud de dicha población.","PeriodicalId":31490,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Estudios de Genero La Ventana","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77600203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El texto parte de la inquietud por comprender la interpelación que el movimiento feminista actual lleva a cabo en un colectivo de expresas políticas organizadas en torno a la denuncia de violencia sexual y la construcción de un memorial para presas políticas. Se detiene especialmente en los lugares de enunciación y en el acercamiento a un lenguaje feminista. En términos conceptuales, busca lograr un aporte articulando dos campos de estudio: la memoria y los estudios de género; en términos histórico-políticos: tender un puente, siempre inestable, entre el movimiento de los derechos humanos y el feminista. Las fuentes que se analizan son los testimonios orales de expresas políticas desplegados en los últimos dos años en Uruguay.\u0000 ","PeriodicalId":31490,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Estudios de Genero La Ventana","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82236407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the cultural field, certain artistic/cultural experiences with territorial base coincide with these movements in the demand for the visibility of diverse ways of being in the world, their cultural rights and social equity. This article analyzes the synergy both, —in the framework of an investigation carried out between 2015 and 2020— from a socio-anthropological approach and gender(s) perspective, by in-depth interviews, participant and non-participant observations, key informants and the systematization of a collective work that has been done with 40 territorial cultural/artistic experiences between 2019 and mid-2020. Towards the end, the article reflects on how the observed trajectories account for the en-gendered processes of power in the experiences of creation and expression of culture and art in the (re) formulation of social movements and public policies implemented in this field, their management and a State project. Likewise, the intersectional challenge is posed to account for the living culture of our Latin America.","PeriodicalId":31490,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Estudios de Genero La Ventana","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83573478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We review intelectual proposals from different areas of knowledge: Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, Néstor García Canclini, Hommi Bhabha and Nancy Fraser; our aim is to tension the sex-gender normativities which prevail in our cultural order, and which are the basis on which the pluralities which form a part of social life are excluded. The works referred to share this critical attitude to binary thinking: a de-idealisation of the pure, the native, identity, fixedness, the monolithic subject. They do not believe in the fixed categories of modernity, but share the perspective of dynamism, flows and the permanent reconfiguration of otherness/alterity. Our reading of intellectuals translates into some proposals —and questions— to extend the theoretical-conceptual corpus in the field of gender studies.","PeriodicalId":31490,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Estudios de Genero La Ventana","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88914004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
