Libraries preserve knowledge so that none is lost, organize knowledge so that none is wasted, and make knowledge available so that no one need deprive in this information age. The reading habits of users are constantly evolving, and their ICT skills are producing a considerable shift in their reading habits. As a result, readers' expectations and requirements are changing as well as expanding. This field's current modifications may lead to a new walk in the near future. Librarians and library professionals are also experimenting and seeking innovative approaches to address these new challenges. Libraries are being turned into information centre, e-libraries, and digital libraries as a result. Many new technologies and techniques are being used in digital libraries. The digital library does, in fact, bring us closer together than we have ever been before. These are systems that provide users with consistent access to a significant amount of data and knowledge. ICT and social media have also been vital in addressing new difficulties and establishing new tools and methods to meet expanding user expectations.
