But in fact, this ability rarely gets attention in school. This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of the multimodel-based physics module on students' problem-solving abilities. This module was developed using Flip PDF Professional with the ADDIE development model and implemented in 34 students of class X MIPA at a high school in Banjarbaru. Data collection instruments were obtained from student learning outcomes based on problem-solving indicators. The results showed an increase in students' problem-solving abilities; this was based on the acquisition of a mean pre-test score of 4.63 in the very poor category to a post-test average score of 52.68 in the sufficient category and supported by an n-gain of 0.50 in the moderate category. Thus, it can be concluded that the multimodel-based physics module developed is classified as effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities.","PeriodicalId":31460,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Fisika AlBiruni","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85899454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these skills are less practised in schools. Therefore, this study aims to produce feasible worksheets to train students' critical thinking skills on temperature and heat. Five worksheets are developed: solid expansion, liquid expansion, gas expansion, heat and Black's principle. The research design used Tessmer's formative evaluation, including self-evaluation, expert review, individual trials, small group trials, and field trials. The validity of the worksheet was obtained through assessment by three experts and two science learning practitioners. Individual tests on three students, small group tests on nine students, and field tests on 32 students. The results showed: (1) the worksheets are valid because the results of content and construct validation on the five worksheets are 91.88; 92.81; 93.44; 93.75; and 92.81 with very valid categories; and (2) the worksheets are feasible because the content, expected, and actual feasibility scores are 84.44; 87.62, and 86.41 respectively with very good categories. Thus, the worksheets are feasible to use in science learning. These worksheets can be an alternative for educators in increasing the activity of students to improve learning outcomes, especially critical thinking.","PeriodicalId":31460,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Fisika AlBiruni","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83682381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development result was checked to determine the interactive learning media's validity, effectiveness, and students' responses. The research method uses Nieveen methods such as preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment phases. The interactive learning media were validated by 3 validators, including 2 expert validators and a user validator. Interactive learning media effectiveness and students' responses were analyzed by two trial activities (a limited trial including 10 students and a wide trial including 36 students). The development result is physics interactive learning media for senior high school (METAFORA) on heat and temperature, used with a PC and smartphone. Based on the evaluation of three validators, the validity score of interactive learning media is 4,74, and it is classified as valid. The N-Gain formula calculates interactive learning media from students' pre-test and post-test results. The interactive learning media effectiveness N-gain score is 0.60 (medium) based on a limited trial and 0.66 (medium) based on a large trial. The student's response was analyzed from the questionnaire given after implementing interactive learning media. In the limited trial, the student response percentage is 79.22%, which falls into the good category, and in the wide trial, it is 80.34 percent, which falls into the very good category.
